MiD Mediation and Counselling is looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to be responsible for leadership and management of the service and be accountable to the Board of Trustees. 

This independent charity is a family mediation and counselling service which supports couples and children before, during and after divorce or separation.  We are affiliated to National Family Mediation and the Family Mediation Council and hold a Legal Aid Agency contract for publicly funded family mediation.

The successful candidate will need extensive experience of income generation, marketing, organisational and people management plus a strong track record of strategic leadership and planning.

We're looking for a Partnership Development Manager to lead and grow some of our highest value partnerships. You will manage a talented team and help shape the strategy to drive our success. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Accountability for delivering income through our high-value partners while driving partnership development and ensuring an excellent supporter experience.

· Set ambitious, strategic goals to grow and retain our highest-value partnerships. You will do this by setting and delivering robust engagement and retention programmes for these partnerships. 

· Gain and maintain the buy-in of internal stakeholders (including the Senior Leadership Team), who will be crucial to the delivery and growth of our partnerships.

· Maximise the use of ARUK’s networks, including trustees, senior volunteers, and staff, to develop effective relationships with partner companies.

· Develop and maintain knowledge of ARUK’s activities to enable you to deliver compelling presentations to corporate supporters, manage high-level meetings, and confidently represent ARUK and our work independently.

· Effectively recognise appropriate opportunities to cross-sell with the aim of increasing engagement with the wider charity. With particular attention to gifts-in-wills fundraising, which is a strategic priority for the charity.

· Understand our partner's business objectives, people, strategic direction, and objectives.

· Collaborate across the department to ensure corporate partners participate in multiple ARUK fundraising products and propositions.

· Ensure accurate and timely recording of corporate donations, activities, and communications.  Making sure that records are accurately maintained, and information is kept up to date on our database.

· Ensure we have necessary legal agreements in place.

Strategy, finance, and reporting

· Work with the Senior Partnership Development Manager (SPDM) to plan, implement, and deliver the Corporate Team strategy. You will be responsible for the operational performance of the team.

· Communicate this strategy and drive fundraising at all levels.

· Ensure all activity and use of team resources are focused on taking Alzheimer’s Research UK towards a cure. This means activity should align with our ten-year strategy and organisational priorities.

· Manage annual income, expenditure budgets and targets for corporate partnerships alongside the SPDM. Prepare income projections and monitor income and expenditure, as well as developing measurable KPIs that translate into tangible partnership benefits.

· Ensure effective reporting of wider partnership impact specifically non-financial benefits.

Leading the team

· Empower the team to provide sector leading customer service to our corporate partners to grow all partnerships to support ARUK’s strategic priorities.

· Drive the success of the team through effective and inspiring leadership to ensure a highly motivated team that achieves or exceeds targets agreed with the SPDM and Head of Corporate Partnerships.

· Ensure the highest quality tools and resources are available to our team for maximum engagement.

· Support the Regional Partnership Development Manager to provide training, resources, advice and guidance to our Regional Fundraising Officers and Central Fundraising Team who manage relationships with local corporate partners. 

· Line manages a Senior Officer who also manages our team assistant, including one-to-one meetings, annual and quarterly appraisal meetings, training, support, and career development discussions. 

· Coach the team, driving a culture of excellence and accountability.

· Liaise with HR and the SPDM on the recruitment and development of the team.

· Ensure good communication across the Directorate and particularly effective collaboration with the New Business and Regional Fundraising teams.

· Ensure good communication about our partnerships with staff, both within and outside the team.

Communications

· Ensure your team maintains a good understanding of the new business pipeline to plan resources accordingly.

· Grow and develop strong relationships between the Partnership Development team and the wider Corporate Team. 

· Liaise and work with the Communications team to produce accurate and timely reports and applications.

· Work closely with the Chief Executive’s office to ensure effective communication with our high-level stakeholders within key partnerships.

· Stay up to date with ARUK’s research and other news to be able to communicate effectively with supporters, disseminating the charity’s key messages both among the team and to key supporters.

· Communicate the work of the team and updates on corporate partner activities through attending relevant meetings and completing monthly reports.

· Leverage social media and networking platforms to deliver the charity’s engagement and education objectives, whilst also attracting and identifying new partnership opportunities.

What we are looking for:

· Excellent partnership development and relationship management skills in either a charity or corporate role.  Preferably managing six-figure charitable partnerships.

· Building and growing high-level relationships through networking, negotiation, and influence both internally and externally. 

· Ability to manage income and expenditure budgets.

· Good planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

· Confidence working with computers; knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to corporate audiences.

· Ability to independently manage projects from beginning to end.

· Experience managing a team.

· You work well as part of a team but are proactive and can work independently.

· A confident and friendly manner; would feel at ease representing the charity to high-level external contacts.

· Creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness to identify opportunities within partnerships and develop tailored fundraising ideas and initiatives.

· Willingness and ability to travel independently in the UK and to work outside of regular office hours when needed.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Research (under supervision of the Head of Insight & Advocacy): 

• Support the design, planning, and delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead ProVeg UK in this next phase of growth and impact. This role combines strategic leadership with high-level stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and organisational development. The ideal candidate brings entrepreneurial energy, exceptional communication skills, strong credentials in the UK NGO sector, and a passion for food systems transformation.

ProVeg UK has a very strong track record in influencing public food through its School Plates programme, which has, to date, swapped over 47m meals from meat-based to plant-based or veggie. We work in over 8,000 schools across the UK, reaching over 1.3 million children every day. We are keen to expand this excellent work to a wider range of stakeholders, including hospitals (a new manager has just been recruited to develop a Hospital Plates pilot), policymakers, the corporate sector and media. 

The Executive Director will be at the forefront of this expansion, while also ensuring the continued success of our existing programmes. As such, this is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change in the UK’s plant-based and alternative protein movement — helping to shape a more sustainable future.

Qualifications

Essential

• Proven leadership experience (5+ years at deputy- or C-level)  in a UK-based NGO or mission-driven organisation, ideally in food, climate, or health sectors
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and partnership building, especially with foundations, governments, or climate philanthropies
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to develop and execute impactful strategies
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience speaking to media and government bodies, at public events, and with internal stakeholders of all levels (Board, Senior Leadership Team, Staff and Volunteers)
• Deep understanding of UK funding landscape, policy environment, and relevant NGOs 
• Experience leading diverse and remote teams, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style
• Commitment to ProVeg’s mission and values, and strong alignment with our strategic goals
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams

Severn & Wye Nature is an alliance of 14 environmental NGOs working across the Severn, Wye and Warwickshire Avon river catchments. As part of a major nature recovery initiative, we’re working to restore wetlands, create new woodlands and restore floodplain meadows. We partner with farmers, environmental experts and businesses to deliver shared goals for nature across a vast and changing landscape. 

Following a two-year development phase, we are now ready to move into delivery, building strategic nature recovery programmes across the catchment, and securing investment from public and private sector organisations at a level that will transform the scale of our collective impact.

About you 

We need an experienced, capable programme manager to lead and develop this ambitious partnership. You will require clarity of strategic thinking, excellent relationship and partnership management skills, substantial business planning experience, and very strong organisational skills. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about nature and who will inspire and support partners across the region to enable its recovery at scale. 

About the job 

This is a two year fixed-term contract but could be extended if progress is good.  We are offering a salary of £41-45k, depending on your skills, 25 days annual leave increasing to 30, a 7% pension contribution and a range of other benefits. The location is flexible within the region, and an element of remote working is expected.

The RSPB Finance Director role is a crucially important role for RSPB, reporting to the Executive Director for Finance, Governance and Strategy, and a part of the RSPB's senior leadership group.

What's the role about?

This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to:

• Drive the Finance department across all areas, including financial operations and budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide advice and support to the wider Finance, Governance and Strategy Directorate, Board, and other senior leaders on finance-related matters with a focus on strategy implementation.
• Engage with the Finance Committee and Audit and Risk Committee, leading on all financial matters.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (UK-recognised qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Successful track record of inspiring, managing, and delivering large scale organisation-wide projects
• Demonstrable track record in the successful leadership and management of a Finance team in a multi-faceted and geographically dispersed organisation
• Successful track record in developing excellent working relationships between internal directorates and external stakeholders
• Experience of both internal and external financial reporting and the related regulatory environment in the charity sector
• Experience of control systems that manage risk effectively and provide assurance on the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of the main direct and indirect tax frameworks related to the charity sector
• Experience in creating and communicating a compelling vision for directing and motivating the Finance team

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Investment management experience

Please note this is a remote working role that can be conducted flexibly within the UK, however the successful candidate will be expected to travel to RSPB offices (including The Lodge in Sandy, Bedfordshire) on a monthly basis.

As a Mental Health Care Navigator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with SMI to reconnect with their communities, addressing barriers such as social isolation, cost of living, debt, and physical inactivity. You will provide personalised, strengths-based support, helping people set and achieve wellbeing goals, and link them to local community groups and services. The role also involves building partnerships with VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise) organisations and statutory agencies, ensuring safe and effective referrals, and supporting the development of an alliance of mental health support providers across the city.

This role sits within the Mission and Evangelism Directorate. The role will seek to develop our safeguarding culture and practice. The Safeguarding Lead will work with individuals across all of Church Army including our employees, Commissioned Evangelists, and Mission Community. The Safeguarding Lead is the first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns or allegations and is responsible for ensuring the organisation responds in a trauma-informed manner as well as in line with the standards and expectations set out. The post holder will have had experience of managing organisational risks in relation to safeguarding and be familiar with the guidance set by the National Safeguarding Team for Religious Communities.

Our Youth and Play Workers will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. In this role you will be part of a small and dynamic team which delivers a wide range of programmes and activities, both from Tulse Hill Adventure Playground and within local schools. The work of the Children, Young People and Families team is diverse and varied. Our current services include open access adventure play and youth activities at our Adventure Playground, school holiday programmes with off-site trips and activities, coaching in local schools, a Young Leaders programme offering paid work experience to young people, and working together with our youth partnerships Building Young Brixton and Lambeth Peer Action Collective.

We are experiencing an exciting time of development for the team and are currently looking to recruit four Youth and Play Workers. To support our range of children and young people, our team will be made up of specialist Youth Workers and Play Workers bringing in relevant skills and experience. Whilst you will work across all of our Children, Young People and Families services you will have a specific focus:

As a Youth Worker you will:
• Focus on supporting our secondary age cohort
• Plan and run appropriate activities
• Provide structured interventions to support vulnerable young people

About the Degrees Initiative  

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.  

Degrees’ programmatic work is centred on capacity-building through research grants and North–South and South-South collaboration schemes, outreach activities, and cross-cutting community-building. As part of this, Degrees runs workshops in the Global South that bring new voices into the SRM conversation, and our research funds support scientists and other experts in developing countries as they research what SRM could mean for their regions and become part of a global research community.
