Are you a visionary charity leader whose expertise lies within health-related organisations or initiatives?

Exciting role for a charity CEO/NED/COO to act as Strategic Lead to spearhead an Independence Programme for one of the leading faculties in a medical Royal College who's looking to become an independent professional and statutory body.

This is as 12 month FTC part time 2-3 days per week - Salary £102,000 PA - FTE pro rata to part time hours.

A pivotal role which involves shaping the strategic direction and operational framework of the charity. You'll be required to work closely with the executive Board and key stakeholders to build a strong foundation which allows growth and subsequent impact in the healthcare sector.

Example of duties:

  • Strategic Leadership - Lead on the development strategic plan that outlines goals, objectives and activities.
  • Finance & Resource Mobilisation - Implement strategies to ensure financial sustainability and clarify impacts on parent organisation.
  • Organisational development - Establish policies, procedures and systems for effective operations.
  • Programme Development - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement key initiatives and integration of data, examinations, and systems.
  • Advocacy - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, members and partners, advocate for policies.

About you:

  • Proven senior leadership (Director or CEO level) experience in non-profit in health-related organisation of £2mill+
  • Strong strategic planning and change management skills
  • Experience in charity governance, research, legal and financial planning, digital/data/HR and project management.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare issues and the broader healthcare system
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
