Main responsibilities will include:
Administration
- Be responsible for securing contracts by confirming booking information and working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy to ensure freelance trainer contracts and Service Agreements are in place
- Oversee the general administration of all APD functions including responding to customer queries and feedback
- Process course bookings made via Thinkific and other platforms, ensuring all requirements are noted and passed on appropriately

- Ensure effective contribution of accurate and timely data required by Artswork and its funders / stakeholders
Finance
- Be responsible for APD budgets including raising sales invoices, reconciling payments and managing deferred income
- Follow anti-money laundering procedures to ensure APD sales are compliant with legislation
- Ensure all finance and operations processes and procedures are rigorously implemented in collaboration with the Finance & Operations team
- Produce budget forecasts for APD and provide monthly updates on current financial position to the Deputy CEO and Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy
- Chase debtors and regularly report any overdue payments to the Finance team
Strategy
- Contribute to the APD growth strategy through ideas and practical solutions
- Work with the APD team and Deputy CEO in the development of new programmes, routes to market and audience development
Communications
- Help to maintain strong communication channels with all partner organisations and customers
- Provide administrative support in developing regional networks, contacts and partners
- Assist with the engagement of employers and partners for projects and programmes
Administration and Legal Compliance
- Maintain positive professional relationships with our participants, partners and stakeholders •

About EFA
English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English language classes (ESOL) for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 500 adult migrants across London. Job Purpose:
The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Care:
- To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.
- Respond to enquiries from supporters, prospective supporters and volunteers via telephone, e-mail, and post, maintaining excellent supporter relations.
- Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.
- To adhere to administrative procedures to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service which is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Provide admin support for Direct Mail letters and appeals, including the use of mail merge, when required.
- Assist with the ongoing stewardship of Regular Givers.
Community Fundraising:
- Co-ordinate the recruitment and appropriate use of volunteers to support fundraising.
- Develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, with the aim of maximising the funds they raise through challenges, events and talks.
- Support the formation of volunteer fundraising groups.
- Support ongoing and new events within the UK, which may include occasional weekend and evening work.
- Take the lead with the co-ordination and administration of public collections in the UK.
- Take the lead in monitoring fundraising merchandise, and liaise with suppliers, for fundraising materials, including Christmas Cards.
Digital Marketing:
- Support in developing UK digital fundraising opportunities.
- Administer digital acquisition campaigns in the UK e.g. through digital advertising, to generate new donors.
Database Management (Training will be provided):
- Create and maintain contact records on Salesforce, ensuring supporter information is kept up to date by recording changes to mailing preferences, gift aid eligibility and contact details etc.
- Database maintenance and housekeeping e.g. identifying and merging duplicate records, removing, or archiving redundant data, adhering to GDPR protocols.
Finance Administration (Training will be provided):
- Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
- Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
- Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
- Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
- Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
- Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
- Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.
General Office Administration:
- Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
- Co-ordinate general office maintenance, as required.
- Arrange accommodation for staff travel to Shrewsbury.

- Recruit, support, train and encourage local volunteers from the host parish and across the deanery to grow mission and ministry with children and their families - particularly with those not yet engaged in their local church community.
- Develop and resource a youth group in the local parish church, and a Messy Church worshipping community.
- Bring to life new volunteer-led initiatives for engaging children and their families with their local church community.
- Catalyse the launch and ongoing development of a new intergenerational worshipping community in the wider deanery, with support from an existing Children and Families Mission Enabler (CFME) and local stakeholders.

About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service will provide services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by managing volunteers, promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.
As an Engagement Officer you will be responsible for:
- Recruiting and managing a diverse team of volunteers including Criminal Justice Champions (CJCs)
- Promoting the work of the service through events and presentations
- Providing training and awareness sessions to partner agencies including Humberside Police
- Maintaining and developing our online presence including updating website information and controlling our social media accounts
- Income generation and identifying fundraising opportunities
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is motivated, engaging and innovative. You will play an integral part in developing and embedding our Criminal Justice Champion (CJC) and Victim Friendly Organisation (VFO) programmes across Humberside to ensure that victims have a voice within the criminal justice system and organisations are promoting victim's rights and voices.
You will attend events, network with other agencies and develop and deliver presentations to both internal and external colleagues, community groups and other identified audiences. This means that although the role is home-based, regular travel is required within Humberside and occasionally across the wider region.
