About the role

You will have the opportunity to contribute to increasing the size and quality of the prospect pipeline. You will undertake comprehensive research in various formats, both proactively and upon request from the fundraising teams.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a healthy prospect pipeline, producing insightful background research on donors, conducting due diligence, and ensuring our database is up to date and compliant with GDPR and the charity's policies. About you

We are looking for someone with experience and understanding of philanthropy, fundraising practices, and donor motivations, as well as a broad understanding of the UK non-profit sector. About the role

Main Responsibilities

To provide emotional support over the telephone and through our written platforms to people living with and affected by diabetes. The role involves proactively updating your knowledge of diabetes and key issues by reading relevant information updates. To be a team player, contributing to a positive, supportive environment and undertake any reasonable task as requested by a manager appropriate to the role.

Ideal Candidate

You will be able to communicate health information clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences, with the aim to support customer queries to the best of your ability. You will be able to show resilience and manage the everyday pressures which can occur during a live service and prioritise your workload to meet customer satisfaction and service level agreements. You will be able to handle distressing calls in real-time by listening carefully and allowing the customers to feel safe in sharing with us. You will be confident and competent in using IT and different IT packages and programmes, with an openness and willingness to learn new IT systems, such as a new CRM.

Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

This role plays a pivotal part in planning and delivering marketing and communications activities to key audiences, such as supporters, volunteers, journalists, ambassadors and staff. Integrated marketing campaigns are integral to Sands’ growth and are key to driving brand awareness, reach, engagement, income growth and social change.

The duties of the role include writing, editing, co-ordinating and publishing content across various channels, including Sands’ website, social media, email, and print and online marketing materials. You will need to work closely with other internal teams to plan and implement communications and marketing campaigns to drive awareness or income, while progressively improving organisational understanding of what works for different audiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a People Systems and Insight Analyst with experience in systems, data and reporting, and has strong analytical skills to join our passionate team.

As part of the People and Culture Directorate, you will play a critical role in managing and optimising our people systems. You’ll be enhancing the functionality of our systems and processes, so that we work efficiently and effectively, and our workforce has a seamless ‘user experience’.

Not only will you use your strong insight and analytical skills to investigate a range of internal and external data sets, you’ll also find compelling ways of presenting data to help us to answer key questions about our people and will actively make evidence-based recommendations that move us closer towards our goals.

But this is not just a number crunching job – to be successful in this role, you will be driven to seek out continuous improvements. You’ll be a strong and engaging collaborator and a skilled project manager, who builds relationships across the directorate, the leadership team and the wider organisation with ease. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Manage and optimise our people systems, enhancing the functionality of our systems and processes, and resolving issues as needed to ensure a seamless ‘user experience’ for our workforce.
• Responsible for internal and external reporting, supporting various business processes (e.g. establishment, payroll and budget, workforce planning, benchmarking).
• Produce bespoke reports and dashboards for a variety of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to support data-driven insight.
• Generate strong, evidence-based analyses and recommendations, and present data to colleagues in a concise and compelling way to improve organisational understanding of people data and insight.
• Identify and design improvements to our people systems and processes as needs arise, to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage, deliver and contribute to projects related to our systems and processes, in collaboration with the key stakeholders.

WHAT DO I NEED?

The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:

• Significant experience of working with people systems (HRIS, ATS), including trouble-shooting, making improvements and implementing required changes and updates.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract, collate and manipulate data from a variety of data sources.
• Proven experience of analysing and interpreting data and disseminating findings and recommendations in engaging ways.
• Experience in using data visualisation software (e.g., PowerBI).
• Demonstrable experience of making improvements to processes and systems.
• Project management skills with ability to deliver cross-functional projects through effective management of internal and external stakeholders.
• A collaborative, partnership-oriented approach, with a passion to make a difference.

Legacy and In Memory Manager

The Legacy and In Memory Manager will take ownership of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex's (KSS's) approach to Legacy and In Memory Giving.

Main Responsibilities:

- Deliver and oversee all day-to-day activity around legacy and in memory fundraising, ensuring campaigns and activity are effectively coordinated and that broader teams are enabled to support delivery
- Own, develop and deliver a range of impactful, innovative and insight-led fundraising campaigns to a range of audiences, and produce accurate and regular campaign evaluations, providing future recommendations
- Drive forward KSS Legacy Fundraising strategy and look to implement an In Memory Giving fundraising strategy to increase income
- Lead on the development and delivery of the In Memory fundraising programme including the creation of a tribute fund programme
- Establish, develop and maximise the potential of tribute funds at KSS and manage the relationships with associated families/supporters.
- Identify new ways to increase the efficiency of campaigns and activity by developing, testing and evaluating new approaches to donor acquisition, retention and engagement.
- Work with colleagues within marketing and other teams to implement new methods, and channels that deliver scalable growth.
- Own the welcome experience for in memory donors and those who have enquired about legacies, and work collaboratively to ensure that ongoing processes for thanking, stewardship and donation processing are effective.
- Implement and continuously review processes and practices to ensure that a high level of supporter service is maintained
- Manage and develop the relationship with all external agencies and providers who are engaged in our lottery and in memory

About you:

- Experience of delivering income growth within Legacy and In Memory giving, whilst delivering excellent service to all supporters
- Experience of using databases to input, update and extract supporter or customer data
- Experience of coordinating activities across different teams
- Knowledge of Gift Aid
- Knowledge of GDPR
