Working closely with the Head of Programmes and colleagues, you will manage the delivery of EPIC Restart's national programmes, working hands-on to support and manage a wide range of in-person and online activities, embedding good project management principles across our programmes and driving successful outcomes.

70% of our team and trustees have experienced gambling harm either directly or indirectly. Lived experience is an advantage but not an essential requirement for this role, as you will be collaborating with colleagues who bring their lived experience insights to inform our activities. Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00 (midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs. 

This role is for our Ealing Safe Space, 4:30pm - 11:30pm. You may be required to cover at other locations across Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc. 
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
• To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
• To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
• To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis.
• To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.

The Role

The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one and group basis. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service.

Placement Manager

We are looking for a Placement Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. Help Counselling Centre is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online.  We are also a well-established training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training providers in London.

About Help

Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.

This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.

About the job

Reporting to the Help Director, the job is to ensure the smooth and effective running of the training placement process in line with BACP requirements.

This will include providing clinical support and expertise to the Help Director; managing and assuring the quality of the counsellor recruitment process; handling counsellor issues; overseeing weekly client allocations and reallocations; handling queries and managing relationships with clients, counsellors and supervisors; reviewing and enhancing clinical policies.

Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20. 

We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.

 Key responsibilities

· Provide clinical support and expertise to the Help Director as required.

· Manage and oversee process of new counsellor recruitment, ensuring all new counsellors are interviewed and vetted against a suitable set of standards and controls. 

· Manage paperwork required by Training Organisations in relation to Trainee Counsellors at the beginning and during their placement. 

· Being available to support Trainee Counsellors on clinical placement with Help.

· Manage the Cause for Concern’ procedure with Trainee Counsellors and Supervisors as and when they arise. This will include ensuring appropriate record-keeping and taking appropriate action to ensure counsellors are working safely and within the BACP ethical framework. 

· Provide a point of escalation for client, counsellor or supervision queries. 

· Manage and oversee weekly client allocations and reallocations. 

· Manage any queries raised from Assessments and manage any declined clients 

· Assist in the periodic review and creation of appropriate clinical policies and procedures. Provide input into policies and procedures based on changes to best practice guidelines issued by professional bodies. 

The Candidate

Education & experience: Counselling or Psychotherapy Qualification, BACP or UKCP professional membership, 3-5 years' post-qualification experience. Experience of working within a training environment within the same industry highly desirable.

About the role

Our Workplace Wellbeing Team has grown considerably in the past few years, and we take pride in delivering great training and raising awareness about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. This role will play an important part in supporting that growth by maintaining and building on existing customer relationships and forming new ones, and working towards targets to generate an income for our services. Hillside Clubhouse operates an established Employment Advice (EA) service integrated into NHS Talking Therapies (iCope).  The programme aims to support Islington residents who are assessed within iCope and who require employment advice.

The EAs in iCope initiative was designed as an integrated employment and mental health service to improve both mental health and employment outcomes. EAs are part of the iCope team and work alongside therapists to provide employment support to help iCope clients remain in work, return to work, or find employment.  This takes the form of personalised support for the client backed up by an action plan detailing the client’s employment goals and the actions that the client, the therapist, and the EA agree to take to meet these goals.  

  

Overall aim 

iCope (Talking Therapies) is an NHS Programme that provides evidence based psychological therapies to treat people with mild to moderate and moderate to severe depression and anxiety disorders.  

The new Employment Advisor (EA) will work within the Islington NHS Talking Therapies provision. They will work one-to-one with a caseload of between 25-35 clients referred by NHS Talking Therapies therapists to find employment, remain in existing work if they are struggling, improve their working environment, return to work following sickness or positively leave or retire from work. 

You will primarily fulfil these duties by providing information, advice and guidance to clients who choose to receive employment support. The support aims to empower clients to make better decisions about their working lives, as well as communicate better with colleagues and managers in existing roles. You will also signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate. 

This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources, recruitment, or a desire to transfer their skills into the mental health support sector.  

Method of working 

EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

1. Engage a mixed caseload of clients at any given time serving 100-125 per year, with common mental health problems, to establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them to find new employment or support them in, or to leave, existing employment. Support will be provided face-to-face in Talking Therapies settings, via secure online meeting platforms or over the telephone. 

2. Along with their NHS clinician, assess clients’ support needs with a view to creating, implementing, and adjusting a personalised action plan to help improve clients’ mental health and achieve their stated employment goals.

3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to support clients to find work, including career guidance, job searching skills, CV preparation, application form completion, interview skills, advice on local labour market opportunities and advice on education and training to further their career. 

4. Provide guidance to support clients to stay in existing work, including advice on mental health disclosure, negotiating reasonable adjustments to existing workplaces, creating wellness action plans, and improving productivity, support to return to work after sickness absence or to leave an existing role with dignity, and signpost clients to organisations that can represent them (EAs should only look to represent clients in exceptional circumstances). 

5. Facilitate access to other advice in areas such as financial benefits, debt management, food banks and community food outlets and social housing providers, as necessary. 

6. Work directly with partners like Jobcentre Plus, other employment providers, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to support clients to stay in employment and secure employment opportunities. 

7. Build a constant flow of referrals from the clinical team to ensure a dynamic and mixed caseload.

8. Meet referral and performance targets in line with the specific KPI / SLA requirements of the service. 

9. Regularly attend team and other meetings as reasonably expected. 

10. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring both the NHS and Hillside Clubhouse databases are kept up to date and paperwork compliant.

11. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organisation’s needs. 

12. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.

13. Comply with and actively promote all Hillside policies and procedures including Equality and Diversity, safeguarding and data protection. 

14. Perform other tasks as required by your manager. 

The role holder must also:

About the role
Alzheimer’s Society Local Services teams provide exceptional information, advice and guidance for people affected by dementia.  As a Local Services Manager, you will be home based, leading and inspiring geographically dispersed teams, whilst working as part of a wider Area Management Team, to deliver these fantastic services. 

As a Local Services Manager you will have the rewarding opportunity to manage dementia services across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. 

You will provide local operational leadership and management to support the Regional Manager to deliver the Society’s strategy. The role will lead local delivery of high quality, person-centred, safe and secure dementia services and lead the implementation of operational business management systems.  You will champion the delivery of quality in everything we do, ensuring that people affected by dementia are at the heart of our service delivery.

About you
You will have a strong working experience of the Health and Social Care sector and have experience of leading teams to deliver high performance outcomes to excellent quality standards, including through periods of significant change. As we support many diverse groups across the Greater Manchester area, particularly within the South Asian Community, we would encourage applicants that are bi-lingual or multi-lingual to apply. Examples of additional languages within these communities are typically Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Bengali.

Holder House is set in the leafy neighbourhood of Abingdon and provides care and support to 14 people from 18+ living with, and recovering from, enduring mental health issues. The Team Manager reports to and will be supported by the Registered Manager. 

As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, you will line manage front line staff and organise any building maintenance requirements. Whether you’re carrying out an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or providing support to our business development team, one thing’s for sure – you won't be short of challenge and variety. We’re currently working towards being awarded ‘Outstanding’ at our next CQC inspection and you will play an integral part in helping us to achieve this.

Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being outcome driven and able to lead by example using your firm but inclusive management style. Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. From 1st June 2024 Richmond Fellowship will be merging with the mental health charity Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. NAPAC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Coordinator to focus on marketing and selling our training programmes to external clients in public and private sectors. This entry-level (or above) role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals in the early stages of their career in business development, with a focus on promoting training solutions in the field of trauma support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an in-depth understanding of the sales process, a proactive attitude, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of survivors of childhood abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

1. With support, develop and implement a strategic business development plan to market and sell NAPAC's training programmes to external clients, including organisations, agencies, and professionals in fields such as policing, mental health, social work, education and others.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and stakeholders to understand their training needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
3. Embrace and enthusiastically engage in the sales pipeline process, from lead generation to closing deals, demonstrating persistence and determination to achieve sales targets.
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive positioning strategies for NAPAC's training offerings.
5. Promote NAPAC's training programmes through various channels, including direct outreach, networking events, conferences, and digital marketing initiatives.

Skills and experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, psychology, social work or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Solid understanding of sales principles and the pipeline process, customer relationship management, and marketing concepts.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Events team at The Not Forgotten as a hands-on operational Events Manager. We are looking for a professional events coordinator who seeks greater autonomy and managerial responsibility, while still being an expert at and willing to deliver the nuts and bolts of a wide variety of events within a very small team. This is all about exceptional people skills, pragmatic event delivery and ensuring maximum impact for our beneficiaries/benefactors/supporters in support of the Head of Events (Delivery) and Head of Fundraising. 

Overall responsibility of the job: Working in support of Head of Events (Delivery) and Head of Fundraising, to be TNF Events Manager; coordinating events as part of a small team. The position supports the delivery of a diverse national events programme and some international activities.

Your Role: As an event professional, ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in an event coordination role and be ready to grow into a role with greater responsibility and autonomy. This is a hands-on event coordination role in a small team. Having a diplomatic and friendly manner with strong verbal and written communication skills, will be essential towards building relationships both internally and externally and while communicating with volunteers and beneficiaries. Event management/coordination skills are a key priority within this position, (especially delegate/beneficiary and event administration), combined with a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work with strong IT and data management skills. Being able to prioritise a varied and busy workload and deliver to deadlines. Due to the nature of this exciting position within the charity, there is a requirement to attend events and meetings outside of normal working hours (including weekends) and travel as necessary, along with a relationship with beneficiaries, supporters, and gatekeepers.
