About the Role
The Senior Partnerships Officer (SPO) will work closely with the Chief Executive (CEO) and Fundraising Lead (FL) to ensure the charity has sufficient funding to achieve its mission. This primarily involves developing new donor relationships and partnerships to grow fundraising income streams. The fundraising strategy focuses on high-value grants, gifts and partnerships. We recognise that the lines between major donors, corporate partners and family foundations are often blurred. Therefore, the charity have chosen not to silo work in this way and instead have created a new role focused on developing new relationships across all these income streams. To provide high-quality, person-centred support and housing management services to residents living within Causeway's Mental Health Needs Service. The Woodland Trust is looking for a Fundraising Development Officer to join the Fundraising Development team and play a key role in raising vital income to support nature recovery across South West England. You'll build and manage relationships with major donors, secure funding through grants and legacy giving, and help deliver ambitious fundraising plans for projects, including the South West Rainforest Recovery Treescape.
This role is advertised as full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

We train specialist dogs to detect the odour of human disease, providing life-saving Medical Alert Assistance Dogs to people with complex health problems across the UK and collaborating with NHS Trusts and other researchers and Universities both in the UK and internationally to advance the early diagnosis of disease. MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
The Operational Standards and Performance Manager will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operational standards, quality assurance processes and performance reporting across Medical Detection Dogs. The postholder will help ensure that services, systems and ways of working are consistent, evidence-based, efficient and aligned with the charity’s mission to train dogs to save lives. Working across canine training and client services, the role will oversee the training and development of all operational staff in Training and Partnership Services.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will act as the central point for operational standards and performance across Training and Partnership Services, ensuring consistency in how services are delivered, measured and improved.
Working across training and client delivery functions, you will provide oversight of processes, support staff development and ensure that quality and compliance requirements are met.
You will design and embed performance frameworks, using data and insight to inform decision-making and support service improvement.
This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the ability to influence and support colleagues across a specialist, multi-disciplinary environment.
