About the role

We are looking for a Senior New Business Manager to lead our new business function as we grow our corporate partnerships programme. This is a high-impact and visible role at the heart of our fundraising strategy. You will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing a robust new business pipeline, identifying, researching, and securing high-value corporate prospects

• Leading and motivating a talented team of three, providing guidance, development, and clear strategic direction

• Creating compelling, high-level partnership propositions that resonate with business leaders and align with our mission

• Working closely with the Corporate Account Management team to ensure a seamless journey from prospect to partner

About you

You will bring:

• Proven experience of winning new corporate partnerships, ideally in the charity sector (though we also welcome broader income generation or senior fundraising experience)

• Excellent relationship-building skills, both externally with business leaders and internally with senior stakeholders

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. The Role

What will I be doing?

As the Community Support Officer (Engagement and Volunteering), you’ll be at the heart of our work to build a vibrant, inclusive physics community. You’ll be the first point of contact for our volunteer-led Groups, Nations, and Branches — helping them to thrive, connect, and deliver meaningful activities that bring physics to life.

Your role will be varied, people-focused, and purpose-driven. You’ll:

• Support and empower volunteer committees with planning, elections, onboarding, and governance
• Design and deliver engaging training and resources to help volunteers feel confident and connected
• Celebrate and recognise contributions through awards, spotlight stories, and appreciation campaigns

Our step-change in impact with children will be achieved by a step-change in our philanthropy & partnerships: as a Senior Major Gifts Manager, you'll play a crucial role in this transformation through strategic development and personal leadership of a substantial portfolio of major donors that contribute significant gifts and support

In order to be successful in this role, you must have: 

-Substantial track record personally securing significant partnerships with major supporters

-Experience leading on developing major account portfolio management, proposal preparation and effective cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors

What you’ll do

You will lead the Postgraduate Certificate (Pg Cert) in Leadership for CYP Mental Health Services, ensuring its successful design, delivery and development. You will manage the curriculum in line with NHS England’s Leadership National Curriculum and UCL’s academic standards, oversee teaching and assessment, and ensure the programme remains financially and academically viable. The purpose is to equip managers and service leads in CYP Mental Health Services with the skills, knowledge and reflective leadership capacity needed to drive service transformation and improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

What you’ll bring

Essential requirements:

• Qualifications: PhD/professional doctorate in field of child mental health or a recognised qualification in a core child mental health profession (e.g. psychology, social work, educational psychology).
• Experience: leadership/management experience in CYP Mental Health Services, and experience in curriculum design, teaching, assessment and programme organisation in Higher Education;
• Knowledge: understanding of the national CYP IAPT programme and challenges/opportunities in child and young people’s mental health services;
• Skills: effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills,  ability to work flexibly and collaboratively and capable of managing budgets and ensuring programme financial viability.
• Commitment: dedication to high standards in teaching and assessment, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and demonstrating values of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Key details

Hours: Part time: 7 hours per week. Monday to Friday to be agreed and discussed with manager. Must be available to work on the 12 days during the year that the course runs (currently on Tuesdays).

Salary: £67,830 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

You might not have realised Edinburgh Leisure is a charity, and in addition to providing citywide sports and leisure services and looking after 30,000 members annually, we support over 14,700 people though provision of 18 different wellbeing projects and services, supported by 187 volunteers! 

These wellbeing projects are part of our Active Communities programme dedicated to supporting people who face barriers to being active. This includes people experiencing poverty, disabilities, health conditions and other inequalities.

As our Trusts & Statutory Fundraiser, you will play an important role in securing the future of our Active Communities projects and supporting people who would not be able to access our services otherwise.  It costs around £1.5 million to deliver the programme each year, over half of which comes from statutory funding.

Whilst our funding strategy looks to diversify income through further developing a range of income streams including events and individual giving, our Trusts & Statutory Fundraiser will be crucial in continuing to secure trust and grant income through private trusts, lottery and corporate foundations, as well as supporting existing and new statutory contracts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.

As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring key resources remain organised and up-to-date. Additionally you will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team. Actively managing the team’s inbox and coordinating meetings and projects, providing essential administrative support.

You will also be involved in coordinating data collection processes and assisting with the team’s survey function. This will include supporting basic analysis of evaluation data, collating and cleaning survey data and contributing to the production of reports and other key documents.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in providing administrative support, including managing shared folders and systems. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle a diverse range of responsibilities independently. You should also possess solid IT skills, including proficiency in common software packages like MS Office, experience of using online survey software and some experience using Excel for basic data analysis. You will also need to have an understanding of information governance issues including awareness of data protection and confidentiality requirements

Currently, pancreatic cancer has a five-year survival rate of just 7% due to late diagnosis and a lack of effective treatments. As our Head of Research, you’ll help us work with leading pancreatic cancer experts to develop an innovative strategy to accelerate research into this devastating disease in the UK. Pancreatic Cancer UK invests around £2.5 million in research each year. You’ll lead on developing and delivering our research programme to ensure we invest this money well and fund quality research that will have an impact.

What you will bring
