Purpose of the role:

Back Up courses are a vital part of what we do and have been transforming lives for almost 30 years. You will play a critical role in making this fantastic service work as well as supporting the wider team.

You will be the main support and liaison for participants, buddies and care team volunteers, ensuring that everyone feels supported and knows what to expect. You will ensure courses run smoothly and effectively through an effective, efficient administration service.

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you 
You will: 

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances 

• Have experience working with people affected by substance misuse 

• Have lived experience of hepatitis C, or experience supporting someone who has 

• Be reliable, compassionate, and well organised 

• Have good communication skills 

• Hold a clean driving licence (essential) 

What you’ll do 

• Recruit and support volunteer peers 

• Work with NHS hepatitis C teams, drug and alcohol services, and homelessness services 

• Coordinate education sessions and community-based hepatitis C testing 

• Support people into hepatitis C treatment and ongoing care

Finance Manager / Financial Accountant (Charity) – GWT
Full-time or Part-time (28 hours)

Join Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) and use your finance skills to support nature’s recovery across Gloucestershire. We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Accountant to lead the day-to-day running of our finance function. This is a hands-on role overseeing transactional finance and payroll, strengthening financial controls, and improving board reporting — with line management responsibility for two Finance Officers.

What you’ll be doing

• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, credit control, banking, journals, payment runs, month-end routines)

What we’re looking for

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a dynamic, leading relationships charity based in Greater Manchester and we are looking for a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker (Thriving Families), to deliver tailored perpetrator interventions within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role
This role will work collaboratively within Manchester City Council’s multi-disciplinary Thriving Families Team, to support families where children are open to Child Protection or Child In Need Plans. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will engage directly with adults responsible for causing harm, aiming to increase perpetrator accountability and encourage positive change. Through one-on-one tailored interventions, the goal is to reduce risk to both victims and children, while enhancing the perpetrator's willingness to alter harmful behaviours.  The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work collaboratively with the Thriving Families Team and other agencies, ensuring a multi-agency, whole family approach. Additionally, the worker liaises with victim/survivor services to assess risks, formulate safety plans to secure better outcomes for those impacted by domestic abuse.

About you

You’ll be confident in delivering direct work with those who use harm. This will include completing comprehensive assessments of risk and need to deliver tailored interventions. You’ll have direct experience of working therapeutically with a client group and be confident in addressing challenging and harmful behaviour. You will have experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.

Above all you will have the ability to build positive relationships with difficult to engage client groups, and you’ll bring a positive, solution focus attitude. We’d also love to hear from applicants who are fluent in speaking an additional language.

Last year, our swimmers raised over £1m. This year we’ve sold out events in minutes and want to double the fundraising. We’re on the path to exponential growth and we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. This role owns marketing as a growth engine. Drive growth marketing that converts

• Own end-to-end marketing for our events portfolio: from launch campaigns to sell-out.

• Build and execute multi-channel campaigns across social, email, paid ads, PR, partnerships, and whatever else works.

• Test everything. Audiences, messages, creative, channels. Find what works, double down, and scale it.

• Use data to spot opportunities: which channels are converting? Where are we leaving growth on the table? What could we do differently?

• Manage our digital advertising and paid social strategy with a ruthless focus on ROI.

• Grow our email database and social audiences with intent, not just for vanity metrics.

• Be trusted to repeatedly turn £1 into £5 or £10. 

• Define and unleash our audiences: help them share their stories in a way that turns experiences into future sales, and makes everything that Level Water does easier.

• Build and manage our captain and ambassador programmes as genuine growth engines - nurturing relationships, setting expectations, and turning influence into measurable impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and well organised individual to join our vibrant central team and raise vital funds for the individuals we support. 

It is our vision that adults with learning disabilities are valued as leaders and peers and are supported to achieve their goals and live life to the full. The role of the Trust Fundraiser is essential in building our capacity to ensure the delivery of our vision.

The Trust Fundraiser will work with the CEO in developing a high quality fundraising strategy and raising funds against agreed targets that support the work of Orchard Vale Trust. They will use this to manage projects - from application of funding to delivery, including on-going evaluation and reporting.

They will work with the senior management team to ensure service users are supported in accordance with the ethos, policies and practices of Orchard Vale Trust and with current best practice as set out by Care Quality Commissions (CQC) regulations, the Charity Commission and other relevant legislation and guidance.

A Senior Sous Chef position is needed to assist the Executive head chef in the everyday running and organising of the kitchen and to line manage assistant chefs and kitchen porters. Menu planning, food ordering, stock control, and event delivery.

This role is a fixed-term contract for one year, and the prospective post-holder is expected to commence in the role by April.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all the Lambeth Palace kitchen team are fully trained in the food safety management systems and procedures, implemented by the Executive Head Chef.

Survivors in Transition has supported survivors of sexual violence and abuse for over a decade. We provide specialist recovery services across the East of England, working alongside statutory and voluntary partners to ensure survivors receive safe, compassionate and effective support.

We are looking for a Sexual Violence Caseworker / Practitioner to join our Navigation and Engagement Service.

This role sits at the front door of our service, supporting adult survivors of sexual violence and historic child sexual abuse as they take their first steps towards recovery.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager and Writer to join our dynamic Business Development Team. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that will play a key part in driving organisational growth, securing new opportunities, and retaining existing contracts. Working closely with senior colleagues and internal stakeholders, you will develop strong, persuasive bids and proposals that meet financial targets and organisational objectives. While you will work independently on bids, you will also be an integral part of the wider Bid and Business Development teams, supporting colleagues and collaborating with subject matter experts as required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the development and submission of competitive bids, ensuring all are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and internal teams to secure necessary approvals and sign-off for bids and budgets.
• Produce high-quality, engaging proposals that clearly articulate SIG’s vision, services, and value to commissioners and funders.

Someone with previous experience writing bids and/or proposals, securing new or existing contracts. We're looking for an effective communicator, with a high attention to detail and quality. • Proven experience in bid writing and bid management, with a track record of securing new contracts and retaining existing ones.

About the Role

The Supervising Solicitor – Legal Aid is a key role in shaping and strengthening Release’s legal services. Working closely with the Joint Head of Legal Services and Executive Director, and in collaboration with other colleagues, you will supervise the delivery of high-quality legal advice and representation, supporting the growth of legal aid practice whilst ensuring Release continues to train and develop social justice lawyers for the future.

Location: Based within a non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
