Our Bank Support Worker roles are similar to our Support Workers roles, but they work on a more flexible, temporary basis – so if you don’t want to commit to a regular working pattern and prefer to pick up shifts that work for you, when they are available, this role is for you. It's also a great way into the organisation and can be a stepping stone to other roles. 

 is one of our 24-hour supported accommodation projects; it houses 29 young people aged 16 to 25 for up to 2 years, offering high to medium support with a support team, night team and management based onsite. Situated near the town centre in Worthing, the project has strong links with and contributes to the local community.

We are looking for Supported Housing Bank Support Workers to join the Worthing Foyer team - you will bring your own individual and unique qualities to the team for the betterment of the team dynamic. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the services, along with supporting young people to develop living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking and securing employment and making wise decisions. When required you will record any incidents, accidents and safeguarding issues and share information with relevant colleagues. You will also undertake housing management and health and safety-related tasks as required. 

This role has a flexible range of shifts; the hours can include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

What will I be doing?

What skills will I need?

• Relevant experience of reporting and data analysis techniques and statistics gained in an organisation or agency, ideally with complex marketing and comms landscape.

• Relevant experience of using Power BI, familiar with creating advanced data models and DAX language, using outputs to make actionable dashboards and insights.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (experience in creating macros advantageous but not essential).

• Experience of Google Analytics advantageous but not essential.

• Experience of leading and delivering projects with proven impact and demonstrating excellent project management and planning skills with ability to prioritise workload.

• Strategic skills (including analysis, structured thinking, and logical reasoning) and strong accuracy and numeracy, with good attention to detail.

• Evidence of proactive behaviours, and ability to work independently, challenges own performance, invests in own development and finds innovative solutions to problems.

Programme Manager

About the Role

The charity is leading on the Inclusion strand of the programme, delivering training to education professionals in 70 schools across London. The charity is working in partnership with Tender, a charity specialising in the prevention of gender-based violence and the promotion of healthy relationships between children and young people. In particular, you will be responsible for leading the established (2022) programme to keep children supported, and thriving in school, tackle exclusions, and ensure children and young people have healthy relationship behaviours and attitudes.

The Programme Manager will:

About this job

The post holder will work with partners to support young people facing multiple/complex disadvantages in the borough, transforming the life trajectories of young people who have become marginalised by local poverty, unemployment, and crime, particularly those from BAME communities who are disproportionately affected by these issues.

Key responsibilities

* Programme Development, Delivery and Leadership: Lead and manage the delivery of the BBG programme, collaborating with partners, stakeholders, and the local community to develop and promote effective interventions, engaging key grassroots partners and young people.
* Community Engagement, Partnerships and Networking: Ensure local communities are informed, fostering a sense of ownership and participation. Develop and strengthen relationships with diverse stakeholders, including local authorities, statutory bodies, and educational institutions to support the programme.
* Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee data collection, monitoring, and evaluation activities to track programme impact and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
* Financial Management and Fundraising: Manage programme budgets, prepare financial reports, and identify opportunities for additional funding to support sustainability.

The Programme Manager will have experience managing multiple projects with a proven track record. The successful candidate will have experience of developing and monitoring programmes against targets and outcomes and managing project budgets. You will understand London's voluntary sector, local community needs and its challenges, particularly related to the youth sector, youth violence and community safety in diverse communities and delivered and evaluated the impact of these initiatives related to the work of Osmani Trust. You will be results-driven and motivated with excellent communication skills and able to adapt and respond to changing requirements positively.

Our programme supporting Higher Technical Education has big ambitions. Known as the ‘missing middle’ of higher education in England, we want to see the declines in level 4 and 5 technical education reversed and more providers emerge who can offer high-quality education and training to help people access highskilled occupations. Key to this transformation is the role of Institutes of Technology (IoTs) – collaborations between further education colleges, universities and employers – and we have been working closely with the National Network of Institutes of Technology to support their success. We are looking for a Project Officer to play an integral part in the successful delivery of this programme, as well as becoming an advocate for Higher Technical Qualifications more broadly. 

This role sits within the small Higher Education Team at Gatsby, and you will work closely with the Project Manager and Director of Programmes to: develop and deliver a range of projects to support our programme objectives; represent Gatsby at external meetings; organise meetings and events; and develop strong working relationships with key partners.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects to support Gatsby’s Higher Technical Education programme, with clear objectives and planning, delivering outputs on time and within budget.
• Research, create and write compelling communications that support programme objectives.
