ABOUT THE ROLE

Team: Delivery/ Infrastructure

As an Engineer at Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (WWCT) you will be responsible for creating clear and accurate technical work. You will use your professional skills and experience to complete tasks with minimal supervision. The work plays a key role in delivering complex projects that support WWCT’s mission to provide high‑quality and sustainable infrastructure.

You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team which includes designers, engineers, technicians and other specialists. Together, they deliver projects and programmes that support the Trust’s strategic priorities.

In this role, you will use your recognised technical knowledge, apply practical and creative problem‑solving, and produce reliable technical outputs. You will work closely with colleagues across different disciplines and contribute to solutions that help improve places for people to walk, wheel and cycle. Your contribution is important to creating sustainable and accessible transport networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage straightforward projects from start to finish through all RIBA stages.
• Use  technical expertise to produce accurate and reliable project outputs and deliverables.
• Engage with internal colleagues, external partners, regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders during project delivery.
• Contribute to business development activities by preparing agreed project proposals.

• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or another relevant and clearly demonstrated specialism, with at least two years of experience. OR five years of work experience in a relevant role.
• Competence in using design software that is appropriate for the role, eg AutoCAD suite including Civil 3D and other packages.
• A working understanding of guidance and good practice in healthy street design, including inclusive design principles and a holistic approach to creating places.
• A working understanding of health and safety management, including how to apply the CDM Regulations.
• The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.

 10 Windsor Walk (10WW) is a Community Interest Company established by local therapists concerned to address the provision of intensive psychological services for those most in need.

We support psychoanalysts, psychotherapists and the local community by providing psychotherapy treatment rooms and space for training and events related to developing psychological services.

More than this, we are a hub where therapists and psychoanalysts can meet, work together and exchange ideas on developing the practice as a whole.

Our work includes:

Affordable treatment – We run low- and no-fee psychotherapy for those in need in the local community, alongside trainees from the Institute of Psychoanalysis who offer low-fee psychoanalysis.

Community programmes – We run a weekly therapeutic playgroup for parents and toddlers seeking sanctuary in South London, alongside public events such as the Psychoanalytic Film Club and Maudsley Lectures.

Education and training – We host lectures, seminars and specialist training for psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, NHS staff and the wider public.

About the role:

We are seeking a part-time Finance Officer to support the financial management of the organisation and strengthen our internal financial systems.

Working closely with the Programme Manager and Finance Sub-Committee, the Finance Officer will maintain accurate financial records, support grant reporting and provide financial information to support organisational planning and governance.

This role is particularly suited to someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a small mission-driven organisation and contributing to the development of robust financial systems.

Summary of tasks:

·Day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of Xero

·Managing payments

·Reconciling bank transactions and maintaining accurate financial records

·Maintaining clear financial records and audit trails to support internal controls and financial transparency

·Producing and releasing sales invoices

·Submitting monthly payroll info to accountant, including HMRC and pension submissions

·Preparing and posting monthly journals ahead of review by the Programme Manager and Finance Sub-Committee

·Maintaining prepayments and accruals

·Tracking and monitoring grant income and expenditure, and preparing financial reports and information for existing and future funders

·Updating and maintaining cashflow forecasts

·Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants

·Maintaining the fixed assets register and depreciation schedules

·Support the review of the Reserves Policy

·Monitoring liquidity and key financial indicators and reporting concerns to the Programme Manager and Finance Sub-Committee

We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.

We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. We want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to walk and wheel more.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as our Project Coordinator in the West of England Combined Authority and in the North East Combined Authority, England.

The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the Walk To School Outreach (WTSO) project and acting as a key contact for our delivery partners, liaising with schools and/or any other stakeholders, as appropriate. You will work with schools across your assigned region in England. You will occasionally be required on site and will therefore live within a reasonable distance for travel via public transport.

You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the project achieves its behaviour change aims, as agreed by the funder. This includes but is not limited to recruiting schools onto the project, keeping schools engaged and actively participating, organising the distribution of resources, behaviour change activities, and keeping monitoring and record keeping systems up to date. You will also support the project aims of identifying and recommending improvements, to overcome barriers to walking to school.

This will be a varied role and an ability to embrace a diversity of tasks is essential.

ABOUT YOU

• You have either a Level 3 qualification (or an equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject, such as Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or another relevant specialism that you can clearly demonstrate or at least 3 years of work experience in a relevant role.

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a thriving charity (annual income circa £1.1m, with 29 paid staff) providing volunteering infrastructure to the voluntary sector across the City of London and the London borough of Hackney. We support over 1500 residents a year to realise their skills and passions through volunteering and social action, and to share these for the benefit of others. This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in a small to medium sized charity environment. You will have autonomy to develop a whole new fundraising strategy, utilising diverse fundraising methods, and building and developing new project ideas and partnerships. Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank is looking for a warm, motivated Community Outreach Caseworker to join our team in Richmond, working alongside people facing some of life's toughest challenges.

This is a brand new role, created as part of our Five-Year Strategy, and it's an opportunity to shape something from the ground up. You'll carry out guest assessments and triage, develop personalised support plans, and work with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental ill health, financial hardship, addiction, and more - connecting them with the right support and walking alongside them on their journey toward stability and hope.

Based at our community centre in the heart of Richmond (a short walk from the train and bus stations), you'll also travel across the borough to our Foodbank satellite sites. Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. The post holder should combine strategic leadership with hands on service design and development expertise, ensuring the national offer becomes the charity’s returning home service in line with the new strategy for 2026-2029. Newly designed services will deliver high-quality, compassionate support and that are well designed, evidence-based and responsive to the real world needs of people with serious and life-changing injury. Working closely with the Head of Lived Experience, to ensure lived experience insight is central to all design and implementation, and that new pathways complement Day One’s existing Peer Support model.
