As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicated HR Project Manager to join their team and support their mission.

Purpose of Role:

The purpose of this new role is to support the growth of Kinship by significantly contributing to infrastructural development, ensuring effective day-to-day operations, and seamless delivery of the HR function. As a pivotal role within Kinship, the HR Project Manager will lead on all employee lifecycle activities, creating high levels of engagement and positive experiences for staff.

Working in partnership with the Interim Head of People and Culture, Director of Finance, People and Performance, the wider management team and Kinship’s external HR consultants (HR Dept) to design, develop and embed a high-quality HR function to support the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all HR matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with legal requirements and policies.

- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide guidance to line managers.

- Lead the collation of monthly payroll data and ensure its accuracy.

- Manage HR systems and databases to process employee data in line with GDPR regulations.

- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers.

- Contribute to the development of Kinship's induction framework and deliver induction sessions for new joiners.

- Identify learning and development needs within the charity and create cost-effective learning plans.

- Support the development and delivery of an effective performance management framework.

- Manage an employee relations caseload and provide support and guidance to line managers.

- Contribute to the development of Kinship's EDI framework and embed EDI principles across the charity.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Demonstrable experience of supporting the development of a high-quality HR function.

- HR certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 qualification) is essential.

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

- Excellent administrative and data management skills.

- Effective written and oral communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

You will design and deliver a safeguarding policy training plan for all staff, as Safeguarding Lead.

In this role, you will work with young people 1-1, holding small caseloads, as well as working with young people in groups and delivering employment or education-focussed sessions on a regular basis. Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by bipolar. Peer support is at the core of our work. We empower approximately 1,000 people a month to stay well - and we have the ambition to reach thousands more.

Bipolar does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, gender, age, ethnicity, race or background, consequently it affects everyone, and we estimate that one million people in the UK live with the condition many of whom remain undiagnosed, that's 1 in 50.  The condition also increases the risk of suicide by 20 times.  Bipolar impacts on relationships, missed milestones for young people with their peers, education, economic stability and employment, and creates social and economic problems and debt for those affected through symptomatic overspending.  Therefore, Bipolar UK are working hard to improve diagnosis times and support pathways to enable individuals affected by the condition to live well and fulfil their potential. At the heart of this is our peer support enabling our community to access tools and support to manage their condition.

About the role:

Bipolar UK is delighted to have this post funded through a new grant and we are seeking to recruit a Senior Peer Support Officer to work 3-days per week.

We are looking for an experienced person who is familiar with peer support and lived experience models to support and engage members of our London community who are affected by bipolar from a range of backgrounds.

Your role will include managing volunteers, increasing engagement in local existing support groups and developing new ones.  Working with our self-management trainers to run psycho-education courses.  The role will require you to work across London both online via Teams and Zoom and in-person.

Job Purpose

The Trailblazer Lead is an exciting and important role that leads delivery of Babbasa’s Trailblazer Programme - a brand new programme to support the continued professional and personal development of Babbasa’s alumni of young people who have been through our programmes (called ‘Trailblazers’). One of the core aims of the programme is to promote underrepresented young people’s voices in spaces of influence, and to positively shape policy and decision making to better ensure young people’s needs and interests from across the city are represented. 

The Trailblazer Lead will achieve this by organising and coordinating activities to support Trailblazers’ professional and personal development, from skills training and workshops, to 1:1 support, to brokering access to resources, spaces, and incentives to support their growth. Alongside this you will be working across the entire team to broker leadership and influencing opportunities for the Trailblazers and supporting them to engage with these from board positions, to speaking engagements, to engagement in research, alongside other influencing activities. The other arm of the programme involves supporting Trailblazers to engage in activities to support other young people and their local communitie, from outreach engagements, to peer mentoring, to leading and delivering their own youth projects. The Trailblazer programme is a groundbreaking programme in Bristol designed to tangibly support young people to tangibly engage in and lead on influence making and policy shaping, in a way that also supports their personal professional ambitions. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Design and deliver outreach engagements to young people in education and community settings aimed at raising awareness of Babbasa’s services, and increasing young people’s sense of confidence, belonging and empowerment.
• Coordinate a programme of skills sessions, training, and workshops tailored to the needs and interests of the Trailblazers, seeking regular feedback on activities from the Trailblazers, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Build a trusting relationship (based on Babbasa values) with young people engaged - to ensure we meet their progression outcome and identify/address any health and safety, disability, equality, concerns or welfare issues.
• With the support of the Babbasa team broker and coordinate leadership and influencing activities for the Trailblazers such as engagement in youth projects and programmes, research projects, access to positions of influence (e.g. board membership), and other Continued Professional Development opportunities.
• Support Trailblazers to engage and successfully influence businesses, statutory bodies, city wide voluntary organisations, and local or national government to advocate for the needs and views of young people from their communities.
• Provide personalised 1:1 support and coaching to our Trailblazers ranging from careers support (e.g. support with job applications and interview skills), to wider professional and personal development goals (e.g. applying for training, attending industry or city-wide events, applying for volunteer roles, finding shadowing opportunities etc.)
• Coordinate and work with the services team to identify potential Trailblazer candidates and onboard them to the programme.
• Monitor and evaluate each of the core elements of the Trailblazer programme, track individual progress including longer term outcomes, and assist to produce monthly reports on activity and impact as well as a bi-annual report to the funder (with the support of the Head of Impact and Fundraising Lead).
• Successfully engage a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels in the Trailblazer Programme and effectively steward those relationships to create strong buy-in to the programme and Babbasas’s wider mission.

You have a strong sense of professional boundaries and understand how to engage with young people in a way that makes them feel safe, and supported. You have experience delivering information and guidance to young people using best practice including referring to specialist help where needed. You have a strong understanding of the barriers under-represented or marginalised young people might face in realising their aspirations. You understand safeguarding policies and procedures, and are able to assess young people’s needs and challenges, making appropriate referrals where needed.

You’re aligned with our mission - You have lived experience and/or an understanding of the critical issues surrounding equality, inclusion and diversity, including structural issues around race and class, and how they impact young people within the communities that Babbasa serves. HOPE not hate is the UK’s leading anti-fascist organisation. Our mission is simple: To monitor and challenge the far right, to engage in the communities that are susceptible to them and to address the issues and policies which give rise to them.

Over the last five years, we have grown steadily, with our research and intelligence work exposing and undermining the far right, even foiling a murder plot, our community engagement providing expertise to vulnerable communities and our work in schools growing to teach young people to recognise and challenge prejudice and hate.

About the role
The Community Outreach Officer will deliver on helping the communities susceptible to the far right. As part of the policy team, they will have access to research and policy insights on the issues which are causing tension and divisions in communities and where these tensions are most acute, and use this to devise locally-led solutions in partnership with key figures in the community and relevant sectors.

They will have experience in community organising, whether through employment or voluntary work, and use this experience to develop an organisational strategy for addressing far-right organising and hate-based community tensions. Part of the strategy will include a plan to extend and deepen HOPE not hate’s existing relationships in key areas across the UK. It will also involve designing and publicising resources, developing and delivering training and writing regular briefings. 

Willingness to work with a variety of stakeholders is important. The role will include liaising with local authorities, national and local organisations and grassroots community activists to build and facilitate the design of locally-led community resilience strategies. There will also be access to our existing networks and relationships across relevant sectors e.g. migration and refugee sector, community cohesion and local authorities. An understanding that communities and community groups are the experts on their own needs is crucial – solutions should be developed with, not for, those most impacted.

Who we are

Arts for Dementia is a small charity but a leader in our field. We work with artists, galleries, museums and community spaces to offer inspiring arts programmes for people in the early stages of dementia and their companions. We train facilitators from around the country in early stage dementia awareness and how to deliver effective arts-based activities for people living with dementia.  We also raise awareness of the value of the arts for people affected by dementia through our advocacy work.

Working with and supporting the Programmes and Communications Manager, alongside the Charity Administrator, to deliver creative programmes for people affected by dementia, including:

· Community outreach and development, including contacting, building relationships and working with potential partners and referrers, with a key focus on improving the diversity of our network and participants

Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs become more happy, healthy and independent. You’ll help people build the life skills they need to make positive long term changes. You’ll support our students in their sessions, both at our training centres and out in the community, helping them achieve their personal objectives and keep learning in an engaging, fun and stimulating way.

The Fund is committed to a hybrid working model that meets the organisation’s needs, while giving staff flexibility to choose between office and home working. Most staff are expected to work a minimum of 40% from our central London office and are free to work more days from the office if they prefer. We are in the process of developing our long-term policy on this, although the expected minimum time in the office will remain 40% (pro rata).

Home-Start is committed to promoting the welfare of families with young children to ensure that they have the best start in life. We are seeking a Volunteer Manager to recruit and develop a diverse team of volunteers, to support our work with families in Barnet, Brent and Harrow. This is a challenging role as the sector has seen a real decline in volunteering in recent years, so we're looking for an innovative, forward thinking change-maker who is ready to test new approaches.

Additionally, the Volunteer Manager will be a creative communicator, with the ability to build supportive relationships with a very large and diverse group of volunteers. The postholder will ensure that volunteers receive training, development and supervision to support the families we work with, and that high standards of practice are maintained. They will promote initiatives to increase the retention of existing volunteers and ensure that they are recognised and rewarded for their work.They will also promote Home-Start in each of the boroughs where we work, seeking opportunities for recruitment within local communities.

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Barnet, Brent and Harrow and regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.

This role is to deliver a co designed menu of support, in collaboration with The National Autistic Society, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust, and Barnardo’s. The practitioner will provide impactful, school-based support to parents and carers of children and young people, and offer consultancy, professional training and advice to school staff, school-based needs teams and system wide partners. The aim is to improve the knowledge and confidence of those supporting children, young people and their families with additional and potentially neurodivergent needs, at an early stage. 

The role will predominantly involve working within the organisations focus areas within Surrey (Waverley, Surrey Heath and Runnymede), but at times will require travel across Surrey, so access to a car is essential. 

Responsibilities  

• ·To actively encourage and facilitate collaborative ways of working with all stakeholders. 
• To be proactive in terms of outreach to enable all parents to access the service, especially those  families who may be deemed as hard to reach. 
• To be able to manage own diary and ensure effective use of time across the variety of tasks within the role. 
• To be responsible for contacting and arranging all consultations and training sessions, carrying out corresponding administrative tasks with all stakeholders 
• To work collaboratively with schools and to support them in identifying training needs. 
• ·Providing case-based consultations to schools and professionals within Cluster teams. 
• ·To attend fortnightly cluster meetings. 
• ·Where possible, to involve children, young people and their parents/carers in the co-production of programmes, activities and services. 
• To deliver a place-based programme of support to parents and carers in schools, within the clusters in which you are based. 
• To achieve contractual targets and use agreed systems for outcomes and reporting. 
• Adhere to school and organisation safeguarding processes. 
• To deliver online and in person training to partnership colleagues. 
• To contribute to the creation and maintenance of a database system within the cluster teams in which you are based. 
• To record and collect data with various tools and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of services. 
• To keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with children and young people. 
• To provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated. 
• To provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions. 
• To work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in one to one, peer and group supervision. 
• To work co-operatively and under the management of The Eikon Charity staff to ensure the highest quality of delivery and support. 
•  To work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding and data protection regulations 
• To assist with the development and progression of the service by adhering to all communication requests and assisting with peer progression development when requested through case supervision. 
• To be responsible for equipment/resources linked to service delivery.
