London (West) £37,000–£41,000
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days per week in the office.
We’re working with a well-established international charity / not-for-profit organisation delivering life-saving work in the health space, underpinned by a strong humanitarian mission.
This is a great opportunity for a confident, hands-on HR Generalist who enjoys making things run well and wants their work to have a visible, practical impact day to day.
You’ll be joining a small HR team with a strong focus on delivering clear, consistent and well-run people processes. Working closely with the Senior HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day HR administration and operational workload, helping to ensure HR runs smoothly, communicates clearly and supports managers and employees effectively.

The role will include:
- End-to-end recruitment support, from drafting adverts through to interview coordination, offers and onboarding
- Owning core HR administration and employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
- Supporting routine employee relations matters such as sickness absence and standard policy queries
- Supporting monthly payroll preparation (starters, leavers, changes, statutory payments) and benefits administration
- Contributing to HR processes, policies and continuous improvement activity
- Proven HR generalist experience with strong operational capability
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing priorities independently
- Calm, pragmatic and professional, with strong communication skills
- Motivated by working in a mission-driven, purpose-led organisation
