In this role you will provide excellent personalised support to our ambitious Development Board, a group of eight well connected individuals using their networks to accelerate Cure Parkinson’s income generation, and be an integral part of the team delivering two special philanthropy events.
Cure Parkinson’s Gala 2027: Our last gala event ‘An Evening at the Roundhouse’, in October 2024, raised over £500,000. The evening was hosted by Edith Bowman and Simon Mayo and included performances from Emeli Sandé and Peter Andre.
Grand Cru.saders Banquet: The Grand Cru.saders are a new group of philanthropic wine enthusiasts with a mission, set up by our Development Board. To join each member pledges a case from their cellar to be auctioned in support of Cure Parkinson’s at an annual dinner. Their inaugural event took place in September 2025 and raised over £160,000.
Over the next 18 months we plan to build on the success of these events, delivering the second Grand Cru.saders Banquet in September 2026 and a gala in Spring 2027. As Major Gifts and Philanthropy Events Officer you would be a vital part of the team making this happen.
Everything we do is to move us closer to our goal, of finding new treatments to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson’s.

About the role
Our Ayrshire and Arran Infant Feeding Peer Support Project is commissioned by NHS Ayrshire and Arran to offer infant feeding support as part of the integrated Infant Feeding service. The support is delivered, on a one to one basis to the families from the antenatal period through to when baby is 6-8 weeks old, in families homes, via phone, text and video calls.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
• Providing one to one breastfeeding and infant feeding support to families within Ayrshire and Arran, in homes, via phone, text and video calls.
• Inputting information onto patients records within platforms used by the health professionals in the region.
• Having a good working knowledge, understanding and experience of the local demographics in the Ayrshire and Arran area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.

About you
You will:
Have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system
- Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.

- Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer

About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Action for Stammering Children for a Deputy CEO who is interested in combining their fundraising expertise with a dynamic leadership role. You will be the first point of contact for the organisation, providing a welcoming and professional service to colleagues, partners and members of our global community, many of whom do not have English as their first language. You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the office by providing high-quality administrative support.
This is an entry-level role, and no previous work experience is required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is a fast learner, enjoys helping others, and is keen to develop their administrative and customer service skills. You should have good telephone manners, be organised and comfortable using IT systems; experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) is desirable, but full training will be provided.
This is a full-time, temporary position with a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home). Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the South Central region, covering HMP Aylesbury and HMP Bullingdon. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the Central region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including possible overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. Oasis St Martin’s Village
Oasis St Martins Village is part of Oasis which is a group of organisations, committed to building stronger communities. Oasis Nurture
Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.
Oasis Nurture is in its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.
As a Teacher, you will be working with a maximum of six children supported by a key worker and a therapeutic practitioner. You will work alongside a therapeutic lead and a clinical lead.
In this role you will be:
· Working with the home school and parents/carers to understand the children’s needs and developing agreed goals for learning and emotional and social development
· Developing a basic curriculum for Key Stage 2 children for numeracy and literacy, related to their stage learning at their home school, so that they don’t fall behind.
· Providing a personalised, bespoke and restorative approach for each individual child to help address their challenges and fulfil their potential.
· Maintaining clear and accurate records for individual children on the designated online systems and reporting back to the home school and parents/carers on the agreed goals
· You will also be working with the Therapeutic Lead to provide opportunities for mindful therapeutic care to remove barriers to learning and provide emotional support to access the curriculum. While this role requires primary teaching experience it also requires someone who has experience of working in trauma responsive ways and understands the therapeutic needs of children who struggle to engage.
Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families. Oasis Nurture is not a statutory provision and does not therefore follow teachers’ pay and conditions. Oasis offers all the usual employment benefits including sick pay and pension.
