The Finance Manager will be providing bespoke financial management capacity-building support, ensuring compliance with statutory/funder requirements, and supporting operational/strategic management and planning resources. The role holder is also expected to support HQ Finance function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

B. Provide bespoke financial management capacity-building support to Black and racialized organisations in 8 London boroughs, including supporting groups to:

2. Provide training, and guidance to groups supported on ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory and funder requirements governing the sector, employer responsibilities training, and governance.

3. Support the development and implementation of financial strategies operational/strategic management and planning resources.

4. Provide training and guidance on risk identification and mitigation and annual reports and accounts.

5. Support the delivery of webinars/masterclasses to participants

6. Support developing effective online learning tools and platforms to cascade learning.

7. Support the delivery of a proactive finance service ‘Critical Friend’ providing financial advice, support, scrutiny, and challenge to the organisations.

8. Support groups to plan resources, assess the implications of service proposals, and provide financial modelling and analysis of service options for projects and initiatives.

9. Contribute to the provision of financial support across the Ubele hubs, in forecasting both in-year and future-year income and expenditure, ensuring these are accurate, appropriate, and supported  through activity and performance analysis.

10. Support the Deputy Finance Director as required on a range of financial and management accounting, budgetary, reconciliation, reporting, and payment tasks where relevant, for the designated  service area.

11.Support the Ubele senior leadership team and staff in the development and updating of the project organisational and annual budget to ensure that it supports the outcomes set out in our strategic plan.

The Regional Fundraisers role is to mobilise and maximise local fundraising activities in order to raise income to support the work of the charity.  Working to the Director of Fundraising and with other senior fundraising staff, develop and implement a comprehensive regional fundraising strategy to maximize income generation and donor engagement within the region.  You will be required to be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity as well as identify, cultivate, and grow relationships with community groups, schools, individuals, and corporate donors within the region, focusing on donor retention and growth.  You will also organise and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives within your region, including virtual and in-person events when applicable.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

 We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Overview

1. Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Maximise the contributions and connections with local business and individuals.
3. Coordinate all appeals including The Big Walk across all income and media streams.
4. Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities such as Payroll Giving, Legacies (with help from The Legacy Officer), in Memory Giving and Online Giving.

Supporter Engagement and Stewardship

1. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to The Trust’s supporters.
2.  To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
3.  Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.
4.  Develop and implement Fundraising groups across the UK

Database Management

1. To ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
2.  Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
3.  Train other staff members to support general fundraising.
4.  Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.
5.  Reconcile fundraising income with the Finance Manager, including Gift Aid claims, missed, failed payments and Direct Debit cancellations.

 Individual Giving

1. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
2. Lead the growth of CT100 monthly giving.
3. Work with the Press and PR Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.

Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns

1. Work alongside teams and PR and Communications Manager to promote The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the PR and Communications Manager.
3. Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside PR and Communications Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses and individuals

Staff and Volunteers

1. Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropriate.
2.  Work closely with Head of Operations and PR and Communications Manager  to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.

Wider organisational responsibilities

1. Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
2. Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Operations.
3. Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of The Cinnamon Trust

About the team:

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

• creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;

• sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and

• providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.

This role will coordinate the ‘hub’ resources and content with a focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders.  Specifically, this role will manage an ‘online hub’ for support group leaders and provide an excellent ‘customer experience’ for all support group leaders. You will support the hub innovation.

Together with the Peer Support Hub Lead you’ll take a human centred approach to working with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources and activities (for in person and online).  You’ll build good relationships with support group leaders, building in their insight to develop resources and activities that will support them in their role.

You’ll help kinship carers to sustain their groups, working with colleagues across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), ensuring a joined-up user experience.

The role of the Peer Hub Coordinator will provide operational delivery of the Peer Support Hub. With excellent marketing, communication and digital skills this role will work with the Peer Support Hub Lead to develop an ‘in person’ and online peer support community.

 In this context, your role supports the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. This will be building on and innovating the current Support Group Network.

 Your role will support group leaders to feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.

We are looking for an Administrator to support the Girl experience department. The Girl experience department is a friendly and creative one, responsible for the delivery of our full girl offer, including activity creation and development, events and programmes across Girlguiding.

Working with various teams across the department, including our programme, girl voice and young leader teams, you will provide admin support. Do you have previous experience within fundraising or marketing? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Engagement Officer to join our Community Fundraising Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association!

You'll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, recruiting passionate supporters and managing event logistics to maximise impact.

Assisting with the delivery of our Community Fundraising strategy, you will focus on marketing our portfolio of Community Fundraising products to ensure we meet recruitment, income and expenditure targets.

You will deliver our campaigns using various channels like digital, telephone, face-to-face and print to spread the word and track progress. Contributing to our social media and promotional plans will also be part of your remit.

Maintaining our community fundraising web pages and providing clear information through our email journeys to support individuals will be crucial. You'll also be required to attend some of our fundraising events, ensuring every supporter has a positive experience both leading up to and on the day.

What are we looking for?

Experience in either fundraising or sales/account management, with the ability and motivation to work to targets.

Experience in devising, implementing, and monitoring systems and procedures, coupled with excellent time management skills.

The ability to research, analyse, and collate data is essential, as is a track record of coordinating projects and creating promotional marketing plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator/Receptionist to help establish the Front of House service for the Methodist Church in Britain as it moves into newly refurbished offices in Central London. Working as part of a small Front of House and Facilities team, the post-holder will provide a professional, customer-focused administrative service, helping to promote a sense of community in line with the Church’s mission and values
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the main duties will include:

• Providing a professional and helpful switchboard, meeting room support and reception service;
• Answering enquiries and directing colleagues and visitors using knowledge of the Church’s aims and structures;
• Carry out a range of administrative tasks;
• Supporting the running of the facilities function and helping to maintain the health and safety of everyone in the building.

About You
You are committed to providing a helpful and professional front of house service and you will enjoy being part of the Connexional (support) team of The Methodist Church of Great Britain. Where no two days are the same, you will enjoy using your can-do approach to assist colleagues, visitors and contractors alike.
