This role will be working on expanding our digital presence, creating content in line with our brand guidelines, and ultimately showcasing the scope of what the Students' Union offers for students.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Produce graphics for our website, email comms, screens and social media channels.
2. Support delivery of agreed annual communications plans, as well as supporting the development of in-year comms with the internal staff team when required, ensuring content is in line with the SU brand and strategy.
3. Working with the Senior Brand and Communications Coordinator to ensure our communications campaigns are strong and collaborative.
4. Support development of UNSU’s brand and presence across all of our physical sites, and our physical and digital assets, ensuring our brand becomes a trusted and valued partner to our members and the University.
5. Work with the Students’ Union Staff to develop our member's understanding of the Union, its elected officers and how our democratic functions work. 
6. Develop a strong relationship within the Students’ Union with staff, officers and volunteers.

Build on your Charity Career with this Activity based role

This is a part-time role of 3 days per week in a well-established charity based in Twickenham. This role would really suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid and family adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As the Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you will directly deliver our leisure break activity and training programmes. You will plan, deliver, promote and review a programme of activities for adult carers, including outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. The core aim of the activity programme is to provide carers with a much needed break from their caring responsibilities, in a safe and social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.

Main Duties include:

• To coordinate and deliver an established activities programme for adult carers with the aim to provide them with a break from their caring role and socialise with other carers to help reduce their isolation.
• To coordinate and deliver a training workshop programme to provide carers with information and advice to support them with their caring role and opportunities to learn.
• To work with relevant professionals to deliver a programme of wellbeing activities, including yoga, Pilates and complementary therapies.
• To recruit, train, support and manage volunteers and paid sessional staff to contribute to the delivery of a selection of the activities and workshops.
• To research and continually develop the activities and training programmes to ensure it is responsive to carers needs.
• To create promotional material to promote activities and training opportunities to carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.
• To work with Adult Carers Support Team Leader to ensure activities are within budget, achieving targets and meeting the requirements of funders.

About the role

At EngineeringUK we use evidence to make a real difference. Through research insight and robust evaluation, we work to improve the impact of our own work, as well as that of other organisations in our sector. Our aim is to make a positive difference to young people’s lives and securing the diverse engineering and technology workforce the UK needs to thrive. The research and evaluation team consists of 6 researchers and analysts who work to provide these insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop our evaluation projects, to help build an evidence-base for engineering and technology outreach activities and to shape how we use this evidence to inform our own and others’ practice.

With support from the Head of Evaluation and Impact, you will be the operational lead on our evaluations, with responsibility for:

• critically assessing the evidence required to ascertain impact of engineering and technology outreach activities across a complex landscape, with an emphasis on groups historically underrepresented in the engineering and technology professions
• designing and managing the evaluation of our educational programmes, including the practicalities and logistics of collecting/analysing these data, and reporting findings to internal and external stakeholders

We are delighted to be introducing the exciting new role of Deputy Chief Executive at Age UK York as we implement and work to realise our new strategy. It comes at a time our local York based charity is needed as much as ever in supporting Older People in tackling the daily challenges increasingly faced by us all as we age and realising the opportunities too in preparing for and enjoying later life.

As Deputy CEO you will work closely with our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), deputising for them where necessary, and will have responsibilities across the breadth of our charity including leadership, input to strategy development and its implementation, ensuring operational effectiveness, implementation of income generation initiatives, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be part of our Senior Leadership Team and working with our Board of Trustees.

You will be responsible for leading our range of community focussed services which together make a vital difference to the lives of thousands of older people in York each year as part of realising our vision and our role in tackling the challenges faced by too many older people, and those around them, each day across York.

Are you a brilliant and proactive communicator, with the skills to be on the phone stewarding a community fundraiser one day and plotting an email journey the next? Can you put people at the heart of your work, while supporting them to reach and exceed the fundraising goals they have set for themselves? Do you know, or are excited to learn, how to make a fundraising product brilliant? We are looking for a Community Fundraising Officer to join our Public Fundraising team to deliver our Facebook Challenges, build relationships with our wonderful fundraisers and help them raise as much money as possible for people with arthritis.

About the role

You will play a key part in developing and delivering our community fundraising strategy, making sure that anyone and everyone who wants to fundraise for people with arthritis has a great experience doing it. You will build strong relationships with supporters, be that as part of a golf club charity of the year partnership, workplace fundraising or supporting someone with a personal connection to arthritis to raise money in their local area. Developing, delivering and ultimately growing our Facebook challenges offer will be a huge focus – we have some great learnings and are now looking to take them to the next level. There will be plenty of opportunity to test and learn as part of this, and you will get the chance to learn and develop in the role too.

You will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, from marketing to product development to events, to make sure our products meet the needs of our supporters and that their journey through the organisation is seamless. You will join an ambitious, creative and passionate fundraising team who put people with arthritis and our supporters at the heart of our work.

About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Proven successful track record of planning and delivering community fundraising products (or similar) to achieve a good return on investment.
• Experience of delivering excellent supporter or customer stewardship through multi-channels and building relationships with a wide variety of supporters on the phone, in writing and face to face driving engagement, increasing income, and increasing supporter retention.  
• Experience to successfully and independently manage projects, delivering to pre-set deadlines, managing high workloads and ability to understand how and when to prioritise work. 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  
• Understanding of the Fundraising Code of Practice and ensuring all fundraisers are always following correct guidance.  
• Skilled at building excellent relationships with a wide range of people. 
  Understanding and prior experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) databases.

*As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings. As Head of Advice, you will shape the strategic direction of our advice services, ensuring they align with Sufra’s wider mission and are fully integrated into our food aid provision. We're currently looking for an Employability Manager to join our team at St. John's this September.

You'll lead the design and delivery of our college-wide employability programme, ensuring our autistic learners and those with additional needs are prepared for meaningful work opportunities. From developing enterprise projects and supporting our Supported Internship programme, to building partnerships with local employers, you'll play a key role in shaping aspirational outcomes for our learners.

You'll also manage a small team of Employability Coordinators, collaborate with curriculum and transitions staff, and embed employability across the learner journey—from skill-building to successful job placements.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with SEND learners in an educational or employment setting
• A strong understanding of inclusive employment and supported internship models
• Knowledge of the Gatsby benchmarks and Preparing for Adulthood framework
• Excellent partnership-building and project management skills
• Line management experience and a collaborative leadership style
