The Patient Safety, Experience, Risk and Quality Lead at The Children's Trust is a key leadership role within the nursing directorate, reporting directly to the Head of Safety, Clinical Governance, Risk, and Quality.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained across all services provided to children and families. Develop, implement, and monitor frameworks and initiatives that enhance patient experience and safety, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Role Requirements
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in quality, risk, patient experience, and patient safety initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with national standards and best practices.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality across all levels of the organisation, encouraging staff engagement and ownership.
- Design and work across the organisation to embed a quality impact assessment process to support strategic decision making.
The role requires flexibility in terms of hours of work, including the ability to work early and late and occasional weekend days to supervise the nursing and care services.

Rehabilitation of Offenders

RCN Foundation Benevolent Grants Manager

At the RCN Foundation, we are committed to supporting, strengthening and championing the nursing profession. As a charity and grant-maker, we do this by funding research and projects, as well as education and hardship, which support nurses, midwives and Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) to innovate, progress their careers and get through tough time.
As the Foundation’s Benevolent Grants Manager, you will use your extensive experience and skills to manage a first-class benevolent grants service at the RCN Foundation. The service is bespoke to the nursing and midwifery profession, and this role is essential in making key decisions relating to our grant-making activity to individuals in need.
In this varied role every day will be filled with possibilities. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Benevolent Service until January 2027. Your role will involve managing the Benevolent Service Team and supporting them with assessing applications and agreeing grants. You will be experienced in monitoring trends in application rates and managing the service to respond to these in a timely manner for the beneficiaries. You will have experience of monitoring and reporting on the outcomes and impact of the service and identifying and responding to trends within the data and the wider economic landscape. You will ensure the online application portal on the CRM is used to its full potential to manage all grant applications. You will also provide support to individuals through the relevant and comprehensive signposting hub, which you will keep-up-to date ensuring it is tailored to the needs of the nursing and midwifery professions.
The RCN Foundation’s Benevolent Service is an early adopter of a digitalised approach to benevolent grant making and as such we are seen as one of the leading organisations in this area. Through this role you will continue to develop the digital service and be leading on the further development of a bespoke signposting hub to complement this approach. This role will provide a great way to build on your skills and experience and develop your potential.
As well as exceptional customer service, to join us you’ll need an in-depth knowledge of best practice in respect to hardship and benevolence across more than one country of the UK. You will need to have significant experience of working in a grant-making charities. Understanding and experience of the processes of managing a benevolent service including managing the grant-making activity and evaluating the impact of the Foundation’s support are essential.
You’ll need to demonstrate you are able to work in a small team and respond swiftly to demand for the service, which is driven by external factors such as the cost-of-living crisis.
You’ll need to manage the resource within the small team to ensure the health and wellbeing of the team members is managed alongside the beneficiaries and business needs which can be different day-to-day.
You will have experience of working in grant-management to support individuals, showing them empathy, whilst supporting them is a professional and efficient manner.
You will be experienced in report writing, analysing data for trends and responding to these. You will be able to present information in a concise way to a range of stakeholders.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to appoint a new SEND Consultant to our central team of subject specialists. We want to hear from experienced teachers who have gained experience in a middle leadership role, and who have a track record of raising achievement within a department. We are looking for an experienced teacher with a deep passion for SEND. Our consultant roles are suitable for those with management experience (ideally but not necessarily at Head of Department level or alternatively be an aspirant Leading Practitioner). The post would suit an ambitious middle leader looking either to broaden their expertise and responsibilities, or who may be considering a future leadership pathway to their first headship. Although based at the Harris Federation offices close to East Croydon Station (with fast access to central London and the M25), the role will mostly be located within the academies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The post work suit an ambitious middle leaders with at least three years' SEND teaching experience and two years in a management role such as SENDCo or Co-SENDCo. A thorough understanding of the needs of students with SEND and Quality First Teaching is essential.
We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful applicant will be resilient, creative and a dynamic practitioner, and must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree. About Shout Out UK (SOUK):
Shout Out UK (SOUK) is a UK-based award-winning political and media literacy organisation with nearly a decade of experience in delivering impactful educational campaigns. The Position:
You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to manage our programme implementation and delivery. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be tasked with managing the distribution and delivery of our programmes. This will involve ensuring KPIs are met within budget and on time, larger projects may be handled by you directly at times. Programmes can vary from delivery of media literacy workshops in schools, counter extremism training in PRUs to city-wide democratic engagement campaigns.

As Partnerships Officer, you will play a central role in managing high-quality relationships with Martingale’s growing network of partners, while also supporting the governance and operational functions of the organisation. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and our existing Partnerships Officer, you will help ensure that funders, supporters, and mission-aligned organisations feel valued, engaged, and recognised for their contribution to Martingale’s success.
A key part of your role will be to strengthen relationships with funders and university partners, building long-term commitment to Martingale’s mission. You will manage relationships with multiple departments across our ten partner universities, coordinating internally to ensure these partnerships run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of the partner relations strategy, working with our 40+ partners to effectively build long-term successful relationships. Do you have experience in working with vulnerable people with complex needs in a Housing, Hostel or Supported Accommodation environment?
We have a new Housing job opportunity where you will be working with a team of Housing professionals with the aim of supporting some of the districts’ most vulnerable adults to move on from temporary accommodation.
You will be managing all temporary and emergency accommodation placements on behalf of Cotswold District Council. The role involves working closely with homeless clients in various emergency accommodation arrangements. The aim is to assist these individuals in accessing affordable housing options and ultimately reducing the time they spend in short-term accommodation.
• You will be based primarily within one of our Hostels working intensively with homeless clients to enable them to access the full range of affordable housing options with the aim of reducing time spent in short term accommodation.
• The role involves travel across our district to visit homelessness households in their temporary accommodation (including Hostels and various B&B’s) with the aim of assisting them with maximising all of the housing options available to them to ensure that they are able to move on from temporary accommodation as soon as possible.
• Create bespoke ‘Tenancy Ready’ plans for each client and ensure that they have access to the appropriate support and resources to achieve this.
• You will also take part in assisting the Temporary Accommodation Supervisor in ensuring that full risk assessments are carried out on each client before being offered a placement in Council managed accommodation.
• Assist with the daily running of the homeless hostel’s, ensure repairs are promptly reported to the Property Service Team and assist with ensuring H&S risk assessments are up to date and adhered to.

Bexley Deaf Centre (BDC) is a small and dynamic, well-established charity which has been serving the borough since 1994. The Big Issue is looking to appoint to a critical role supporting our vendors. The Support and Outreach Worker will be a leading role in our belief of “A Hand Up Not a Hand Out”, and has been created to improve our service to vendors, helping them to increase their income through selling our magazine and providing casework support.
You will also positively promote The Big Issue in your local area, build partnerships with third-party organisations and identify and promote opportunities all with the aim of moving people out of poverty.
To offer our vendors the best possible support you will have experience and knowledge of working with vulnerable adults in a frontline setting, along with the ability to offer effective sales advice and guidance helping them to increase their income through magazine sales.
In April 2023, the Big Issue Group launched a community interest company, Big Issue Changing Lives, to support more people affected by poverty and increase the impact of our services. Big Issue Changing Lives C.I.C. provides vendors with the end-to-end support they need including sales set up and support, access to health and wellbeing services, and employment opportunities.

The Role
As Team Leader (Court Services) you will be in a crucial role, responsible for the effective delivery of the Witness Service within your court/s.
You will manage, motivate and develop a team of volunteers who support witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.
You will also develop and maintain key local stakeholder relationships with a view to promoting partnership working, and enhancing service delivery standards and effectiveness.
