The role sits within the Development team and will initiate and develop high value, long-lasting relationships with individual Major Donors, Philanthropists and Trusts and Foundations. Through managing a portfolio of prospects and donors, they will secure five- and six-figure donations in support of all areas of the National Gallery’s work, from Exhibitions to Learning and other unique programmes, as well as contributing to fundraising for the NG200 Bicentenary Campaign and its legacy.

Joining us, you should have:

• A demonstrable track record in securing Major Gifts of five-and-six figures from individual or Trust and Foundation donors, and successfully stewarding these relationships
• The ability to create and convey (in person and in writing) a compelling case for support, tailored to meet Major Donors' interests. This includes writing and presenting proposals and applications, and providing accompanying financial information
• Ability to design and implement successful creative cultivation and stewardship plans and programmes for Major Donors

Main duties and responsible 

• Prepare and write compelling applications to charitable trusts and foundations who have the capacity to make five and six figure gifts towards the charity’s work;
• Prepare and submit scheduled applications and reports to current funders, ensuring that we hit deadlines and develop relationships with the trusts and foundations currently supporting Villiers Park;
• In collaboration with the Senior Leadership team, and colleagues in Fundraising and Communications, create engaging and accurate reports to current funders that share the impact of their support, including trusts, major donors and university partners;
• Develop and implement targeted stewardship strategies that bring current donors closer to our work;
• Identify new prospects and propose engagement and cultivation strategies;
• With the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships and Chief Executive, develop the trusts and philanthropic strategy to support the organisation’s five year plan from 2025;
• Prepare regular financial and pipeline reports, working closely with the Finance team on budgeting and forecasting;
• Support the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to identify and develop fundraising channels, including family trusts, corporate foundations and legacy giving;
• Ensure compliance with Villiers Park’s safeguarding policies, and with the charity’s gift acceptance and fundraising policies and processes.

This list is not exhaustive and the post-holder will be required to undertake other tasks relevant to the role and within their capability.

Desirable skills and experience

• Experience of fundraising for an educational or social mobility charity;
• Experience of securing multi-year six figure gifts;
• Interest in extending fundraising knowledge and experience, to include major donors, legacies and university partnerships.

Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity.  Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our employment specialists based within primary and secondary care.

This role is still within its infancy and will be working closely with the Executive Director to lead and oversee our employment services.  Recent investment in our services has led to the growth of our employment offer and this role currently oversees four employment teams across Camden and Islington.  The post holder will work closely with the other members of the senior leadership team to shape, deliver and evaluate Hillside’s business strategy and support on ensuring Hillside continues to meet the needs of the local mental health community.

- To oversee and support the day-to-day running and growth of the employment services offering of the Charity; currently two Individualise Placement and Support (IPS) services and two Employment Advisors (EA) in Talking Therapies services.

- The post holder will be an active member of the senior leadership team, working in close coordination with the Executive Director and the Director of Clubhouse Operations.

As our Finance Manager you will be at the heart of the charity’s operations and play a vital role in helping us embark on a new 3-year strategy. Working closely with the Director of Operations and CEO your role and expertise will be pivotal in driving excellence and integrity in financial management and strategic financial decisions. 

Your responsibilities will span the entire financial lifecycle, from budgeting and forecasting to meticulous reporting and process optimisation, you will also lead on management reporting, cashflow planning and the delivery of WellChild’s audit, Annual Report & Accounts.

You will have a detailed knowledge of accounting principles (ideally from within the charity sector), strong analytical skills; be able to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking and have a proficiency in accounting alongside a relevant finance qualification; (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).

You will also need to have advanced excel skills, experience of charity accounts, SORP and charity VAT and be able to plan, prioritise and organise your work with impeccable attention to detail.

JOB SUMMARY

The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.

They will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in implementing and developing the therapeutic element including intensive therapeutic support, projects, budgets and service planning. This will include:

• Leading, implementing and developing therapeutic projects and service planning.
• Managing Grief Encounter therapists, supervisors, volunteers and placement students.
• Conducting assessments with families, supporting practitioners with complex cases in liaison with supervisors and delivering training.
• Ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies and guidance are being adhered to across all services, responding to safeguarding concerns and ensuring practitioners understand their safeguarding responsibilities.
• Working with the Bereavement Support Team to ensure the efficient and appropriate management of referral pathways.

The Digital Transformation Manager leads THET’s efforts to transform our own programmes of work and the way THET  operates, and also that of the Health Partnership community to better incorporate and enable best practice in digital solutions. The Digital Transformation Manager will work with teams across the organisation to consider how in every aspect of THET’s work we can transform our use of technology to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness, improve inclusivity and equity, and whilst reducing our carbon footprint. Digital Transformation is a key enabler for the organisation to help advance access to health services in low-and-middle-income countries, via activities such as building online communities, online learning for health workforces in complex and humanitarian settings, e-health, amongst others. This role will require engagement across the different departments of THET including programmes, and research, evidence and learning, and external engagement, as well as engaging with external stakeholders to drive and raise visibility of this agenda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

• Lead the review and delivery of THET’s digital transformation strategy. 

• Lead and implement THET’s digital enablers to support the organisation’s strategic plan.

Product management

• Develop and enhance the user experience of both external and internal stakeholders across key digital products including the THET website, Pulse platform, learning platforms and bespoke applications.

• Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a long-term strategy across our digital portfolio.

Stakeholder and project management

 • Provide guidance and capacity development to both THET staff and the Health Partnership community on digital implementations and best practice

• Ensure THET has accurate data and analytics to support operations and programmes across THET.

• Manage third party providers including vendors and Managed Service Providers, ensuring compliance with SLA’s.

• Support the implementation of GDPR practices across THET in line with regulation and best practice.

About the role:

Our Head of Marketing and Communications provides leadership and operational management of P3’s ambitious communications and marketing department, responsible for driving brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

The Head of Development will work closely with the CEO, Head of Programmes & Funding and Head of Operations & Finance, as part of the SLT, setting the strategy and taking responsibility for income generation across Frank Water including charitable fundraising as well as  commercial sales and development through our Social Enterprise.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience in income generation through fundraising and/or through commercial channels, with a proven track record in securing 6 figure gifts and/or contracts. You will be entrepreneurial and dynamic, keen to make your mark and develop sustainable income streams to enable increased impact for the environment and communities we work with. You are a natural relationship manager with high emotional intelligence and a proven track record of managing teams with a professional, enabling style.

You will be proactive, organised, and an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. You will have proven your communications skills and have a gift for quickly building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are self-motivated, tenacious, and solutions focussed.

It is essential you’re passionate about social and environmental change and you will be keen to develop an understanding of all aspects of our work. You are able to travel throughout the UK when required to meet donors and partners (TOIL where appropriate). There will be opportunities to visit our projects overseas and you will be comfortable to travel for up to two weeks at a time when these opportunities arise.

You’ll have experience, or be ready to take on the challenge of working in a small, dynamic and ambitious organisation where the scope of work is broad and you’re happy to work on all levels, where days often include both strategic meetings and getting ‘stuck in’ with the team.

You’ll be able to work from our central Bristol office at least one day a week, enabling face to face working with the team and opportunity to support the SLT in building a collaborative and supportive culture.

Finance & Resources Senior Manager | Full-time 35 hours per week | £46,749 - £51,184 
Based at our offices in Clapham, near Settle, with flexible home working. Will consider part time at four days a week. 

An impending retirement has opened up an exciting opportunity for an experienced, qualified Senior Finance Manager to help shape the future of YDMT and it’s subsidiary YDMT Consultants Ltd. We are a growing organisation with a current annual income of c£2million and a staff team of 36 FTE. 

Leading our finance and central support teams you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial health of YDMT and maximising our resources in order to deliver the greatest charitable impact.

Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is a small Charity doing big things for People, Landscape and Wildlife in the Dales. 

For 27 years we have delivered diverse and inspirational projects, helping to plant 1.5 million trees and securing the future of more than 750 hectares of wildflower hay meadows, creating habitats for our wildlife and helping to tackle climate change. About the role 

Leading on financial management processes across the organisation you will provide high quality, meaningful financial information to support the decision making our Board of Trustees.

You will support YDMT's fundraising, grant-giving and project delivery - leading the central support team to develop and manage robust HR, finance, IT and facilities systems and procedures.

As a member of the YDMT Executive Leadership Team, you will also support our Chief Executive in shaping the future of YDMT's work. You'll provide support and information to the Board and contribute to our vision and direction. 

About you

We are looking for a qualified Senior Finance Manager who is business orientated, with excellent leadership skills and delivers results. A proven background working within the charity sector or similar would be desirable, but isn't essential. You will be passionate about our work and can confidently lead on our financial management processes across the organisation, providing high quality meaningful financial information to support the decision making of the Board of Trustees.

You’ll be comfortable in connecting with the wider community, able to listen, gather the views of local people, and feed these back into our wider programme of work. 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Member Engagement

• Design and implement a community engagement strategy, this is to nurture positive relationships and information flow with different groups including Members, Tenants, Start-Ups, Community Groups and Community Organisations.
• In partnership with the Events Manager, activate an events programme, which creates opportunities for Member Organisations and other community groups and stakeholders to contribute to the Trust’s broader activities and development plans.

Key Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead on the instigation, scheduling and management of the Trust’s relationship with Community Forums and the relevant convenors.
• Be responsible for effective stakeholder management and mapping, to include local residents, local businesses and local voluntary sector groups to ensure maximum reach.
• Attend community meetings on behalf of Westway Trust to listen and engage in conversations about local issues and update them on the Trust’s activities. These meetings are primarily in the evening.

Institutional Racism Report

• Playing a key role with stakeholder groups on dissemination on the Tutu Foundation Report and the progress as the Trust moves towards eliminating ‘institutional racism’.

Grants & Community Investments

• Support the grants and impact manager in engagement with applicants of Westway Trust’s grants programmes, nurturing positive relationships with successful and unsuccessful applicants.

General Duties

• Support the development of new, refurbished, and existing spaces with innovative community development projects and events.
• In time you may be required to line manage at least one member of staff.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience of designing and delivering high quality, proactive and impactful community engagement activities, with a track record of creating innovative solutions to engage with people, particularly seldom heard community groups.
• Clear evidence of sound judgement and of an ability to evaluate options to make appropriate recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally with experience of writing Board/Committee papers with the ability to present persuasive arguments to senior stakeholders in a formal setting.
• At least 1 year experience of line management.
• Understanding of the needs of diverse communities and commitment to equality of opportunity

To work collaboratively with Early Help practitioners in delivering on the actions of the family's Early Help plan, with a specific focus on autism

To support families with a child who has autism at an early intervention and preventative level; ensuring their development and wellbeing are supported.

To offer group work programmes to parents with children with autism

To support the development of knowledge and skills in the workforce on issues related to children with autism and their families.

To support the Early Help service with engaging families in early intervention and preventative work, offering good practice guidance related to autism.

To attend Early Help allocations meetings to support with advice and guidance on cases that are coming into the localities and provide specialist advise on cases where autism is a need.

To cover Birmingham locality services.
