Job description

Flexible Working:

Hybrid working model with at least 40% office time.

Core team day on Tuesdays, with one additional day per week chosen by the employee.

As Finance Treasury Manager, your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Leading and motivating a team to provide exceptional financial accounting and treasury services.
  • Overseeing the entire year-end process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Managing banking, investments, and cash flow for the group.
  • Partnering with boards and committees on strategic financial planning.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing financial accounting team.
  • Expertise in statutory accounting regulations (FRS 102 & charity accounting).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized CCAB accounting qualification

Knowledge:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations (FRS 102, charity accounting)
  • Working knowledge of data protection requirements

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of:
  • Accountability for full year-end audits
  • Producing Statutory Accounts using FRS102 and SORP
  • Preparing Group Accounts
  • Developing, maintaining, and evaluating effective control frameworks
  • Direct staff management
  • Giving formal presentations and report writing
  • Preparing VAT and Corporation tax returns
