Head of People and CultureSalary: £65,000 per annum
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)

With an ambitious strategy and an exciting period of organisational development ahead, the organisation is seeking an experienced HR leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational excellence. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Group, you will influence organisation-wide decision-making and help create an outstanding employee experience across the charity.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead the development and delivery of a modern People and Culture strategy that supports organisational goals, drives positive cultural change and enables colleagues to thrive.
This is a highly visible leadership role, combining strategic influence with hands-on responsibility for the day-to-day people function. Working closely with senior leaders, managers and colleagues, you will ensure that the organisation attracts, develops and retains talented people while maintaining a strong, inclusive and values-led culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the People and Culture strategy.
- Partner with the Chief Executive and senior leaders on organisational development, workforce planning and change management.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, organisational design, succession planning and people-related risk.
- Lead cultural development, engagement and wellbeing initiatives that foster inclusion, belonging and collaboration.
- Develop and oversee best-practice approaches to recruitment, onboarding, performance management and learning and development.
- Ensure all HR policies and processes remain compliant, effective and aligned with organisational values.
- Monitor and report on workforce metrics, people-related KPIs and organisational risks.
- Lead and develop the People function, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality HR service.
- Support the successful delivery of organisational change programmes and consultation processes.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience developing and delivering people strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience advising senior leaders on complex people and organisational issues.
- A track record of leading culture change, engagement and organisational development initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing employee relations matters and consultation processes.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Experience using HR systems, workforce data and reporting to inform decision-making.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with excellent judgement and influencing skills.
