Predominantly Remote | Monthly London Team Meetings (Expenses Paid)
| Interim Opportunity with Long-Term Potential

Are you an experienced Systems or Applications Administrator looking for a role where you can combine hands-on systems support with the opportunity to make a genuine difference?
We're partnering with a well-established national charity that supports individuals, families and communities across a range of health and social care services. As the organisation continues to invest in its digital, data and technology capabilities, they are looking for a Business Systems Administrator to help strengthen the day-to-day management and support of their business-critical systems.

This role is centred around systems administration. You'll be responsible for ensuring applications run effectively, users are supported, access and permissions are managed appropriately, and system issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. You'll work closely with colleagues across services, data teams and external suppliers to help improve both the user experience and the quality of information held within systems.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and system configuration
  • Supporting and troubleshooting business applications
  • Acting as a key point of contact for system users across the organisation
  • Working with suppliers to resolve issues and deliver improvements
  • Supporting upgrades, testing and implementation activities
  • Maintaining documentation, processes and best practice guidance
  • Contributing to data quality and governance initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and ways of working
You may currently be working as a:
  • Systems Administrator
  • Applications Administrator
  • Business Systems Administrator
  • Application Support Analyst
  • Systems Support Analyst
  • Systems Coordinator
Experience supporting business applications, managing users and permissions, working with suppliers and providing excellent support to non-technical stakeholders will be important.

Desirable experience Whilst not essential, applications from candidates with experience in the charity, healthcare, social care, public sector or wider not-for-profit sectors would be particularly welcomed. An understanding of case management systems, client record systems, health-related platforms or service delivery environments would be beneficial, as you'll be supporting systems that help frontline teams deliver vital services. This could include experience gained within charities, NHS settings, healthcare providers, housing organisations or community-based services.
Why apply? This is more than a traditional systems administration role.

The immediate requirement is for someone who can take ownership of the operational administration of key systems, but the organisation sees this position as part of its longer-term digital development journey. For the right person, there is genuine scope to broaden your responsibilities, influence how systems are managed across the organisation and develop into a future Business Systems Lead position.

If you're looking for a role where your technical skills can support a meaningful cause, whilst offering clear opportunities for growth and development, we'd love to hear from you.

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
