As a Support worker with The Hope Foundation, your primary responsibility will be providing ongoing support to our tenants and service users, while working with them through support plans and growth plans, towards independent living.
The post-holder will:

Provide support to tenants in line with project aims and goals, including but not limited to providing mentoring, advice, support plans, employment training, property searches, admin support and assistance with tenancy sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Client Support
• Working with tenants through their individual development plans.
• Provide encouragement, advice, and support to tenants.
• Assist tenants with housing benefit applications, job searches and training.
• Liaise with agencies on behalf of tenants.
• Assist tenants with tenancy maintenance and basic life skills support.
• Work with individuals seeking support through The Community Hope Project.
(2) Property Maintenance
• Organise maintenance work within The Hope Foundation properties.
• Provide tenants with assistance in operating equipment and information regarding Health and Safety.
• Report any property or furniture damage/issues.
(3) Administration
• Keep tenant development plans, pen portraits, logs, and personal information up to date.
• Provide general admin support to organisation

- Assisting with servicing property meetings (i.e., circulating papers, coordinating actions where required).
- Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
- Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
- A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.

JOB SUMMARY:

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Appropriate and timely processing of accounts payable function;

• Timely disbursement of staff expenses;
• Set-up payments in the bank account in relation to UK suppliers and employees;
• Prepare vouchers for Foreign exchange transfers;
• Tracing foreign exchange settlements and flag outstanding settlements;

- The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- You will be responsible for providing support to all the residents as needed during the evening and night, including running co-designed activities, and responding appropriately to requests and incidents.
- The successful applicant must be able to model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, be skilled at building trust and be a great team player. You must be confident working as the sole support worker on site and have good judgement in managing incidents.
- This is a waking night support role, undertaking 12 hour shifts alongside concierge, 8pm to 8am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and development of the Kicks programme, as well as other disability and inclusion projects that help to connect communities, leading a team to deliver these initiatives. In addition, the post holder will have frontline delivery responsibility, engaging with young people, leading on the delivery of youth engagement sessions, and the delivery of educational workshops in the local community.
These will be based on themes including knife crime, equality, anti-social behaviour and mental health. You’ll be passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential. You’ll use your skills to help inspire, motivate and engage young people so that NTFC CT can enhance life chances and contribute to building stronger, safer, connected communities. This role will require some evening working and a flexible approach is required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has a flexible attitude to lead on our Welsh language service within the Fund.
The Fund is a truly bilingual organisation. Our principle is to treat the Welsh and English languages equally by offering a bilingual service to our customers and grant holders on a day-to-day basis.
The role is essential to ensure that the Fund fulfils its statutory legal requirements to comply with the Welsh Language Standards under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.
You will be the Fund's first point of contact for internal and external enquiries relating to the Welsh language and you will maintain an effective relationship with the Welsh Language Commissioners Office and with Welsh organisations. You will be part of the Fund's Communications Team and will work closely with our Translator to support our internal translation process.
The post holder will work independently to provide specialist leadership and support to teams within the UK to secure our provision of bilingual services.
The ability to speak and write in Welsh fluently and confidently is essential for this post.

Essential criteria
- There must be an understanding of the background and objectives of the current Welsh language requirements in terms of Legislation, Frameworks and Standards.
- Fluent in spoken and written Welsh, with a proven record of high quality Welsh proofreading
- Experience of providing training such as Language Awareness training to staff and customers
- Experience of using persuasion skills to ensure that the Welsh language is streamed across the organisation
- The ability and experience of working closely with the main Welsh organisations.
Desirable criteria
- Ability to co-ordinate systems and processes and develop effective working relationships to enable collaboration across the Fund
- Ability to work correctly to tight deadlines
- A strong understanding of the importance of a bilingual brand across the communication mix
