An exciting time to join us

YMCA England & Wales is launching its most ambitious fundraising goal yet: 10,000 new homes for young people by 2030. Working with local YMCAs, we will build accommodation across the country, helping young people move towards independence. This role sits at the heart of that ambition.

Our Corporate Partnerships team won multiple Corporate Engagement Awards in late 2025. The groundwork for our multi-year strategy was laid in early 2026, and the 10,000 Homes Fund is our flagship proposition. Now it’s time to deliver.

The career opportunity

We want a new business talent to grow our portfolio of corporate support. You will join our agile new business team and build the pipeline of partners who can accelerate our housing ambition. You will:

  • Identify and cultivate new corporate partners, prioritise prospects, plan focused outreach and develop bespoke propositions that connect corporate priorities with YMCA’s ambitions
  • Turn conversations with prospects into meaningful opportunities
  • Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and stretch yourself, with the space to take initiative alongside the support and guidance to help you succeed. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative team where ideas are encouraged and successes are shared
  • Maintain a well-qualified pipeline of new opportunities
  • Hand each partnership to Account Management, fully briefed for further growth

The role is London-based with hybrid working; you will be in the office on Tuesdays and ad hoc other days.

About you

You are energetic and ambitious, with experience of developing new business and building strong relationships with prospective partners. You are curious about what motivates businesses and confident turning insight into compelling propositions.

You are proactive, organised and commercially minded. You will own your prospects and have the autonomy to build relationships your own way, backed by the guidance of the Senior Fundraising Manager and a warm, collaborative team where ideas are encouraged.

Above all, you want to develop your new business expertise, work with exciting brands and secure partnerships that create transformational change for young people across England and Wales.

Why join us now

YMCA is the oldest and largest youth charity in the world. Our strategy is set, our proposition is proven and the results are already coming in. We need the talent to take this momentum to the next level.

Our recruitment process is anonymised and candidates' names are hidden. We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds. Safer recruitment is important to us and the successful applicant will be asked to provide two references. They will also be required to complete a safeguarding self-declaration, safeguarding training and undertake a DBS check.
