Senior Philanthropy Officer

London, Greater London (Hybrid)
£37,813 to £42,015 per annum (pro rata £30,250 to £33,613)
Part-time (28 hours per week )
Permanent
Job description

The Senior Philanthropy Officer will work closely with our Philanthropy Managers, Head of Philanthropy and colleagues across the organisation to lead complex funding proposals and manage a portfolio of higher-value donor relationships and grants, ensuring that our policies and procedures are followed.

As YoungMinds’ Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will play a key role in our Philanthropy team, providing an intermediate level of seniority between our Philanthropy Officer and Philanthropy Managers. You will take ownership of prospect pipeline development and lead or support stewardship of a range of major donor and Trust and Foundation partners and prospects, acting as a bridge between operational fundraising delivery and strategic partnership development.  It’s a role that engages with colleagues across the organisation, at all levels, and will give you the opportunity to work closely with them to maximise income from major six- and seven-figure partnerships.

You will build excellent, trusting relationships with trusts, foundations and major donors, developing compelling, cause-led propositions and providing proportionate, high-quality account management and stewardship. You will identify and develop larger-scale funding opportunities, think creatively about stewardship opportunities and events, and manage risk and sensitivity in donor relationships with confidence.
