The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is recruiting a Philanthropy Lead to join our passionate, dynamic team, inspiring young people aged 8-24, to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer.

This is an exciting chance to take on a newly created strategic role that will be pivotal to driving Major Gift income and supporting successful Trust and Foundations growth whilst ensuring these high-value income streams have a real focus and synergy with their messaging, stewardship and donor experience.

You will have significant experience in and understanding of philanthropic giving and high-level relationship management and be motivated by propelling the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust towards becoming a £2m/year income organisation.

The role includes line managing and supporting two Trusts and Foundations fundraisers, building on the successes of a growing income stream.

Senior Marketing Manager for Mighty Hikes
1 year fixed-term contract (secondment cover)
34.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management to oversee the development and delivery of our multi-channel marketing campaign, supported by our media agency.

About the role:

A typical week in this role might involve:

• Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
• Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
• Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
• Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
• Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
• Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support

This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

We have a great job opening in our Grants team at ClientEarth! As Grants Officer you will work in our Grants Team to manage a portfolio of grants that fund our organisation’s work.

Meet your Manager

In this role, you will be managed by Lydia Baker. Lydia joined ClientEarth in August 2024 and in her role as a Grants Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key funders. Lydia has worked in the NGO sector for over eight years and has expertise in a variety of functions including grant management, programme management, communications and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.  On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with Lydia as part of an established Grants Team that sits within the Development Department at ClientEarth.

Main Duties

• Funding portfolio management - Have a close and in-depth knowledge of their grants portfolio, including a sound understanding of the philanthropic, institutional and statutory funding mix;
• Internal and external communications - Meet with Trust, Foundation and Institution portfolio managers to discuss proposals, provide updates on the programmatic work, and to formally report back on financial, organisational and technical issues; 
• Project management - Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s European and international offices to ensure input from all avenues to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner; and 
• Financial planning and budget handling - Work with Finance and Programmes staff to develop individual budgets for funding proposals
• Systems and processes - Maintain funder database systems (Raiser’s Edge) and other organisational databases (SharePoint) on a daily basis

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management. 
• Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation. 
• Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes). 
• Support the Global Head of Grants to develop and implement the team’s annual planning and wider fundraising strategy.

About The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the service complies with contract requirements and meets KPIs.  Your focus will be to providing administrative and office support to ensure the most effective delivery of Helpline Plus telephone casework services and undertaking administrative projects to improve systems and practice for the benefit of staff and clients. You will also input data on our CRM system and have extensive telephone contact with clients, so good verbal communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.

About The Team

Helpline Plus telephone Casework team is a team of experienced specialist housing and debt advisers. We have four teams of advisers based in Shelter’s Sheffield office. We work with multiple external referral partner organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Helpline Plus provides legal advice and casework to enforce the rights of homeless people and assists those facing possession action or orders for sale to remain in their homes. We negotiate with councils, lenders and landlords to try to prevent court action.

Due to the nature of the service we can provide prompt access and may take on emergency cases, in particular to people who are beyond the reach of face to face services.

Role overview
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Coordinator to help keep our busy calendar of classes, events, and community activities running like clockwork. This is a varied role with a focus on bookings and administration, alongside outreach, communications, and reporting, helping us reach more people, share our story, and measure the difference we make. The role will be onsite at our teaching space in Hackney. You’ll play a really key role in our team, making sure everyone, from our chef educators to our school partners, has the right information at the right time. You’ll coordinate the scheduling of a range of programmes, from weekly school sessions to seasonal events, ensuring each is delivered smoothly, safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
Programme & Administrative Coordination

• Act as the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in-person show-arounds.
•  Manage and maintain the shared bookings calendar, ensuring schedules are accurate and up to date.
•  Coordinate all aspects of school, after-school, and holiday cooking programmes — including outreach, scheduling, and briefing the delivery team.
•  Coordinate corporate bookings, including tailored away days, cookery experiences, venue hires, and corporate volunteer days.
•  Liaise with clients to understand bespoke requirements and ensure delivery teams are fully briefed.
• Prepare and send booking confirmations, terms and conditions, and collect deposits/payments when required.
• Provide logistical support for event bookings, setting up spaces for activities, ensuring equipment, furniture, and tech are ready.

Outreach & Communications

• Promote programmes to schools, community groups, corporate audiences, volunteers and the public.
• Undertake targeted outreach to recruit participants for funded community programmes, ensuring spaces are filled by priority groups.
• Produce engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website to shout about what we do.
• Create and update promotional materials using tools such as Canva.
• Use networks, local events, and targeted outreach to grow participation.
• Keep our contact databases up to date.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Keep our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning framework up to date, recording key data monthly and termly to record and evaluate our impact.
• Maintain accurate participation records across all of our programmes
• Collect and analyse participant feedback to improve delivery and help evaluate our programmes.
• Support the preparation of reports, case studies, and impact stories.

Finance & Administration

• Support financial processes for bookings and programmes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and deposits.
• Assist with budget monitoring for projects and events.
•  Ensure accurate financial records are maintained in line with organisational procedures.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT team, helping to provide support to users across our locations.

This role will receive support and ongoing guidance from across the team to build on your experience so a keenness to learn and develop your skills is key.

You will ideally have experience of supporting a wide range of end users in a Microsoft network using Windows 11 and Office 365. You must be confident in configuring and maintaining PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals, together with a good understanding of basic LAN and WAN network support techniques.
