The Centre for ADHD and Autism Support (CAAS) is looking for a passionate, proactive and relationship-focused Fundraising Officer to help grow our income and expand our impact across North West London.

Every year, CAAS supports hundreds of ADHD and autistic children, young people, adults and their families through information, advice, support services, training and community programmes. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a talented fundraiser who can help us build strong supporter relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure our vital work reaches even more people.

Reports to: Fundraising & Communications Manager

About the Role

Working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising activities that generate sustainable income and increase awareness of CAAS.

This varied and rewarding role will include:

• Developing and delivering community fundraising initiatives and events
• Recruiting and supporting individual and community fundraisers
• Building relationships with donors, schools, community groups and corporate partners
• Researching and developing new fundraising opportunities
• Supporting trust and grant applications
• Helping to grow digital and social media fundraising campaigns
• Maintaining fundraising records and supporter data using our CRM
• Representing CAAS at events, presentations and community engagements

You will also act as an ambassador for the charity, delivering excellent supporter care and helping donors understand the impact of their contributions.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a proven ability to generate income through fundraising activities.

You will have:

Essential

• Experience in a fundraising role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
• A successful track record in community fundraising, events, individual giving or related income generation
• Experience building relationships with donors, supporters, community groups or corporate partners
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written skills, including experience preparing funding applications or fundraising materials
• Experience using a CRM or database to manage supporter information
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A positive, professional and collaborative approach

Desirable

• Experience supporting fundraising volunteers or volunteer groups

About the role

As Head of Research and Evaluation, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our research and evaluation strategies. This work will help us to understand and provide insight into the challenges and difficulties faced by families with disabled children, the quality of services we provide and the difference our support makes for the families we serve.

You will ensure that the voice of families is at the centre of our research and evaluation approach to help shape existing and new programmes and services, and our policy and public affairs work.

• Leading the continued development and implementation of Family Fund’s research and evaluation strategies.
• Developing and overseeing our evaluation and service quality frameworks, including our Theory of Change outcomes measurement framework.

About you

For this role you will need to have experience in developing and managing research and evaluation strategies, frameworks, activities and production of subsequent products. You will also need to have experience of working in partnership with other organisations, and of resource and budget management.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills as well as sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodology and best practice through the research cycle. You will need to have good writing skills and an ability to communicate effectively with different audiences. You will also need to have the ability to interpret and present research in an accessible and engaging way.

You will be a self and team motivator with excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be pro-active and driven to succeed.

About the Role

• Support the operational management of the Youth Service, assisting the Youth Services Manager with the day-to-day leadership, coordination, and development of youth programmes across North West London.
• Line manage and support Youth Support Workers, providing supervision, guidance, and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery and achievement of programme objectives.
• Deliver direct support to neurodivergent young people and families through one-to-one sessions, group activities, courses, and peer support programmes that improve understanding, wellbeing, and quality of life
• Undertake administrative, project management, and strategic planning activities, including scheduling appointments, creating content, facilitating groups, monitoring service delivery, and ensuring funder requirements are met.

In this role, you will join the CAAS Youth Services Team as we work to educate, empower and improve quality of life for neurodivergent individuals, their families, and the communities they live in.

We work in a variety of settings, so a flexible approach is essential.

Some evening or weekend work may be required depending on scheduled sessions

Job Description

Join our team as a Curriculum Specialist, helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession by leading on the final stages of our flagship Rethinking Curriculum project and developing curriculum-related content and resources for members of the Chartered College of Teaching.

Job Title - Curriculum Specialist

Reports To - Associate Director for Research and Policy

Salary - £38,000 - £42,000 per annum dependent on experience

Contract - Full-time or part-time considered, fixed term until 31st March 2027

Hours - A full working week is 35 hours. We are open to full time or part time candidates.

The Opportunity

Our organisation supports teachers to make a difference to the lives of millions of children worldwide. Our Research and Policy team, within which this role will be situated, works to connect research, policy and practice through internally and externally funded research projects, thought leadership work as well as online and face-to-face events.

Over the duration of the contract, you will:

• lead the final phase of delivery of our Rethinking Curriculum project with a focus on delivering sustainable impact for the future;
• update the College’s existing curriculum Toolkits, so they align with ongoing updates of the National Curriculum;
• refine an online course on creative and critical thinking, transitioning from a cohort-based model to a self-paced model;
• oversee and chair an online events portfolio relating to the project;
• support the organisation and delivery of an in-person book launch and celebration event to mark the culmination of the project;
• contribute to the final report of the project;
• develop the existing Rethinking Curriculum Evaluation Framework to extend so could be suitable for secondary settings, particularly KS3 to support transition;
• develop a strategy for and launch a curriculum-focused special interest group (SIG) for members to support the legacy of the Rethinking Curriculum project;
• support the Fellow engagement strategy at the College by organising relevant, curriculum-related roundtables to support the legacy of the Rethinking Curriculum project;
• oversee project finances under the guidance of the Associate Director for Research and Policy;
• develop a suite of relevant resources to support schools in implementing changes following the consultation for the new National Curriculum;
• ensure funder requirements for the delivery and closure of the project are met;
• represent the Chartered College of Teaching at relevant events.

This would be an ideal opportunity for somebody with a strong background in curriculum development. You will:

• have autonomy for the delivery of the final stages of our flagship Rethinking Curriculum project;
• work collaboratively with many of the team across the organisation, supporting recruitment and retention of our members;

About You

Curriculum development is a key priority area for the government and therefore for school leaders and teachers in England.

• Experience liaising with funders and managing a project, including a project budget;
• Experience organising and delivering professional events, including conferences, roundtables, workshops or other engagement activities.

• Educated with a higher degree in education and/or Chartered Teacher Status;

Shaftesbury is happy to consider fundraiser or officer level candidates looking to step up into their first manager level role. At present this role doesn’t line manage, so management experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate project or product management skills, an enthusiasm for fundraising, familiarity with supporter journeys, creative thinking and will have experience within a UK based charity in either IG and legacies, community fundraising, corporate or philanthropy.

At present this role doesn’t line manage, so management experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate project or product management skills, an enthusiasm for fundraising, familiarity with supporter journeys, creative thinking and will have experience within a UK based charity in either IG and legacies, community fundraising, corporate or philanthropy.

Key responsibilities:

To work jointly with the Mental Health Practitioner in conducting assessments, including risk assessment, and to work with patients to support them in identifying their socially determined needs and goals, provide self-management tools and facilitate the development of personal support plans

• To support and supervise any peer support workers linked to PCN
• To work with the service to identify opportunities to expand provision particularly in local communities where there is a lack of service provision identified

SLRA is a frontline community organisation established in 1991 which supports refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in crisis in South London. The Role 

This is a key role in ensuring that we continue to secure the resources we need to provide our vital services and activities for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants in South London. As Fundraising Manager for SLRA, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our fundraising strategy, building relationships with donors and exceeding fundraising goals. We are predominantly funded by Trusts and Foundations and you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding this funder base, while helping to diversify our income streams in order to ensure that established services and activities are sustained.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a conscientious and organised individual to lead the management of reserves across Shropshire, ensuring they are in good ecological condition and developed as safe, inspiring places for public access, education, research and demonstration. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for wildlife and nature, combined with practical experience in habitat and estate management. You will have experience carrying out inspections, planning and directing work, as well as managing wildlife projects, including budget management.

You will be a personable, well-organised individual who enjoys working with a wide range of people. You will have experience supporting and directing colleagues through mentoring or coaching, managing and motivating volunteer groups, and supervising contractors. You will also be confident working independently, using your initiative and managing your workload with minimal supervision.
