Individual Giving & Supporter Experience Officer
Salary: £28,500 - £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (30 hours considered)
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire (Hybrid working: office-based every Tuesday and Wednesday, with home working on other days.)

Herts Young Homeless is looking for an Individual Giving & Supporter Experience Officer to play a key role in growing supporter income and engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected charity supporting vulnerable young people across Hertfordshire. You'll lead on individual giving activity, develop inspiring supporter communications and help build lasting relationships that generate vital income for services that prevent and relieve youth homelessness. The role has a fundraising target of £100,000 and will also support the development of new initiatives, including legacy giving.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and growing the individual giving programme
- Delivering supporter acquisition, retention and stewardship activity
- Creating engaging fundraising campaigns and communications across digital and direct channels
- Managing supporter relationships and delivering excellent supporter care
- Using CRM data and insight to improve engagement and fundraising performance
- Developing supporter journeys that encourage long-term support
- Monitoring income and identifying opportunities for growth
- Supporting fundraising appeals, campaigns and wider team activity
- Ensuring communications are compliant, accurate and supporter focused
We're open to candidates from fundraising, marketing, communications, customer engagement or similar backgrounds.
You'll bring:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Experience using a CRM or database
- Confidence working with data and reporting information
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
