Barnabas International is a large family of Christian ministries and charities focused on giving practical support to suffering, abandoned and persecuted Christians around the world. Overview of the Chief Outreach Officer

The Chief Outreach Officer will assume responsibility for all international communications, outreach and emerging countries and reports to the International Chief Executive Officer

This position will ensure that the organisation’s distinct Christian identity, operational excellence, resource efficiency, and effective programme delivery are maintained globally.

Main duties and responsibilities

i. Protect, maintain and enforce Barnabas Aid’s distinct Christian identity

Communications and Stakeholder Engagement

· Ensure effective internal communication regarding organisational updates and progress, particularly concerning project functions.

· Work with the Deputy International Projects Officer and senior leadership team to maintain clear communication with external stakeholders regarding operational matters.

· Collaborate with the International Chief Executive Officer to ensure the alignment of external communications with the organisation’s mission and global objectives.

Person profile

· Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, diverse teams across multiple international locations. Demonstrated ability to lead through change and effectively manage organisational transformation.

· Risk and Compliance: Experience managing risk, including safety, security, and legal compliance, in international and potentially high-risk environments.

Educational Requirements:

· A degree in International Development, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

· Advanced qualifications (Master’s level or higher) in international development, business management, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.

Work Experience:

· Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in international operations, ideally within the NGO, humanitarian, or development sectors.

· Experience working in crisis, conflict, or resource-constrained environments with an understanding of the challenges of global operations.

· Demonstrated success in managing teams and ensuring organisational growth and stability in complex international settings.

· Strong experience in financial management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with donor and legal requirements.

· Previous experience in working with or managing senior leadership teams in a global, multi-office structure is highly desirable.

About the role

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is the national governing body for the game of wheelchair rugby in England, Scotland, and Wales, is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, and is a full member of World Wheelchair Rugby (WWR) and of the British Paralympic Association (BPA).  

In the last ten years, GBWR has grown the paralympic discipline of the sport from a domestic league with a single division comprised of seven teams, to one which now has three leagues providing competition opportunities for 22 teams. The domestic league is internationally recognised for its high level of competition, where it regularly sees international players from Europe joining domestic teams and strengthening the level of competition.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Community and Participation to lead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at significantly increasing participation in wheelchair rugby across Great Britain. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful community outreach programs, engaging with local clubs and organisations, and developing innovative approaches to reach new participants, particularly those that are classifiable for wheelchair rugby (Paralympic discipline).

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in community development, sports development, and marketing, with a strong understanding of how to build sustainable participation pathways. About the Role

Job Purpose:
The Associate Director leads MSI’s impact modelling and analytics, showcasing the measurable health, economic, and social value of investing in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). This role is central to demonstrating and communicating the impact of MSI’s services in sector.

Measures of Success:

• Lead high-performing analytics teams to consistently deliver timely, high-quality technical outputs that enhance MSI programme effectiveness and efficiency.
• Forge strategic partnerships and represent MSI with authority in global forums and technical working groups, advancing the evidence base on SRHR investment impact and developing innovative future impact models.
• Deliver robust impact estimates and cost-effectiveness analyses that attract funding and drive strategic investments.
• Effectively communicate MSI’s value to diverse stakeholders—including donors, policymakers, and partners—through compelling, data-driven presentations and storytelling.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following skills:

• Advanced analytical and modelling expertise, including impact, equity, and cost-effectiveness analysis. Proficient in STATA or R and Excel; experienced in using DHS/PMA data, Interrupted Time Series, and multilevel regression.
• Deep knowledge of health impact evaluation in low-resource settings, with proven application of rigorous methodologies.
• Strong metrics and framework development, particularly for assessing value for money and equity. Skilled in integrated models that link population, environment, and economic outcomes across sectors.
• Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with the ability to translate complex data into persuasive, accessible narratives for donors, policymakers, and partners. Confident and engaging public speaker.
• Proven stakeholder engagement, including presenting high-level insights and actionable recommendations to global audiences.
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization, with demonstrated agility in managing shifting demands and fast-paced environments.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

• At least 10 years of experience leading evidence generation in global health. Experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is preferred, but not required.
• Proven expertise in managing complex modelling projects, including multi-sectoral impact evaluations in low-resource and development settings.
• Recognised thought leadership, with a strong track record of disseminating evidence—ranging from peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations to leading webinars and technical panels.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior and diverse stakeholders, including facilitating insight-generation sessions and steering model development.
• Experienced team leader, with a background in managing high-performing data, analytics, and insight teams to deliver quality outputs under pressure.
• Strong experience in donor engagement and managing high-value projects, including strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and delivering results.
• A track record of working effectively across cultures and geographies, providing technical support and research guidance in complex international contexts.

Formal education/qualification

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, or a related field.
• Additional qualification or formal training in impact evaluation is desirable.
• Proficiency in French is highly desirable (please specify level in your application).
• Additional training or qualifications in, impact evaluation and communication, data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and advanced Excel skills are an advantage.

Are you an experienced humanitarian leader who has a passion for strengthening emergency preparedness and response through capacity building initiatives?

UK-Med is an NGO providing emergency health support in times of crisis and humanitarian emergencies. We provide clinical support, as well as training and capacity building for health professionals around the world, with particular focus on countries vulnerable to natural disasters, outbreaks or with weakened health systems due to complex emergencies. As the principal partner of the UK Emergency Medical Team (UK EMT), we work closely with FCDO and the WHO, but we are also growing our own programmes. Our work has never been more vital, with disease outbreaks and disasters becoming more frequent, complex and severe.

Following a period of considerable growth in size and complexity of UK-Med’s capacity building portfolio we are seeking an experienced humanitarian leader to join our team in this pivotal role. Our portfolio continues to grow at pace with current priorities and projects covering training and preparation of emergency response staff, developing and consolidating our simulation exercise capability, piloting remote capacity building and TeleHealth, partnering with peer Emergency Medical Teams for capacity building and supporting university programmes.

The Deputy Director of Capacity Building will work with key internal and external stakeholders on successfully delivering UK-Med’s capacity building portfolio, develop and implement effective systems and procedures for training delivery and monitoring, and lead a team of talented training and capacity building professionals from various backgrounds. The role will involve travel for training delivery in the UK and internationally as well as occasionally deploying to humanitarian responses and existing country programmes.

The successful candidate will be an experienced humanitarian leader with a wealth of experience in emergency response, ideally in health programming. You will be passionate and experienced in contributing your own humanitarian expertise and experience to capacity building development and delivery from programme design to activity levels. You will have a strong track record of building and implementing systems and procedures for delivery and monitoring of complex programme portfolios, preferably within humanitarian capacity building.
