About You
Help For Heroes are looking for a highly skilled, professional, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding clinical team. Are you a committed, flexible OT with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience looking to expand your skills and have the opportunity to work with the Armed Forces Community? If you have the ability to work independently but still enjoy having the support of a team, you could contribute your skills and experience to improve quality of life. Are you happy to embrace a flexible work pattern as the position will involve frequent travel to meet veterans in their own homes and communities and other organisational commitments including inductions, training and team meetings which may require some overnight stays? If you have experience of delivering Occupational Therapy in both physical and mental health conditions, then your holistic approach will help improve lives. Sleep difficulties and sensory needs are a large part of the role to enable veterans to live as they want to so experience in these areas would be beneficial.
About the Role
You will have the opportunity to work in the homes and local communities and be able to support them with physical and mental health needs that are creating barriers to meaningful occupation. By carrying your own defined caseload, you will be able to identify barriers that are affecting veterans’ ability to be as independent as possible and live the life they want to live. You will be assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Occupational Therapy interventions for those who have served our country and improving the quality of life of our Heroes. You will have the opportunity to be creative in your solutions and the community setting will allow you to address these needs in the best environment for the Armed Forces Community. About the Ukraine programme
Since the Russian invasion of 24th February 2022, Ukraine has been subjected to heavy artillery bombardment, missile, and air strikes, as well as the use of landmines and cluster munitions. The scale of the conflict and the use of high impact and indiscriminate weapons requires an urgent and extensive response. MAG responded to the crisis in 2022 and now employs nearly 200 staff in our Ukraine programme, in a range of operational and support/administrative activities with further scale-up planned during 2024. The programme has a representation office in Kyiv, and operational offices in Mykolaiv (also covering accessible areas of Kherson) and now in Kharkiv.
About the role
This role reports to the Country Director (CD) and encompasses a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including managing logistics, procurement, basic financial, and HR services. The Base Manager serves as the primary point of contact for ensuring robust and efficient administration and field coordination. Additionally, this role involves representing MAG in interactions with local authorities, other organizations, and NGOs within the relevant area of operations.
About you
You will have experience working and living overseas, ideally in sensitive conflict or post-conflict environments, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This varied role requires proven experience in implementing and managing logistics, HR, administration, and finance systems.
In the capacity of a security focal point in a high-risk location, you should possess experience in monitoring dynamic security situations and formulating comprehensive security procedures and policies. Our preferred candidate demonstrates a proactive approach, adaptability to address evolving needs, and thrives within a multicultural team environment, exhibiting composure in stressful situations. Proficiency in English is crucial, alongside outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.
They will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in implementing and developing the therapeutic element including intensive therapeutic support, projects, budgets and service planning. This will include:
- Leading, implementing and developing therapeutic projects and service planning.
- Managing Grief Encounter therapists, supervisors, volunteers and placement students.
- Conducting assessments with families, supporting practitioners with complex cases in liaison with supervisors and delivering training.

The Digital Transformation Manager leads THET’s efforts to transform our own programmes of work and the way THET operates, and also that of the Health Partnership community to better incorporate and enable best practice in digital solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the review and delivery of THET’s digital transformation strategy.

We are looking for a Designer to join us for a 12 month fixed term contract, who can hit the ground running and help us to roll out our refreshed brand.
About the role
You’ll be part of the charity’s in-house Creative team and will work closely with teams across the charity to bring our visual content to life through print and digital design.
You’ll take briefs to deliver concepts and layouts in a variety of formats based on audience insight and fresh creative ideas. You’ll make sure all your design work brings our brand to life and reveals the reality of living with Parkinson’s, all while being part of an exciting, highly motivated creative team.
What you’ll do
- Design standout print and digital content from concept to completion, delivering against a clear brief and goals
- Support the Creative team’s aim in delivering a strong visual identity, which considers the needs of people with Parkinson’s and brings our brand to life
- Manage multiple design projects to deliver concepts and layouts in a variety of formats e.g., leaflets, booklets, magazines, newsletters
- Support the creative development and expression of the brand identity through high-impact design
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet clear goals
What you’ll bring
- BA level design qualification or equivalent experience (c. 4 years) of delivering hands-on design across print and digital channels in line with brand guidelines
- Proven professional design experience either working inhouse or agency
- Experience of Adobe CC software packages, particularly fluent in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, experience of Canva and After Effects is desirable
- A motivated, proactive, and engaging style and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
- Highly organised, with the ability to produce design work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present engagingly about your creative concepts and ideas
- Experience of using audience insight to develop effective design
As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week. You’ll be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.

About you
As our Senior Events Manager, you will support a range of high value, high profile fundraising events and high-value stewardship and cultivation across Partnerships and Philanthropy.
You enjoy combining creativity and innovation with more practical responsibilities such as logistics and operations when delivering events. You're highly organised and able to work across a range of priorities and projects. You ideally will already have some fundraising events experience, although not essential. You have strong communication skills enabling you to adapt your style according to your audience; experience of working with high-net-worth individuals or celebrities would be an advantage.
In this role you will expertly deliver critical elements of large-scale and high-profile events including event concept execution, content design, production, guests and committee management. We will also count on you to identify engagement and stewardship opportunities for key high-profile relationships and develop new event concepts that support income growth.
In this role, you may:
- Lead or support on the delivery of a range of high-profile events within the portfolio and/or high-value stewardship and cultivation across Partnerships & Philanthropy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with event committee members, stakeholders and high net worth individuals to maximise income and secure continued committed support.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies to develop relationships and negotiate costs to support a strong ROI on events.
- Provide support for the delivery of the entire total portfolio of events by attending and performing tasks on the day of events delivered by other team members.
To be successful, it is important that you have/are:
- Experience in project management and delivery
- Experience in working with completing priorities
- Income target driven with demonstrable experience of maximising opportunities
- Experience in managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines, deliverables and stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills
- Ability to use creativity and initiative to develop and implement breakthrough ideas and innovations.

About the role:
Our Head of Marketing and Communications provides leadership and operational management of P3’s ambitious communications and marketing department, responsible for driving brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
This post directly line manages and supports three colleagues (with a fourth team-member indirectly managed) with budget management responsibilities of around £100,000.
The Head of Marketing and Communications is responsible for delivering on our core departmental goals:
- Build P3’s brand and reputation
- Help grow staff and volunteer recruitment rates
- Support the increase in staff and volunteer retention
This will be achieved through excellent cross-departmental working, innovative approaches that leverage new technologies and a real commitment to involving our stakeholders in the co-production of our messaging and products.
The Head of Marketing and Communications is line managed by our Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, is an active member of our Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with operations leads across the country to identify opportunities to amplify our voice, improve stakeholder engagement, increase brand awareness and support on service bids and tenders.
This role will build rapport with the team through face-to-face support, will build connections with our regional teams through regular travel and engagement and will actively seek to learn the pressures and opportunities facing our frontline teams that can be addressed through people-centred marketing and communications. This role will build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholder and will be a leader in driving the P3 culture and values across our organisation.
The successful candidate will have strong strategic marketing and communications skills and knowledge, excellent leadership and management skills, strong networking and budgeting skills, good awareness of and skills in outcome reporting (KPIs and ROI).
