Who we’re looking for:

You will have a curious and proactive mindset, confident digital skills and a heart for mission. You’ll be highly organised with an eye for detail and ready to take ownership of our social media content and paid advertising to help tell powerful stories and grow supporter engagement.

You’ll have a minimum of 12–18 months’ experience in a social media copywriting, paid ads or social media manager role, comfortable with tools including Sprout Social, Adobe, Canva, and ClickUp.  Experience with Meta and Google Ads, Google Grants, Google analytics and a willingness to learn and innovate are also key.

Join Different Strokes, a national charity led by young stroke survivors for young stroke survivors. There are 100,000 strokes in the UK every year, and 1 in 4 of these happen to someone of working age or younger. We aim to promote independent stroke recovery and help younger stroke survivors to reclaim their lives.

We are a small national charity that really cares about what we do. We are currently looking to expand our team, and to devote additional resources to support our network of local groups across the UK, which provide vital peer support for stroke survivors in a face-to-face setting.

We have around 30 autonomous local groups, which are all volunteer led.  As the Community Administrator you will work closely with our Volunteer and Groups Co-ordinator, and provide vital administrative support.  You will be responsible for such activities as data collecting, ensuring group documents and paperwork requirements are up-to-date, providing monthly updates and ordering marketing materials. 

You will help to ensure that all our group volunteers receive the support they require, and respect the autonomy that groups have to make their own decisions, while ensuring that they work within the framework of Different Strokes and that they meet compliance requirements.  The ability to communicate effectively with group volunteers and other third parties, by phone, email and through online platforms, is essential.

The role would be based in our office in Milton Keynes.  The willingness to undertake occasional visits to groups would be beneficial.

This is a permanent position for 15 hours per week.  Very occasional evening or weekend work will be required.

It comprises 11 self-contained flats offering accommodation to both male and female residents. As a low-need service, the role involves supporting customers in developing essential life skills. We are working with our local Primary Care Networks to deliver Social Prescribing in Richmond. Social Prescribing is part of the NHS Long-Term Plan and enables GPs and other health care professionals to refer patients to a Link Worker who can work with the individual to connect them with services and activities in their local community.

The role aims to empower people and take control of their lives. It involves working with people who may be experiencing a number of issues, so you will need outstanding listening and communication skills, empathy and enthusiasm. • The Fundraising Team is small, working closely with other teams including Marketing, Enterprises and Curriculum, so flexibility in approach is a must.
• Some periods will be busier than others, for example events seasons, student performance times, so prioritisation and flexibility will be needed.

We are recruiting a Head of Care Services to join our senior team and to play their part in the ongoing development of our activities, ensuring that we maintain high quality standards and a person-centred approach.  The ideal applicant will have experience in ensuring the care and wellbeing of individuals, ideally with learning disabilities, autism and mental health, including the preparation of the range of paperwork and audits covering all aspects of care in a Day Centre setting,

The postholder will have knowledge of managing staff and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes, experience of interacting with Social Services and Health professionals, knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and managing the minimising of risk, strong I.T and communication skills and ability to contribute as part of a team and on their own initiative.

A full clean U.K. driving licence and qualification in Health and Social Care are welcomed.

Are you an experienced manager with a passion for delivering high quality services to people with learning disabilities? Are you committed to working in collaboration with service users, maximising independence, self-confidence and integration in the community? If so, you may be just the person we are looking for to take the lead on developing our newly awarded supported living service based in the Harrow and Wembley area.

Based across two properties, you and your team will be supporting ten adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, as well as additional mental and physical health needs.

You will play a pivotal ambassadorial role, continuing Centre’s 404 service expansion into the London Brough of Brent and bringing our expertise, vision and values to families in need.

This varied and dynamic role will lead on the set up, coordination and provision of excellent person-centred care and support to service users, enabling them to live independently in their home and be supported in all aspects of day-to-day living. As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to meet individual needs. You will also contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of support workers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage. The Communications Manager is responsible for managing CASPA’s communications function and brand development. They will ensure CASPA’s mission and purpose is reflected in our brand and social media presence, and effectively engages members, funders and other stakeholders.

• Plan and deliver inspiring fundraising and advocacy campaigns. 

• Manage CASPA’s brand, website, and social media channels. 

• Create engaging content that champions autistic voices and showcases CASPA’s impact. 

• Build relationships with media and external partners.

• Work with leadership to shape CASPA’s annual report and manage budgets 

• Oversee CASPA’s volunteer Autistic Content Creators team

Ruils is run by, and for, disabled people. We exist to remove the barriers that prevent disabled people from living independent lives. Our vision is a society where all individuals have choice and control to live independently. We provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.

We work with the Richmond General Practice Alliance (RGPA) and our local Primary Care Networks to deliver personalised care services: Social Prescribing and Proactive Anticipatory Care (PAC). This allows GPs and other health care professionals to refer patients to a Link Worker or Care Coordinator, who can work with the individual and connect them with services and activities in their community. We have a team of 15 Link Workers and Care Coordinators spread throughout the borough and in this role you will lead and manage the team.

The NHS Plan also highlighted the need to focus on the prevention of long-term conditions and reduce health inequalities faced by sections of society. You will also lead the delivery of ‘Health in Your Hands’ and a Community Health and Wellbeing Programme, which focuses on targeting localities that are facing health inequalities due to high levels of social deprivation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading and motivating a team of professionals with differing skills and experience to deliver high quality services meeting Key Performance Indicators.
• Being a key member of the Charity’s leadership team able to consider and discuss the wider aspects of the charity outside of your own direct responsibilities.
• Working with the RGPA contract manager and the CEO to set and monitor targets for each project/service and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Strong project management skills – able to set up projects, processes and communicate these clearly to the wider team.
• Creating coherent and comprehensive reports for stakeholders by analysing and collating data from different sources.
• Working on your own initiative and with minimum day to day supervision to achieve agreed goals and targets.
• Attending meetings and events, communicating effectively with a variety of individuals including health professionals and other organisations in the voluntary sector.
• Being responsible for the recruitment, selection, induction and training of new permanent or temporary staff.
