Location: Harlow, Essex. Regular travel required to London and Scotland. Harlow is Easily commutable from London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale Station. We offer a free minibus service to/from Harlow Town Train Station as well as free parking and EV charging on site.

Extra Information: Open to conversation on hybrid, flexible and compressed working arrangements. Regular travel to London and Scotland is required including Government meetings.

About the role:

Lead the Scheme Oversight function to ensure the Motability Scheme consistently delivers choice, value for money and excellent customer service for disabled people. The role includes setting the Oversight strategy, developing the Scheme’s performance management framework, reporting on performance to internal/external parties and assisting/managing key stakeholder relationships across Motability Foundation, Motability Operations and Government departments. 

What you will be doing:

Policy and Planning: 

• Monitor UK Government policy and proposals with material impact on the Scheme; coordinate Motability’s position and implications for Oversight. 

• Lead annual Oversight strategy refresh and contribute to Motability’s Strategic Plan. 

• Chair (or deputise for Director at) Scheme Oversight governance forums and ensure well‑prepared agendas, papers and decisions flow to Governors and SOC. 

• Undertake ad hoc projects to develop Motability or Scheme services as required. 

Governance & Performance Monitoring: 

• Manage the contractual relationship between Motability Foundation and its service providers in a collaborative manner. 

• Own the Oversight performance framework (KPIs, targets, thresholds) and coordinate performance reporting activities to provide monthly updates to key stakeholders. 

• Lead operational reviews of Motability Operations’ delivery, commissioning deep dives where issues or opportunities are identified. 

• Sponsor customer satisfaction and experience measurement across Scheme services, ensuring findings inform improvements. 

Leadership: 

• Act as a liaison between Motability Foundation and Motability Operations, ensuring collaborative & effective oversight. 

• Own key relationships within the Motability Operations executive leadership, Motability Foundation 

• Board and key Government officials. 

• Build a high‑performing oversight team culture of openness, integrity, and collaborative challenge; set and monitor KPIs. 

Your experience:

Must haves:

• A successful track record at senior executive level. 

• Experienced in strategic planning and performance management within a customer focussed organisation. 

• Experience of working with Government departments or regulators. 

• Experience in negotiating and managing commercial contracts. 

• High level of financial and analytical skills. 

• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative performance standards. 

• Experienced in preparation of complex reports. 

• Awareness of current government including European, economic and business issues. 

• Strong communication skills, written, verbal, presentation. 

• Inspirational individual, passionate about customer service.

The Day Service Lead is crucial in supporting the daily operations of our day services programmes, providing essential assistance to individuals in our care.

This position involves working closely with the people we support and their parent/carers to enhance their well-being, promote independence, and facilitate engaging activities and new opportunities by being creative and inspiring and motivating people.

As a Day Service Lead, you will support, encourage and guide a team of Day Service Assistants, lead by example, and share good practice through your own service delivery.

As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will look after the organisation’s IT systems every day. This includes both on‑premise systems and cloud‑based systems. You will also handle advanced technical support when issues are escalated. 

Another key part of your job is helping to plan and deliver IT projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical support and carry out daily maintenance on the organisation’s IT systems and applications
• Act as the technical lead for IT projects that support the organisation’s overall IT strategy
• Handle complex technical issues that the IT support team cannot resolve
• Lead the setup, maintenance, and administration of the organisation’s hardware, software, and core systems

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex IT projects with a small, dedicated team, and engaging in advanced IT trouble-shooting and problem-solving. There will be opportunities to explore and implement new technologies as we migrate physical systems to the cloud.

The Role

The Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership position designed to bridge the gap between the CEO’s strategic vision and the frontline delivery of services.

• You’ll act as the lead for Safeguarding and GDPR, ensuring all staff follow best practices and that the centre remains a safe, confidential space for vulnerable residents.

Essential Experience

• You’ll be "tech-literate” and will be comfortable using databases (CRMs) and proficient in using a range of Microsoft software.

• You’ll be a strong communicator and will be able able to build rapport with a range of stakeholders

Programme design, quality & scale

• You’ll own how Level Water’s programmes are designed, delivered, and grown - now and into the future.

• Set the strategic direction for our lesson delivery model, ensuring it scales without losing quality, care, or joy.

• Lead and develop the Programmes team, setting clear priorities, standards, and ways of working.

• Ensure programmes are safe, inclusive, effective, and consistently high-quality as delivery expands.

• You’ll build the relationships and credibility that enable sustainable programme growth and wider change.

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with national pool operators and delivery partners.

• Secure and manage national agreements that unlock scale and improve access.

• Work closely with Fundraising to shape strong, realistic programme content for grants and funding proposals.

• Own the programme side of grant-funded delivery, ensuring work is well planned, delivered to a high standard, and reported with clarity and confidence.

• Represent Level Water externally as a credible, influential voice in inclusive swimming, helping to shift culture and practice across the sector.

We are seeking a compassionate and organised individual to join our Clinics Support Team as a Patient Liaison Officer (PLO). This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver charity-led support within specialist paediatric clinics at Great Ormond Street Hospital, working alongside NHS multi-disciplinary teams while remaining part of a close-knit and supportive charity team.

About the Role

As a Patient Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring families feel prepared, supported and heard before, during and after their clinic appointments. You will provide emotional and practical support, advocacy and system navigation, helping families to understand their care and access appropriate support, while referring more complex casework to BBS UK’s specialist Advice Service.

You will:

• Support families before, during and after NHS Highly Specialised BBS clinic appointments

• Facilitate clinic attendance by preparing families for appointments, addressing concerns and helping to reduce “Did Not Attend” rates

• Attend specialist BBS clinics at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and St Thomas' Hospital, providing on-the-day support to families and clinicians (Approximately 2-4 days per month)

• Act as a key point of contact between families and clinical teams, supporting communication and information-sharing

• Provide light-touch advocacy, information and signposting in relation to health, education, social care and local authority support

• Identify unmet needs or emerging issues during clinic interactions and refer families to the BBS UK Advice Service for specialist advocacy and follow-up

• Support families during key transition points, particularly the move from paediatric to adult services

• Maintain accurate and confidential records using BBS UK’s CRM system (CharityLog)

• Contribute to service evaluation, quality improvement and the wider work of BBS UK

This is a home-based role with attendance at clinics in central London and occasional travel to other clinic sites and BBS UK events. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with BBS UK policies.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in supporting children and families, who can work confidently in a clinic-based, people-facing role.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Experience working with children, young people and families, ideally within health, social care, education or the voluntary sector

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with families experiencing distress or uncertainty

• Experience providing emotional and practical support to individuals with complex or long-term conditions

• Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work independently

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management/CRM systems (e.g. CharityLog)

• Understanding of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries

• A strong commitment to improving outcomes for people living with rare or complex conditions

The Role

As Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in generating the income needed to sustain and grow our services. Headway Gloucestershire was established in 1987 and since then we have been working to make a positive difference to the lives of adults with an acquired brain injury. We provide specialist recovery support and respite through our centre-based Day Service, and outreach support through our Community Hubs and Community Links Service. We provide group and one to one sessions to support individuals.

Open every weekday, Headway House is at the heart of Headway Gloucestershire. We provide a structured programme of activities for individuals to choose from. Our programme is designed to support participants to work toward their own recovery goals and gain insight into strategies that support individuals to manage the physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional and behavioural outcomes which can occur following an acquired brain injury. Peer group sessions enable us to harness the recovery benefits of peer contact and support.

The Day Lead will be responsible for the organisation, planning, development and delivery of Headway Gloucestershire’s programme of activities.

Responsibilities include:

• To deliver professional, impartial, enabling and outcome focused support to Individuals with acquired brain injury. To provide support for clients with complex needs to support their recovery, wellbeing, independence and autonomy.
• Work closely with the Strategic Enablement and Hub Manager to ensure successful delivery of services.
• Networking with community providers to enrich our offer to enable us to meet the needs of individuals with acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire.

The role:

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead and expand the RHN’s income generation and manage and drive a high performing team.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for generating income from all fundraising income streams: Community, Events, Corporate, Trusts and Foundations, Legacy and Direct Mail (Donor Development). They will oversee all aspects of fundraising, including developing and implementing the Fundraising Strategy, managing key donor relationships, driving forward any capital appeals and leading a team of fundraising professionals.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate, positive and highly experienced individual with a proven track record in senior fundraising roles within the charity sector and experience of successful income generation.  Candidates must be skilled on donor stewardship and stakeholder engagement, as well as being a confident and engaging public speaker.  Knowledge of fundraising standards and best practice are essential.

Main objectives of the role:

• Establish fundraising priorities and set fundraising goals in line with the wider organisational strategy
• Achieve the fundraising target and KPIs
• Lead on the organisation of a full calendar of fundraising events and activity and ensure applications are made in a timely manner
• Engage with Fellows, Trustees and volunteers to ensure wider RHN engagement
