About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fundraising Assistant to provide temporary administrative support to a busy development team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting impactful work.

You’ll play a key role in supporting donor stewardship, coordinating logistics for meetings and events, and maintaining accurate records across fundraising systems. The position offers flexibility in working hours, with a requirement to be in the office on Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide admin support for donor meetings, including travel bookings, briefings, and CRM updates
• Assist with donation processing, including gift receipts and thank-you letters
• Support planning and logistics for an upcoming international donor visit

About this role

This role is 20 hours per week, worked part-time over 5 days Monday-Friday. Suggested working times are 10am-2pm however this can be flexible for the right candidate. The part-time salary for this role is £16,250 (£26,000 FTE for organisation 32 hours working week).

The Finance Coordinator will prepare financial reports for the board and ensure compliance with financial regulations. They will work with our bookkeeper to ensure excellent day-to-day financial management. They will collaborate with our Project Leads, supporting them to set and manage budgets, report quarterly to the board, and ensure all project income and expenditure is recorded accurately in Xero. They will also use produce cashflow forecasts and scenarios using the Xero integration with Syft that Selce has implemented. They will also play a role in HR processes reviewing timesheets monthly and ensuring contracts are amended as staff roles evolve. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health and sustainability of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

· Review financial data and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.

· Present financial reports with variance analysis and commentary for the board.

We are looking for a professionally qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with financial management, audit, book-keeping and project-based accounting experience.  Familiarity with charity finance or international development would be an asset, or this could be the role to enable you to move in to that sector. If you are a team player, proactive and detailed-orientated but also keen on the big picture we'd love to hear from you. Interviews will be on a rolling basis, early applications are encouraged.

• Reporting to: Senior Communications and External Affairs Manager

About the Role 

It is an exciting time in Chance UK’s history. Following the launch this year of our new Organisational Strategy, A Chance to Belong, we are expanding our Impact and evaluation team for the exciting times ahead. We are proud to be a learning organisation. Our programmes are rooted in a proved evidence base, and our impact has been proven to be both significant and long lasting. The Impact and Evaluation Manager will join us at an exciting time. Following our strategic review, expanded service offer and new operating model we will be working with leading social researchers to ensure that our evaluation tools, processes, systems and data sets continue to be fit for purpose and develop a whole organisation theory of change and value for money framework. Beyond this vital workstream, the Impact and Evaluation Manager will strengthen our ability to elevate the voices and experience of young people and their families as we look to strengthen the system, and, using our evidence base, speak to the short mid- and long-term benefits of early intervention and prevention in key sector debates including but not exclusively behaviour and attendance policies in schools. 

You will play a vital role in supporting the organisation continue to monitor and understand the impact of our work and provide insight reports to inform decision making.

About the Role
As our Wales Lead, you’ll take on a high-impact, strategic role at the forefront of creating real change for young people across Wales. You won’t just be shaping our vision—you’ll be bringing it to life by building powerful partnerships, influencing key decision-makers, and championing the growth of our enterprise and financial education programmes in the places they’re needed most.

 This role is anything but ordinary. One day you could be speaking at a roundtable in the Senedd, the next you might be rallying new corporate partners, supporting a school’s first enterprise challenge, or welcoming a team of volunteers to inspire students during a school workshop. You’ll be a connector, an ambassador, and a changemaker—leading the charge to embed our work into Welsh policy and priorities while forging strong, purposeful relationships across Welsh Government, local authorities, schools, and community organisations.

 You’ll be the face and voice of Young Enterprise in Wales—energising a wide network of businesses, educators, funders, and volunteers to scale our impact and amplify our reach. With a strong focus on growth, fundraising, and influence, you’ll help us secure the resources and recognition needed to empower young people with the skills, confidence, and resilience they need for life, work, and the future.

We're especially keen to hear from candidates who are bilingual in Welsh and English, as this is a great asset for the role.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the strategic growth of Young Enterprise in Wales

· Lead on policy awareness, ensuring the organisation remains responsive to Government priorities and commissioned reports

· Develop, maintain and lead strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, local and national government, education bodies and partners

· Identify and secure  funding to support our work across Wales with an ambitious focus on growing income

· Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings

· Recruit, train and support volunteers—making sure they feel valued and inspired

· Represent YE in Wales externally at events and forums, promoting the organisations profile and influence across the education and third sector

· Focus your energy on reaching young people who face the greatest barriers to opportunity, making sure our work has the biggest impact where it’s needed most

· Build strong partnerships with businesses, educational settings and other local organisations to bring our programmes to life in both formal and informal settings

· Keep accurate records, track impact, and make sure safeguarding is front and centre

A few practical things:

· This is an active hands-on role—you’ll sometimes be lifting resources, setting up venues and travelling regularly (a car and full driving licence are essential)

· You’ll need to be a prolific networker, keen to develop new relationships across Wales to expand our reach

· You’ll need to be happy occasionally working evenings or weekends during peak delivery times

· Expect to be on your feet during some events or sessions—it’s all part of the fun!
