About the Role

The core purpose of the challenge events coordinator role is to plan and deliver a portfolio of established challenge events to generate income, engage our supporters and raise awareness of SIA’s wider work. Working closely with the philanthropy and events manager, this role will help to grow, diversify, and sustain fundraising income as part of the wider business development team, feeding into the 2030 strategy.

SIA’s vision is a fulfilled life for everyone affected by spinal cord injury with the aim to double the number of members accessing our network of services – this role connects companies and individuals with our work providing a platform to engage the public with our cause. The plays a key part in developing innovative, cost-effective, fundraising opportunities that will appeal to supporters, ensuring they are financially, actively, and emotionally engaged with SIA.

SIA delivers an array of challenge events including the London Marathon, accessible adventure challenge, overseas bike ride and superhero triathlon alongside support for individuals who choose to support SIA through their own sponsored challenge. We continually review and update our portfolio of events to ensure we offer a range of appealing, inclusive and innovative events. The challenge events coordinator will play a vital part in developing and shaping our future events with the guidance of the philanthropy and events manager.

As challenge events coordinator, you will work with individual and corporate supporters as an ambassador for the cause securing support for the events you deliver. Relationship management is a key part of the role specifically,

• Providing excellent stewardship to supporters taking part in their own sponsored fundraising activities in support of SIA.
• Promoting SIA’s work and challenge event opportunities amongst professional networks and organisations. This will include delivering pitches and presentations as well as attending events where appropriate.
• Working collaboratively with the services team and fundraising colleagues to build relationships with supporters and promote fundraising activities across the charity.
• Highlighting new opportunities to engage and raise income from corporate partners, business members and event fundraisers.

We're looking for a confident Policy Manager, with at least four years' experience, to lead RNIB's policy work across key areas affecting blind and partially sighted people.

In this role, you will manage your own policy area while overseeing the delivery of impactful, evidence-based policy that influences decision-makers and drives real change. You'll line manage a team of Policy Leads, providing clear strategic direction, supporting their development and ensuring consistent, high-quality output.

Working closely with colleagues across campaigns, public affairs and social action, you'll oversee the development of policy positions, influencing plans, briefings and reports rooted in robust evidence, lived experience and insight. You'll champion the meaningful involvement of blind and partially sighted people in our policy development and ensure RNIB speaks with one clear, authoritative voice.

We’re looking for a confident, skilled, and personable Digital Project Manager to help us deliver our ambitious roadmap of projects.

You’ll lead on the delivery digital, creative, UX, campaign and content-based projects. This’ll include everything from the digital and content elements of major campaigns, through to developing new digital tools or content to help people live well with MS.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Lead digital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within time, cost, risk, and quality parameters.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and risks, addressing and escalating changes and impacts on timelines and budgets promptly.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and develop communication plans to keep them and the organisation up to date with project progress and performance.

About the role

This role leads our income generation and communications function, playing a central part in securing the charity’s long-term sustainability and growth.

Support Coordinator

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Life After Stroke Service based across Cornwall.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11376 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Mid Cornwall and West Cornwall. However, Frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week x 2 posts available (one is a maternity cover contract)

Salary: Circa £19,400 per annum (FTE circa £28,300 per annum)

The Role

The service aims to identify and provide key worker support to meet the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway. Providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

About The Advocacy Project

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Independent Advocate to join our team on a zero-hours contract. This role involves providing high-quality advocacy support across various disciplines, ensuring individuals have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.

You will work with people in hospitals, care homes, their own homes, and within the community, supporting them to understand their rights and choices. The role requires travel across London.

Under the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the post holder will be required to visit CQC registered care homes and would be subject to government requirements.

RideWise is an East Midlands based charity helping people and communities travel more actively, sustainably and confidently. Through cycle training, led rides, community projects and practical support, we make cycling, walking and greener transport more accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Resource Manager to play a key role in the smooth running of our cycle training and sustainable travel services. This is a hands-on coordination role at the heart of our charity, supporting our freelance instructor team, operational systems, project delivery and client relationships.

You will help make sure instructors have the information, resources and support they need, that records and compliance documents are accurate and up to date, and that our services continue to be delivered safely, professionally and effectively. You will work closely with our Project Managers and wider team, helping to keep communication flowing and knowledge shared across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, is confident juggling priorities, and takes pride in making systems work well. You might come from an operations, administration, project coordination, training, community delivery or service support background. Experience in cycling, active travel, charities or community programmes would be helpful, but your organisation, communication skills and practical approach are most important.

The role is home-based, with very occasional travel to Nottingham (around once a year). You will be part of a friendly, purpose-driven team, with the opportunity to learn more about cycle training, Bikeability and sustainable travel delivery. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust as our new Project Manager - National Cycle Network, working within the Delivery Team to lead the successful delivery of active travel infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone with exceptional project management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. While some technical knowledge of active travel is important, the focus of this role is on leading complex projects, coordinating teams, and driving collaboration to achieve sustainable, high-quality outcomes.

As Project Manager - National Cycle Network (Network Development Manager), you will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects that enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. As Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of our Healthcare Services. As our CQC Registered Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the team and assuring effective and safe services for people with ME of all ages and their families.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will also play a pivotal role in developing our services, drive performance and optimise processes, and enhance service delivery to take action with impact to better support individuals living with ME.

Job Purpose   

Working closely with the Director of Operations, the Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and developing Action for ME’s clinical Healthcare Services, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care for individuals affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). The postholder will be responsible for clinical oversight, service development, and leadership, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes for children and adults with ME and will be the CQC Registered Manager for the service.  

At present, Healthcare Services is a small team with two physiotherapists and one doctor (specialist GP), with plans to recruit more.

We are keen to develop and expand our services, building on the small amount of spot purchasing from local commissioning boards and exploring a diagnosing and prescribing offer. We are also keen to explore the potential of increasing the range of disciplines offered within the team. You will play a key role in contributing to, and delivering, the strategy for our Healthcare Services.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Provide clinical support and expertise to Action for ME's Healthcare Services, ensuring evidence-based, person-centred care.  
• Act as Registered Manager for CQC (Care Quality Commission) purposes and ensure that the service meets all required standards.   
• Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and best practices in line with national guidelines and regulatory requirements.  
• Supervise and support healthcare professionals within the service, offering guidance, mentorship, and training.

Qualifications
