About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Individual Giving Team for a nine month secondment as Individual Giving Manager managing our regular giving programme. 
Regular giving at Alzheimer’s Society is growing year on year with an ambitious target of £8.5M for 2024/25. In this role you’ll get the opportunity to lead a high performing team of two, working across all regular giving campaigns including face to face fundraising, telemarketing, payroll giving, digital and SMS. You’ll provide strategic direction to the team and manage the significant expenditure budget, assessing and optimising spend to give the best value to Alzheimer’s Society and make the best investment to grow regular giving. 

There are lots of exciting projects coming up in regular giving including launching a test of door-to-door fundraising and our new Membership product which has shown great results in initial testing. You’ll also be building strong relationships with our new agency partners for 2024/25.

This role also gives the opportunity to network and work closely with teams across the organisation including data, events, supporter experience and procurement. 

You will be an excellent relationship builder, confident working with external agencies and creating successful partnerships as well as building relationships internally with stakeholders across the organisation.

You will be confident managing large income and expenditure budgets, reforecasting as needed and reporting on changes to the Cause Senior Manager and Finance Business Partner. 
 
About you

- Understanding of the key channels for regular giving, particularly face to face and telemarketing
- Excellent relationship building skills, able to work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to build strong partnerships
- Confident having difficult conversations with agencies about performance and expectations
- A leader, able to set direction for the team, problem solve and provide encouragement and motivation
- Very strong budget management, experience of managing large budgets. Confident reforecasting and managing budget changes
- Date led – you will be able to work closely with the data team to analyse current results and make recommendations for future campaigns. 

Person Specification

- Verbal and written communication skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/knowledge on using Microsoft packages.
- Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
- Advocate for Alzheimer’s Society, demonstrating passion and resilience to make a difference.
- Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
