This role will support the delivery of our Impact and Evaluation strategy. This area of our work helps us to understand the impact of our grantmaking and creates and evaluates internal and external datasets to improve our work. Our Impact and Evaluation portfolio includes commissioning and undertaking new research, supporting our aim to publish studies on issues that affect children and young people living in poverty.
We are a growing charity and our Impact and Evaluation department has a key role to play in the strategic and operational development of the charity as it grows. This role will support the delivery of that aim by working closely with the Impact and Evaluation Manager.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection: Assist with the collection and storage of research and survey data, including demographic data and outcomes indicators, employing quantitative and qualitative methods. Gather and engage with external open and government datasets.
Database Administration: Retrieve and analyse datasets from internal databases, responding to requests for data from the team. Update and enter data into key dashboards to monitor trends and issues.
Data Analysis: Assist with data analysis tasks, including cleaning and analysing quantitative data using software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI), as well as coding and analysing qualitative data using thematic analysis techniques.
Reporting and Presentations : Assist with the preparation of key reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising key findings, trends, and insights from impact and evaluation activities for fundraising purposes, including developing content for social media.
Evaluation Planning: Assist the implementation of evaluation plans for specific programs or initiatives. Contribute to planning large-scale projects, including the selection of appropriate evaluation methods, data collection tools, and evaluation frameworks.
Survey Administration: Assist with the design, administration, and analysis of surveys to gather feedback from grantees, staff, and other stakeholders. Monitor and act on grantee feedback, sharing relevant results with key staff.
Research Administration: Schedule and undertake interviews/focus groups, supported by the I&E Manager. Manage administrative activities such as contact with participants, transcription and coding.
Collaboration: Support the I&E Manager to collaborate with internal staff, research partners, and organisations in the sector to support evaluation activities.

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. We are also very much open to candidates from a sales, marketing, and account management background, as well as candidates with events and projects experience. The Team
The Trusts and Foundations Team is part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Department and is central to Whizz Kidz contributing to its ambitious goal of ensuring that every young wheelchair user in the UK is mobile, enabled and included. The Role
This role will be responsible for researching and applying to small Trusts and managing an existing portfolio (up to 10K) alongside supporting larger grant applications where required. You will create and maintain a prospect list, apply for relevant opportunities and effectively steward existing funders, preparing reports and updates ensuring they meet donor guidelines. Furthermore you will support the migration of our CRM from Raisers Edge to Microsoft Dynamics.
The person
You will have Trust fundraising experience with excellent research and writing skills with ability to identify new Trusts to apply to, prepare accurate and compelling donor reports and case studies and be confident in approaching donors and promoting the work of Whizz-Kidz. You will have strong donor stewardship skills with ability to tailor approaches to the needs of the donor. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Previous experience in customer/supporter loyalty and retention marketing.
- Experience working on fundraising cash appeals or other income generating campaigns.
- Proficiency in delivering marketing initiatives across various channels, most notably Direct Mail, Email, Digital.
- Some experience with Telemarketing and SMS would be desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to grow existing supporter value through communication journeys, supporter experience enhancements, or donor care initiatives.
- Project management skills with a track record of supporting the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience collaborating with external partners, such as creative agencies, fulfilment houses, or telemarketing agencies.
- Familiarity with developing and delivering fundraising and marketing assets both online and offline, with knowledge of both data and print processes for direct marketing.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Team Leader to assist the Service Manager in overseeing the operational running and leadership and management of our staff team at our residential centre (Farm Place) in Surrey.
The role of the Senior Team Leader is to work proactively, creatively and effectively alongside the Service Manager and our staff team and young people to develop their skills and strengths to help them gain the confidence they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
This is a Deputy Manager role, you will be expected to effectively lead, motivate and inspire the staff team to facilitate a high quality programme for our young people and be committed to excellent outcomes for young people. You will also undertake housing and facilities management and health and safety-related tasks as required.

To assist the Service Manager to ensure that the centre runs at its targeted occupancy according to the annual budget.
To assist the Service Manager in reaching funded occupancy set out in the annual budget.
To assist the Service Manager in completing a thorough and comprehensive assessment with all potential new residents to assess their suitability and appropriateness for the service.
To ensure that all telephone calls and correspondence to the centre are answered professionally and promptly.
To produce written progress reports to statutory funders and work alongside colleagues on tender applications for new contracts as and when required.
To ensure the smooth transition and induction of all new residents to the centre, you will be required to assist with supervised drug and/or alcohol testing.
To effectively communicate with colleagues, residents and agencies.
To build and maintain open and productive relationships between all parties.
To facilitate regular team meetings and provide clear and concise communications to the staff team at regular intervals.
To ensure that each member of your staff receives one to one supervision in accordance with the supervision policy.
To attend events when required and at times deliver presentations.
To work alongside the Service Manager to complete objectives and achieve targets set for the service.
To undertake relevant training that may fall outside of their normal working pattern and hours.
To maintain high and excellent standards of practice using a person centred approach to support that places the dignity and integrity of the individual resident at the forefront of priorities.
To deputise for the Service Manager in their absence and assume full responsibility for the running of the service.

Ensure that staff are effectively led and appropriately managed to ensure that excellent performance is recognised and remedial action is taken where performance or conduct falls below expectations.
Alongside the Service Manager, ensure that all staff receive appropriate supervision, appraisals and are actively and positively encouraged to maximise their skills and qualities.
Provide opportunities for staff training and development.
Assist the Service Manager with absence management, monitoring staff performance and handling any disciplinary issues including investigations.

Work alongside the Service Manager to ensure all services are delivered within budget.

Fundraising
To work effectively with the fundraising team, helping to ensure that they have the information needed to complete effective applications, proposals and reports.
Help facilitate visits of funders to demonstrate the impact of Amber’s work.
To assist the Fundraising Manager in the collection of positive case studies, photographs and news to compliment Amber’s communications work.
Financial
To follow all financial policies and procedures as required and in the absence of the Service Manager.
To assist the Service Manager in ensuring compliance with the centre budget, ensure effective budgeting and budgeting controls are in place.
To support the Service Manager in completing and contribute to the annual budget.
In the absence of the Service Manager, take responsibility for resident related income including housing benefit and resident’s service charge.

The purpose of the role is to drive and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy in order to support the work of Life. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the end-to-end experience of existing supporters as well as attaining new supporters.
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and leading the Individual Giving Team, the post holder will work closely with colleagues across the fundraising and marketing teams to; create, test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns, lead on Legacy (and in-memoriam giving) lottery and raffle and other income streams associated with individual giving. The post holder will be working to and reporting on ambitious income and expenditure targets and ensuring that supporters have a positive experience of the charity.
The postholder will lead a Donor Administration Manager to deliver on a positive donor/supporter experience with the aim of retention of current supporters for the long term as well as acquisition of new donors, maximising the potential of all of our supporters. It forms a central part of the overall fundraising strategy, with the ultimate aim of growing our individual giving income to increase the impact of the charity and benefit those needing support in pregnancy, pregnancy loss or in the early years of a baby.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop and implement a cohesive supporter journey strategy focussed on supporter needs and continuous re-engagement
· Champion best practice and stewardship with individual supporters
· Grow one-off donations and regular gifts and maximise the acquisition of new supporters through direct mail and digital marketing

· Oversee the compliance of third party agencies to ensure activity is carried out in line with the values of Life, the Fundraising Code of Practice and the law
· Input fully into the wider fundraising strategy by working closely with fellow managers and the team as a whole
Information Management
· Ensure data and information systems are up to date and provide an accurate picture of supporter segmentation, communications, preferences, permissions, requests, gifts and pledges
· Create regular and detailed reports to monitor individual giving performance against campaigns and targets
· Support the maintenance of the database to ensure records are updated, procured and implemented.
Personal and People Development
· Ensure personal continuing professional development is maintained, including attending relevant internal and external development training and workshops.
· Ability to manage own objectives and areas of responsibility within charity projects to ensure deadlines and financial targets are met.
· The post holder will be expected to liaise within the team and with key stakeholders as well as supervising specific projects and campaigns.
