Job Title: Freelance Facilitator
Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead
Location: Staffordshire, in particular Stafford and surrounding area
Salary: £120 per day (including travel) plus £25 to attend meetings with a school (if required) and £50 for attending half day training or £100 for full day training. Expenses can also be claimed for programme snacks and travel to training.
One-year contracts might also be available.
Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people’s charity that has supported 27,000 young people since 2001. We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are seeking Freelance Programme Facilitators to join a pool to deliver our programmes in Staffordshire. Supported by our Programme Development Manager with training and resources you will help children and young people who are experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages improve their wellbeing, re-engage with school and learning, build networks and access opportunities.
Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. They give each young person the time, the confidence and skills to engage with their education.
You will work in schools and community settings to support young people and their families to ensure that at-risk children and young people make the most of their potential and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Affairs Officer to join our award winning and high impact team as we seek to influence the implementation of the Government’s Life Sciences Sector Plan.
You’ll engage with Parliamentarians to raise awareness of British Heart Foundation (BHF) funded research in Westminster and in their individual constituencies, while proactively spotting opportunities to draw attention to the need to address the historic shortfall in cardiovascular research funding and how Government can do so.
You’ll also support the delivery of a programme of activity and engagement that contributes to our wider Hearts Need More campaign, which aims to ensure cardiovascular disease remains a priority, from prevention through to cure.
About you
We’re looking for someone with an interest in and understanding of the UK’s political environment, with good insight into the workings of the UK Government and Westminster parliamentary procedure. You'll have an understanding of the role of BHF and other medical research charities in general, or a broader awareness of the UK’s research environment.
You'll have some experience of working in the UK Parliament or within a public affairs in-house team or consultancy, and have excellent communication skills. Previous engagement with political stakeholders will be helpful, but we also welcome those who are keen to build these relationships.We’re looking for someone who can understand and distil sometimes complex information, simply and clearly in a range of formats – letters, briefings, social media posts – for a range of audiences. The Role
What will I be doing?
As Project Officer, Workforce Partnerships, you’ll be part of the Education and Workforce team, supporting our mission to build a strong, diverse physics workforce for the future. Your work will help leverage our evidence and insights to identify and develop institutional partnerships through which we can deliver sustainable impact against our Skills priorities.
You will also take a lead in celebrating the crucial role of physics-related technical talent in the workplace through operational administration of our flagship Technical Skills Awards.
You’ll support the delivery of projects, working closely with colleagues across the organisation, IOP Members and external stakeholders.
Projects and activities you may work on include:
- Supporting stakeholder mapping and engagement activities to drive impactful new partnership development.
- Helping to design and deliver workshops, events and engagement campaigns. As an example, this could include supporting the development of case studies, and digital and print collateral, to raise the awareness and visibility of physics-related routes to employment.
- Leading the annual cycle of delivery, administration and operation of the IOP’s Technical Skills Awards.

About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on senior infrastructure and security manager to lead and manage Breast Cancer Now’s IT infrastructure and security operations.
This is a delivery focused role where you’ll take responsibility for building, configuring and maintaining infrastructure while also implementing and managing security governance controls. You’ll ensure our systems are resilient, secure and aligned with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus and NCSC guidance.
You’ll be responsible for migrating systems from on-premises to Microsoft Azure, modernising our infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable and cost-efficient. Alongside this transformation, you’ll manage day-to-day infrastructure and security operations across our hybrid environment.

The role
The Children and Young People’s Key Worker will undertake individual and group sessions with children, young people and parents/carers who are participating in our young people using harm programmes. The purpose of this role is to deliver sessions that support a young person and their parents/carers to address and change their harmful behaviour, ensuring they develop their understanding of abuse, as well as its impact on others. About you
You’ll be confident in delivering programmes to children, young people and their parents/carers, assessing and managing dynamics in 121 and group formats. You’ll have experience in gaining young people’s trust and you’ll be confident addressing challenging and harmful behaviour. You’ll have direct experience of working therapeutically with a client group. You will also have experience of managing safeguarding issues.

- Shape and oversee the visual tone and identity of Muslim Aid’s video output.
- Work closely with senior management, fundraising, and programme teams to identify stories, campaigns, and opportunities for impactful video.
- Storyboard and record video content including needs assessments, thematical impact stories, staff/donor deployments, and fundraising challenges.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Fundraising teams to develop video strategies aligned with business goals.
- Support the day-to-day running of the video editing team, providing mentoring and technical guidance.
- Ensure all content is high-quality, audience-appropriate, and delivered at pace.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, ideally in a marketing or non-profit environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior editors or freelancers.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, especially social media, and how to optimise video for each.
- Strong skills in video production, editing, and storytelling.
- Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a Cook to provide our residents with a daily lunch. You will contribute to food safety and hygiene, and accurate record keeping. A hands-on approach will be required - performing a range of duties including meal preparation, cooking, serving, cleaning and general duties following the meal service.
You will work with colleagues to ensure the kitchen is suitably staffed, which may mean working extra or altered shifts. We offer a generous pension scheme, annual leave and a health benefits package.
Salary: £12.86 per hour (£12.99 per hour at weekends) plus Pension.
24 hours per week, including weekend work and Bank Holidays, worked across a two-week rota.
(Week 1: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
(Week 2: Monday/Wednesday and Saturday/Sunday - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
