Off the table is a campaign asking chefs, diners and food lovers to stop serving and eating farmed salmon.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting Our Community Outreach:
• Helping with the day-to-day admin that comes from our Off the table stakeholder outreach and community mobilisation efforts
• Support with planning, organising and running engaging events that bring people together to progress our campaigns

Your Daily Tasks Will Include:

• Campaign Administration: Managing email inquiries with care and maintaining our OTT directory and CRM systems
• Event Support: Handling the planning and logistics for both online and in-person events
• Community Connection: Reaching out to hospitality sector partners and community activists; social media community management,
• Desk-based research to identify chefs and restaurants to join the campaign
• Supporting WildFish with its broader campaigns and goals

Birmingham City FC Foundation has won a 4 year National Lottery funded project entitled ‘Blues Go Green’.  This exciting project is delivered in partnership with Dream Chasers CIC, Birmingham Voluntary Services Council and The Good Work Co-operative.  ‘Blues Go Green’ will engage the collective footprint of Birmingham City FC and the Foundation, working with partners to reduce climate emissions and increase environmental justice through solution driven change. 

 

The role

Working closely with Birmingham City FC, partners and other Foundation members you will lead the ‘Blues Go Green’ project and team in delivering an exciting, innovative and compelling change programme.  The project will target people previously excluded from Climate Projects, helping them develop a greater understanding of how their daily actions can positively impact climate and our environment.

Leading a small team to deliver the full scope of ‘Blues Go Green’ with Birmingham City FC, Official Supporters Group, Partners, Schools and more.  Developing and delivering an ambitious multifaceted project to get the widest possible scope and impact of all that ‘Blues Go Green’ can be.

The Team

Birmingham City FC Foundation is growing.  The Foundation team are passionate about working together to make change happen.  The role is part of the Foundation Management team and will have 2 direct reports and 1 indirect report, however it will need to harness the skills and knowledge of the whole team in delivering Blues Go Green.

The Person

As a strong influencer and team player, you will be delivering an exciting project that will leave a legacy for years to come. You must have a project management mindset and experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management.  You will be able to demonstrate not only the results of successful projects but also your leadership style and how it gets those results. You will be an ambassador not only for the Foundation but also for Birmingham City FC with strategic partners and groups throughout the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate project planning and delivery skills including successful examples of having designed, implemented and delivered large-scale projects. have experience of successful partnership work and a clear aptitude for building strong positive relationships. Experience of environmental sustainability organisations or projects would be advantageous but not essential.  You are known for your professionalism, influence, flexibility and positive attitude.

SHAK (South Hampstead and Kilburn Community Partnership) is a resident led charity based on the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate in the Kilburn Ward of Camden, London, dedicated to supporting residents and young people living in an area of high deprivation.

If successful you will be based at “The ARC Youth Club”, an estate based youth led centre with integrated music studio, kitchen, games and "chill-out" space. The ARC engages approximately 250 young people per year and plays a vital role in their welfare and development outside of school. In holidays we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people who may otherwise miss out. 

You will deliver a range of activities e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, sports, trips, music, events etc. You will also offer support and guidance for local young people and enable them to develop life long skills while designing and running their own projects, forums etc. In school holidays you will be required to work an expected 28 hrs a week as we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people

Job Responsibilities:

Management of project finance team (x4)
Prepare budgets and reforecasts in line with

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead NatureCityNorwich – a three-year multi-partner project supported through Nature Towns and Cities, a programme funded by National Lottery players to help urban areas protect and enhance their natural heritage.

The project will co-create a community-led urban nature recovery action plan, placing nature and people at the heart of Norwich’s future. It will map and address the city’s ‘nature gaps’, improve access to green and blue spaces, and empower communities to shape a more resilient, biodiverse and inclusive city.

You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating, managing, and overseeing all aspects of NatureCityNorwich – from setting up effective governance to ensuring workstreams are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

You’ll work closely with partners including Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk and Broadland District Council and other key stakeholders to create a lasting legacy for nature in the city.

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent communicator with strong project management skills, the ability to build effective working relationships and a passion for nature’s recovery.

Are you a driven and confident person, who relishes the challenge of working with local communities and groups who seldom seek support.  We are looking for a person who is determined to make a difference to the lives of people living with dementia across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

You will be experienced in engaging and working with communities and a confident communicator with the ability to network with people across all levels.  You will be able to deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions, working collaboratively with both internal and external colleagues.

You will cover the following areas:

- East Lancashire – Burnley, Blackburn, Darwen, Rossendale, Hyndburn, Pendle and Ribble Valley
- Central Lancashire – Preston, Chorley and Ormskirk
- North Lancashire – Lancaster, Blackpool and Fylde and Wyre
- South Lancashire – Kendall and Barrow-In-Furness

You will be able to manage your own projects and a small team of community volunteers, prioritising as you go. Whilst this is a homeworking role the majority of your time will be working out within the community and you will be required to regularly travel across Lancashire and South Cumbria. You must live within the Lancashire and South Cumbria area.

What you’ll focus on:

- Identify, engage, build and nurture relations with key stakeholders and influencers in each local community to ensure that dementia is a local priority.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the issues that prevent communities from engaging in dementia services and supporting the development of services to make them as inclusive as possible
- Develop and deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions that make a positive impact for people living with dementia in their community.
- Recruitment and management of community volunteers to enhance and extend the reach of dementia services.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated High-Value Giving Officer to join their successful and growing Development & Alumni Relations team. You will lead on cultivating, stewarding, and securing major philanthropic support from Old Members and friends of the College, with a particular focus on legacy gifts of £25,000 and above.

Your Focus

• Lead Relationship Manager for a growing group of high-value donors and prospects, serving as their key point of contact within the College.
• Design and implement bespoke stewardship strategies that engage, inspire and recognise major donors—ensuring they feel a deep, personal connection to Queen’s.
• Take ownership of the Taberdars’ Society, the College’s long-standing donor recognition group and help evolve its role to celebrate both existing and future high-value supporters.

• Collaborate with the wider Old Members’ Office to ensure a joined-up approach to donor cultivation, stewardship, and communications.

Role description:

We are seeking a technically excellent management accountant to play a central role in the finance team at this young and vibrant charity, preparing monthly management information to aid business decisions, and undertaking project work as requested.

Main Responsibilities:

Management Accounts preparation

• Account for accrued income and expenditure, including:

           - Accrued legacy income

           - Accrued trust income

          - Other accrued income

          - Accrued grant expenditure

          - Normal accruals and prepayments

• Reconcile all control accounts regularly
• Prepare and post journals as required
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including restricted and unrestricted reserves

Record keeping

• Contribute to the proper maintenance of book keeping records where necessary, to comply with statutory, financial and GDPR regulations
• Assist in gathering documentation for audit, ensuring necessary information is organised and available
• Assist in year-end statutory accounts preparation
• Ensure that all relevant finance processes and systems are adhered to

Other

• Liaise with fundraising team to assist in reconciliation of finance software to fundraising CRM software
• Produce ad-hoc reports as required
• Complete government and other surveys as required
