The Role
The Head of Retail will lead a team of 60+ staff and several hundred volunteers to grow and develop our retail presence on the high street and online. With 23 shops already open and plans to reach 30 in the next few years, this crucial role will be responsible for identifying new opportunities for growth, as well as maximising income from our existing shops. The money raised from our shops directly supports our life-saving work in the county, and the Head of Retail will also play a role in contributing to the wider success of the charity.
The Candidate
We're seeking an experienced and passionate retailer to join us. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a background in charity retail. They'll have an entrepreneurial spirit and a creative eye, but also able to motivate a large and diverse team, as well as working collaboratively with key internal support functions. They'll have demonstrable experience in budget management and sales analysis, with an ability to draw actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and understanding of retail best practice, including health and safety and wider regulatory compliance issues. A good geographical knowledge of Devon is essential.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

The Role
The Head of Fundraising is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the CEO and joining the SMT.
You would be responsible for developing, implementing and delivering income generation strategy.
As the sole dedicated income generation specialist, you will take a hands-on approach to all aspects of fundraising and business development, identifying opportunities, building partnerships, securing funding, and maximising income from a diverse range of sources.
The fundraising income is currently c£300,000 per year and they have ambition to grow this to £500,000 over the next three years to ensure that they can continue to be there for older people when they are in need.
You would lead and manage the acquisition of potential donors, cultivate relationships, solicit donations, and engage in ongoing stewardship activities to retain and grow support.
The Candidate
We are looking for a proactive and hands on fundraiser, happy to be a sole fundraiser within a wider supportive team.
Someone with a proven track record of securing significant income from at least three of the following individual giving (including High Net Worth and regular giving), trusts/foundations, corporates, community, and/or legacy support.

People facing decades of prison time often completely lose connection with their family and friends on the outside. This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract based in London (Hybrid). The post is renewable funding dependent. The salary for this role is £65,000 per annum.
The organisation's mission is to support global efforts to eradicate conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) and strengthen national and international responses to it through research and action on CRSV against men and boys. Working with victims/survivors and in partnership with national and international actors on the ground, the charity undertakes long-term, in-depth work in selected conflict-affected countries, currently Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, Colombia, and Ukraine.
In this role you will report to the Executive Director and lead a hands on, driven small team. You will play a key role contributing both strategically and operationally.

To be successful in this role, you will have a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA and other alternatives) or qualified by demonstrable experience. You will have experience working in NGO’s or organisations being funded primarily through grant funding.
You will have experience in financial reporting, budget management, audit preparation, grant reporting and presenting financial information to stakeholders. You will have a strong analytical mindset. As part of Keech Hospice's bold new fundraising strategy, we are seeking a dynamic leader to transform the way personal giving contributes to long-term income growth. This pivotal new role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a multi-channel, insight and data-led approach to personal giving - including legacies, in-memory giving, lottery, regular giving, payroll giving, and appeals. Your mission will be to build deep, long-lasting relationships with individual supporters, driving growth in income and supporter lifetime value.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Supporter Engagement, you will lead a passionate and skilled team of six, including three direct reports (Managers of High Net-Worth Individuals, Individual Giving, and Legacy and In Memory). Together, your team will deliver and grow a budget of £2.4 million+, with a goal of increasing personal giving income by 40% over the next three years.
As Head of Personal Giving, you will work closely with the Head of Public Giving to ensure an integrated supporter experience across all channels, creating seamless journeys through innovative use of insight, digital channels and automation to deepen donor engagement, improve retention and enhance supporter experience across all giving levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Working Conditions
The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).
In addition, there will be travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England.

This role will be responsible for leading the team to generate £1.5m annually and as part of our newly launched Fundraising strategy, will focus on growing High Value partnership income to £2.2 million annually over the next three years.
