A chartered professional membership body has a contract opportunity available that is likely to extend, initially up to May 2027. for a Volunteer Coordinator or Events professional to join them to help support their professional volunteer networks with excellent customer service, administration and events coordination. This opportunity offers flexible hybrid working arrangements.

As the Membership Networks Coordinator, you will support volunteers in the organisation and promotion of online and in person events, as well as supporting during events and meetings. At both local and national events, you will also act as an ambassador for the organisation. You will also provide administrative support to the volunteer management team, this can include being the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with key stakeholders, responding to queries in a timely and helpful way, liaising with IT when volunteers have IT issues, and maintaining up to date contacts and records for all volunteers.  As well as be at events in person to support. 

You will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience of working with volunteers and in a customer facing role
* Good communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and members via email, phone and face-to-face
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate, up to date records
* Excellent IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office and using a CRM database
* Experience with setting up webinar and online meeting platforms, such as MS Teams, Zoom etc.
* Strong time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and co-ordinate other people/diary management.
* Self motivated, pro-active and driven

 There will be an occassional need for you to take a turn to attend an evening in person, which you will be able to take time off in lieu.  Team members work collaboratively to cover this need in turns.

Salary:  £34,000 - £36,000
Contract: Fixed term, likely to extend
