This is a role where we’ll be investing in your skills and development - you’ll play a key role in delivering our projects.
Our Senior Data Engineer will lead on developing and implementing our data strategy, working with other data engineers and data managers across the Data Analytics Directorate to ensure our data strategy is aligned with the overarching data strategy for the wider directorate. ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of how Feedback communicates our work to help achieve our strategic goals. This includes centring communities, building our public profile with key audiences including journalists, developing our range of allies, reflecting our understanding of historical injustice in the food system, and fostering an experimentation and learning culture. As Feedback has recently rebranded and changed its name, this role will involve carefully managing the journey of embarking with a new brand.
This role would suit an experienced communications professional who is excited to think deeply about the way communications can support systemic change in the food sector. Experience with managing relationships with journalists and media outlets, identifying and pursuing stories, managing change, and contributing to organisational learning will be important.
Everyone at Feedback is engaged in our journey towards fully embodying the principles of an anti-racist and anti-oppressive organisation, and as Communications Manager you will take the opportunity to think deeply and act on these principles in our approach to communications. Feedback’s activities span communities/grassroots and policy/corporate campaigns and one of our priorities is integrating these two aspects of our work, so an understanding of the reality of working with communities, either professionally or personally, or a willingness to learn, is vital.

This role is responsible for delivery, alongside colleagues, of two strategic objectives:
PUBLIC PROFILE
By the end of 2025, we will have good public visibility with frequent media impressions and a strong recognized brand, raising awareness of our work, and raising the credibility of our asks amongst diverse audiences
SUPPORTERS
By the end of 2025, a strong and engaged online supporter base will be integral to us achieving our goals through online actions and donations
Alongside this, you will be responsible for ensuring our work at Feedback fulfils our wider strategic objectives to:
· Centre communities in our policy asks, while building support for our campaigns amongst partner communities;

These responsibilities will be met by:
1. Build and develop Feedback’s media profile (approx 30% of time) by:
a. Building relationships with journalists.
b. Identifying and developing new hooks and stories to pitch to the media from across Feedback’s portfolio of work. Pitching these to key journalists alongside campaigners where relevant.
c. Drafting media materials including pitch documents, press releases and Q&A documents.
d. Preparing colleagues ahead of media interviews.

2. To manage Feedback’s brand and public profile (approx. 30% of time) by:

b. Fully deliver the roll-out of Feedback’s new brand and its application to every aspect of our communications work.
3. To manage the communications pipeline (approx. 30% of time) by:
a. Acting as a quality control and adviser on all communications outputs from across the team to ensure that form and content are as effective and creative as possible.
b. Thinking and experimenting with the application of our anti-racism and anti-oppressive work to our communications.
c. Managing sub-contractors as necessary to deliver high quality content in a timely manner.
d. Managing the communications budget.
4. Develop a learning system to continually learn and improve on how we do communications at Feedback (approx. 10% of time) by:
a. Monitoring and tracking impact of Feedback’s communications outputs
b. Identifying appropriate indicators which provide opportunities to learn about how we meet our strategic objectives through our communications.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential knowledge and experience:

Labour Behind the Label's Advocacy Lead is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in campaigns to call for better conditions in the garment industry and pushing our message in the media. ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role for an experienced campaigner (5-7+ years) to lead the design, development and delivery of a new campaign exposing the food security, environmental, climate, health and human right abuses and global injustice issues linked to the production and use of synthetic fertilisers.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Working closely with the Director of Campaigns, the Executive Director and other senior colleagues, lead the design and development of Feedback’s new campaign on industrial, fossil-fuel based agriculture reliant on synthetic fertilisers, formulating robust and striking policy positions and campaign asks that will result in socially equitable outcomes. During your first three months at Feedback you will:
a. Create an internal knowledge base on key aspects of fertiliser production and use based on a comprehensive review of the relevant technical and scientific literature;
b. Conduct supply chain mapping and scoping on corporate structures, ownership and market dynamics;
c. Build a network of allies supportive of our core objectives;
d. Build understanding of the interface between the livestock and fertiliser agendas.
2. Project manage implementation of Feedback’s fossil agriculture/ synthetic fertiliser campaign, which we currently plan to launch at COP29 in Azerbaijan;
3. Undertake research and analysis and produce high quality written campaign materials including reports, briefings, factsheets and open letters;
4. Produce written content for Feedback’s social media channels (e.g. blogs, posts);
5. Monitor key market and political/regulatory developments;
6. Build strategic relationships with journalists and represent Feedback in the media;
7. Engage at senior level with corporate executives and institutional representatives;
8. Represent Feedback at external meetings and conferences to engage and influence decision makers;
9. Participate in civil society coalitions and build a strong and effective network of like-minded organisations supportive of our work;
10. Commission research and manage external contractors where required;
11. Track and evaluate campaign impact;
12. Manage campaign budget and provide updates on campaign highlights to donors as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential requirements:
· Knowledge of global food systems and/or global energy systems issues and ability to quickly master a technical brief;

Since its inception, the National Saturday Club has evolved into a nationwide movement offering free extracurricular education. Our programme places young people at the heart of a vibrant network of world-class professionals from education, the cultural sector and industry, all of whom are dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential.
The National Saturday Club has seen significant growth in recent years. We have expanded our network from 74 Saturday Clubs in 2021 to over 100 in 2024, with a target of 140 by 2025-26 and an ambition to reach 180 clubs by 2026-27. To meet the demands of this growth, we have also doubled our staff, with a team of 20 this year. We are committed to continuing to expand our programme to reach even more young people. With this growth comes increased operational and financial complexity, necessitating an expansion of our leadership capacity. As such we are recruiting our first Chief Operating Officer to oversee and lead our organisation’s financial and operational functions.
The COO will be responsible for finance, data and IT, risk management, legal, HR and culture and premises, including oversight on all operational areas including health and safety, and safeguarding You will also provide focused financial and operational long-term planning, strategic leadership and, as we grow, cultivate a culture that reflects our values and is rooted in equity, diversity and inclusion.

The policy team supports this by analysing, understanding, and informing national policies on health, social care and public health in the UK, with a particular focus on the overall direction and performance of the health system in England.Our work ranges from understanding integrated care systems in the NHS, how to improve access to primary care, and strategies to improve public health and prevention. We also assess the overall performance of the health system (for example, through public polling and international comparisons).
The policy officer will work on a mix of projects, supporting in-house policy analysis and research, as well as helping to scope and develop ideas for externally commissioned research. The role will include supporting our programme of public polling. The policy officer will support policy analyses, including synthesising qualitative and quantitative research evidence; analysing policy documents and grey literature; and supporting policy research.
The policy officer will help write and contribute to external publications, including briefings, blogs, and longer Health Foundation reports. Everybody in the policy team contributes to our written work—so the ability to write with clarity about complex issues is essential.
The policy team works closely with other teams in the Health Foundation—for example, with those carrying out more in-depth quantitative analysis—on projects and to exchange ideas. The policy officer will therefore work collaboratively, engaging with colleagues to make best use of the Health Foundation’s skills and assets to produce effective policy analysis.

This new team will be guided and supported by Senior Employment Advisors and a Service Lead, as well as Twining’s established and experienced Senior Leadership Team and Trustees.

THE ROLE – EMPLOYMENT ADVISORS
The new Employment Advisors (EAs) will work within the West London NHS Talking Therapies provision. They will work one-to-one with a caseload of clients referred by NHS Talking Therapies therapists to find employment, remain in existing work if they are struggling, improve their working environment, return to work following sickness or positively leave or retire from work.
You will primarily fulfil these duties by providing information, as well as advice and guidance to clients who choose to receive employment support. The work should empower clients to make better decisions about their working lives, as well as communicate better with colleagues and managers in existing roles. You will also signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources or recruitment.
EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Engage a mixed caseload of clients at any given time serving 100-125 per year, with common mental health problems, to establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them to find new employment or support them in, or to leave, existing employment. Support will be provided face-to-face in Talking Therapies settings, via secure online meeting platforms or over the telephone.
2. Along with their NHS clinician, assess clients’ support needs with a view to creating, implementing, and adjusting a personalised action plan to help improve clients’ mental health and achieve their stated employment goals.
3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to support clients to find work, including career guidance, job searching skills, CV preparation, application form completion, interview skills, advice on local labour market opportunities and advice on education and training to further their career.
4. Provide guidance to support clients to stay in existing work, including advice on mental health disclosure, negotiating reasonable adjustments to existing workplaces, creating wellness action plans, and improving productivity, support to return to work after sickness absence or to leave an existing role with dignity, and signpost clients to organisations that can represent them (EAs should only look to represent clients in exceptional circumstances).
5. Facilitate access to other advice in areas such as financial benefits, debt management, food banks and community food outlets and social housing providers, as necessary.
6. Work directly with partners like Jobcentre Plus, other employment providers, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to support clients to stay in employment and secure employment opportunities.
7. Build a constant flow of referrals from the clinical team to ensure a dynamic and mixed caseload.
8. Meet referral and performance targets in line with the specific KPI / SLA requirements of the service.
9. Regularly attend team and other meetings as reasonably expected.
10. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.
11. Update and maintain NHS database (IAPTUS).
12. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organization’s needs.
13. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.
14. Comply with and actively promote all Twining policies and procedures including Equality and Diversity, safeguarding and data protection.
15. Perform other tasks as required by your manager.
The role holder must also:
1. Pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an Enhanced level.
2. Possess excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software, as well as experience updating and maintaining databases.
3. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service performance requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.
4. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organization’s needs.
5. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.
6. Comply with and actively promote all Twining policies and procedures including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Data Protection and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

You will engage with businesses and potential employers to find opportunities for the people we support to get paid work. You will do this by providing education sessions and training using your own experiences. As well as engaging families and prospective people to support about why they should undertake a supported employment journey. You will also provide insight to the work options manager when planning initiatives and service development.
You will also act as an advocate for the people we support across Wrexham, getting feedback on the service they receive, gathering stories and case studies and feeding this back to Hft and the local authority. You'll act as a representative at conferences and events and support the work options manager to prepare reports.
You will also support Hft's Policy and Public Engagement Manager in promoting Hft's work and the benefits of supported employment to the wider organisation and policy makers.
