We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding role helping to change the lives of young people by taking up a permanent role as a part-time Programme Support Tutor. You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.
The main duties of the role
To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.
- To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
- To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery.
- To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
- To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks.
- To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes.
- To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act, Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.

Children and Young People Support Worker (Connected and Adoption Alliance, North Wales)

You will work a mixture of evening work (2-3 x 2 hour evening sessions per week), plus one full weekend per month, with the rest of your hours worked flexibly during the week. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
•To support the delivery of ‘Connected’ and monthly meetings for children and young people, and the Adoption Alliance Project (which is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund)
•To work closely with the Connected Lead Worker and the Adoption Alliance Lead to support and enable young, adopted people in North Wales to participate fully; and to support the delivery of both projects and for children and young people to participate using either Welsh or English language as they choose.
•To support the Lead Worker to run Connected sessions, and help facilitate young people’s involvement in making change in the way adopted young people are treated in education settings through the Adoption Alliance project.
•To support the Children and Young People Service Manager in delivering other aspects of the CONNECT Service, such as supporting delivery of Adoption Awareness Training; creating content for the CONNECT website; and supporting the CONNECT Voices Youth Council.
•Partners will include the North Wales Adoption Service, National Adoption Service, the Education Departments of each of the 6 local authorities across North Wales, and ESTYN.
MAIN DUTIES
•To work with the Connected Lead Worker/Adoption Alliance Lead to deliver Connected sessions and Adoption Alliance services across North Wales, and in particular to assist with the groups and support young people to achieve their goals.
•To provide support to the development, delivery, and promotion of both services, including planning of an annual programme of group sessions and activities for delivery, and purchasing and preparing resources.
•To support the Connected Lead Worker/Adoption Alliance Lead in undertaking the processing of referrals and initial engagement with young people.
•To support the the Connected Lead Worker/Adoption Alliance Lead to work with the young people and their families to establish whether the service is appropriate for them; and to agree measurable outcomes in line with the guidance provided for the Regulated and Inspection Social Care 2016 Act for adoption services.
•To support the Connected Lead Worker/Adoption Alliance Lead to maintain agreed levels of contact with young people and their adoptive family, as long as they remain registered with the services.
•To work closely with the Connected Lead Worker/Adoption Alliance Lead to book venues, take bookings for sessions/training, and gather output and outcome data from the project.

A part-time role developing, curating, delivering and finessing training for two distinct audiences – training for those who have low digital confidence, as well as young people, in how to use digital devices effectively and efficiently; and also training for those who may come into contact with, or wish to learn about, digital poverty, including staff of corporates and community providers.
The former audience – learning about digital skills – will need to gain knowledge and understanding about the foundational elements of using laptops, tablets and smartphones. This includes Essential Digital Skills such as setting passwords, connecting to Wi-Fi and using keyboards, as well as soft skills such as staying safe online, critical thinking and recognising fake news or AI generated imagery.
The latter audience – learning about digital poverty – will need to learn about the causes and impacts of digital poverty, what impact digital exclusion has on families and communities, and how to understand if someone is digitally included.
There may be other training requirements as well – such as training external users of our systems, training corporate volunteers, or a train-the-train model of supporting young people to work with those in their communities.
Key responsibilities
- Work with CEO and SMT to gain a strong understanding of the content we wish to deliver.
- Design a range of standardised training materials, developing curriculum plans, which are able to be tailored easily for cohorts.
- Work with the Head of Development to ensure training meets the needs of potential partners.
- Work with delivery and project officers to understand training requirements as they relate to specific programmatic requirements.

Dadzclub is a vibrant community of dads and male caregivers coming together to connect, have fun, and support one another. Through our weekly meetups and creative weekend sessions, we offer space for dads to bond with their children and share the highs and lows of fatherhood.
But we’re more than just a playgroup. Dadzclub actively works with partners to improve access to services, raise awareness of health and parenting issues affecting men, and champion gender equity and allyship.

About the Role
Dadzclub is seeking a dedicated, creative, and tenacious individual to take on the role of Dadzclub Coordinator in Southampton. This exciting and rewarding position will play a key role in supporting fathers and male caregivers in the local community, providing group activities, one-to-one support, and promoting the important role of dads in their children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a weekly Walk 'n' Talk group for dads

Provide one-to-one support meetings and offer a triage service to assess individual needs, sign posting dads towards further support

Facilitate a monthly games night

Supervise the delivery of Dadzclub Stay & Play sessions across three Saturday morning locations

Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers supporting the programme

Represent Dadzclub at local events, networks, and professional forums

Act as the main liaison for local professionals and services (e.g. Family Hubs)

Collaborate with the wider Dadzclub and Parenting Network team

Attend relevant training and development courses

Maintain accurate records, tracking engagement, progress, and outcomes

Manage a small budget, tracking spend via a mobile app

Provide additional support as required by the Senior Coordinator

About the Role
As our Wales Lead, you’ll take on a high-impact, strategic role at the forefront of creating real change for young people across Wales. You won’t just be shaping our vision—you’ll be bringing it to life by building powerful partnerships, influencing key decision-makers, and championing the growth of our enterprise and financial education programmes in the places they’re needed most.
This role is anything but ordinary. Key Responsibilities

· Identify and secure funding to support our work across Wales with an ambitious focus on growing income
· Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings

· Represent YE in Wales externally at events and forums, promoting the organisations profile and influence across the education and third sector

A few practical things:
