An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team. Role Requirements
STL1 – Provide support for Learning Activities set by Classteacher & Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant
- To support learning activities for individual, groups or whole classes of pupils, leading activities under the direction of the teacher or Senior Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher in their delivery of lessons.

STL 3 – Help to keep Children Safe
- Undertake annual safeguarding training.
- Adhere to the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and policies. Recording incidents pertaining to pupil safety, including for illness, accidents and incidents, accepting that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that ‘it could happen here’.
- Read relevant documentation / mandatory reads in relation to Keeping Children Safe In Education.
- Report any signs and indicators of possible abuse, being sensitive to the child/young person and circumstances, Identifying, report and record changes in behaviour and physical signs.

Main Purpose of the Role
The main objectives of the Corporate Fundraising Manager role is to lead the Corporate Partnerships programme; sourcing, developing and sustaining funding partnerships with a wide range of companies. This is a senior and hands-on role. You will take responsibility for developing and sustaining your own portfolio of corporate partners working with them to secure significant funds.
Main Areas of Responsibility
• Implement a corporate strategy which increases income and the number of corporate partners to exceed targets and build the pipeline for future years.

• Secure new business support from companies, taking a strategic and proactive approach to new business development.

Main purpose of the post
We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Coordinator to join a wider team that spearheads RUSI’s research fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director, Research Business Development, the successful candidate will enhance the institute’s business development activities by providing administrative and coordination support for business development, contracts, and risk management. Key tasks

Assist the Bids Manager with compiling information about RUSI as an organisation, its registrations, policies, organisational structure, banking and insurance details, financial information, and other generic details to be included in bid submissions and for due diligence.

Our head office is based in Tyseley (Birmingham) and we are offering this as a hybrid role, including working from the head office, across Birmingham and home working, with national travel when required. This role is based within the Community Support area of our Organising and Influencing team, which will play a crucial in ensuring that students can access advice and support with the challenging issues they might face, while also helping us to ensure that our social policy and campaign work is focused on tackling these issues head on.
Our advice function provides a high standard of independent, impartial, non-judgmental and non-directive advice, support and representation to Leeds Beckett University students on a wide range of issues. Our focus is on casework related to academic regulations and procedures, but we can also answer questions relating to housing and finance.
We have a diverse student population at Leeds Beckett, with a growing number of international students and a broad range of cultural backgrounds that exist in the University. An ability to understand, relate, and sympathise with issues that may present in different ways is an important attribute for this role.
The successful applicant will be expected to manage their own casework as well as supporting other members of the team, including helping to triage queries that come through to the service.
