In this role you will be responsible for working across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, with a prominent focus on supporting with account management of existing partnerships and developing our pipeline of prospects. The charity has a history of success in these areas and we would love to have someone join the team to build upon this success.
Ideally the candidate would have existing experience in corporate partnerships, but we are open to candidates with experience in one or more of the fundraising disciplines mentioned above, with a willingness to develop their skills and experience, through a supportive, coaching and a mentoring leadership style.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships
- Support with creating proposals and pitches to secure Brand, Corporate and Commercial Partnerships, with a strong focus on shared purpose and mutual benefit, to create successful long term strategic partnerships.
- Support with relationship management of current partners of Rays of Sunshine, ensuring they have materials to aid their fundraising.
- To manage the input of corporate partnership data on the CRM system (currently Donorfy).
- Manage the updates to the corporate pipeline master document, ensuring appropriate actions are met within deadline.
- Supporting the Corporate Volunteer Researcher to undertake the necessary research to support our pipeline of approaches.
Philanthropy
- Creating supporter updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of funding received from our Patrons and Major Donors, providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
- Provide support with the event planning of major donor events, and attend in person to provide support of events on the day.
Trusts and Foundations
- Support with research and the successful completion applications to secure donations from a pipeline of identified Trusts and Foundations
Stewardship
- Identifying new opportunities to create wow moments for donors and provide excellent stewardship of all major donors and partnerships.
General
- General administrative duties, including record meeting notes and actions, following up with partners, sending out of promotional materials, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, and taking telephones calls.
- Any other duties to support the success of the fundraising team.

Role overview:

We are looking for a Placement Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. Help Counselling Centre is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online. We are also a well-established training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training providers in London.
About Help
Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.
This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.
About the job
Reporting to the Help Director, the job is to ensure the smooth and effective running of the training placement process in line with BACP requirements.
This will include providing clinical support and expertise to the Help Director; managing and assuring the quality of the counsellor recruitment process; handling counsellor issues; overseeing weekly client allocations and reallocations; handling queries and managing relationships with clients, counsellors and supervisors; reviewing and enhancing clinical policies.
Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20.
We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.
Key responsibilities
· Provide clinical support and expertise to the Help Director as required.
· Manage and oversee process of new counsellor recruitment, ensuring all new counsellors are interviewed and vetted against a suitable set of standards and controls.
· Manage paperwork required by Training Organisations in relation to Trainee Counsellors at the beginning and during their placement.
· Being available to support Trainee Counsellors on clinical placement with Help.
· Manage the Cause for Concern’ procedure with Trainee Counsellors and Supervisors as and when they arise. This will include ensuring appropriate record-keeping and taking appropriate action to ensure counsellors are working safely and within the BACP ethical framework.
· Provide a point of escalation for client, counsellor or supervision queries.
· Manage and oversee weekly client allocations and reallocations.
· Manage any queries raised from Assessments and manage any declined clients
· Assist in the periodic review and creation of appropriate clinical policies and procedures. Provide input into policies and procedures based on changes to best practice guidelines issued by professional bodies.
The Candidate
Education & experience: Counselling or Psychotherapy Qualification, BACP or UKCP professional membership, 3-5 years' post-qualification experience. Experience of working within a training environment within the same industry highly desirable.

Zero Carbon Guildford (ZCG) is looking for an experienced, organised and capable project development coordinator to help build and support our projects and enable our fantastic volunteer community to achieve more in their climate and environmental impact goals.
We are a Surrey-based charity offering practical solutions which help residents and businesses cut waste and emissions, remove confusion and misinformation on how to make a difference, and provide local solutions to a global crisis.
Overview & Purpose
The role of the Project Development Coordinator is to assist existing ZCG projects in achieving maximum impact, and develop new projects where ideas have been put forward or gaps are identified. You will provide project management support, forming teams of self-sufficient volunteers, and provide support in monitoring and evaluation. You will be part of a team comprising paid staff and volunteers. As such, alongside project development your focus will be on supporting and nurturing personal development within the volunteer base whilst driving forward the Charity’s objectives.
An important part of the role is to help effectively communicate these objectives and the associated outcomes of ZCG projects to the public and stakeholders, in line with our engagement strategy. This will include assisting with the coordination of project-focused outreach events, the development of displays, as well as responding to email, social media and telephone enquiries, recognising that every conversation is an opportunity for further collaboration.
Fundraising is key to the stability of the charity. The Project Development role will help to identify and develop fundraising activities which help projects to be somewhat self-sustaining. This will include identifying available funding pots and understanding project teams’ funding needs, as well as raising funds through events and community fundraising.
We are advertising this role alongside an Operations Coordinator, and envisage each of these being ~4 days a week, which will include some evening and weekend hours. Tasks

Job Title: Partnership Development Manager
Salary: £34,500.

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.
When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.
Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.
- Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies.
- Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership.
- Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-driven UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips voluntary community educators to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. Our vision is of our world where communities unite to create the futures they want to see, through education.
Since 2016, through collaborating extensively with over 250 local volunteers, who take a central leadership role in the development of the network, we have supported 50 communities in creating and running community-led and owned education spaces named ‘Spots’, with a strategy to support them in moving towards our ‘Dream Spot Model’. Together, we are developing a model for a community-led education space with accompanying network engagement that could have relevance in settings across the world.
Our Ghana-based programmes team creates collaborative learning opportunities through three leadership programmes for volunteers: the Ignite, Catalyse and Peer Mentoring Programmes. These enable them to lead EduLit, EduSTEM, EduKidz and Ignite Equity clubs, alongside locally designed education projects, reaching over 10,000 students of all ages annually. About this role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional, with a proven track record of income generation and a strong ability to develop impactful relationships with the skills to bring aligned individuals and organisations into our long-term EduSpots community. The post holder will be creative, passionate and self-motivated, with strong marketing and communications skills, able to design and implement strategic fundraising approaches.
In this role, you will take on responsibility for identifying, creating and delivering impactful fundraising strategies that enable us to generate further relationships and income in support of our programmes.
You will oversee the development of our individual giving and monthly giving strategies and further develop relationships with schools, corporate organisations and NGOs, with a focus on resource acquisition (e.g. books, electronic devices) alongside fundraising. You will also play a supportive role in events and campaigns, and work closely with our Head of Communications to ensure our marketing and communications strategy is integrated with our fundraising aims. Currently, we already have a trusts and foundations manager, but would welcome applicants with experience of trust fundraising.

Working alongside CRIN’s Creative Directors and communications team, you will:

Write engaging and accessible copy for CRIN’s channels (website, social and digital platforms)

Manage the communications campaigns and digital strategies for CRIN’s projects, events and activities;

Manage content for our digital platforms in a variety of formats (illustrations, videos, audio and written pieces);

Develop a new social media strategy and manage our social media channels

Implement a shift in approach to CRIN’s Instagram, fully weaving it into how we communicate about our work and with our audience — beyond stats and followers — to build a community where there is mutual learning;

Coordinate tasks for our Digital Designer and Graphic Designer as required;
