As a Ubele Programme Assistant, you will be a member of the Community Wealth Building hub supporting our Programme Manager with the Agbero2100 London programme by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with our partners ensuring resource availability for the project team from project inception to completion.

Main duties & Responsibilities

• To act as the first point of contact for the Agbero2100 London programme, responding to and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.
• To co-ordinate the work and meetings of programme stakeholders and partners, including minute taking. 
• To ensure effective and ongoing communications with key stakeholders, maintaining their interest throughout the programme.
• To gather partner agreements, consultancy agreements, contracts and purchase orders, working closely with our finance hub to issue invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Coordinate the programme information with stakeholders. 
• To manage programme information ensuring all data is stored and shared securely. 
• To organise events and seminars, and to draw together the contributions and outcomes from these events.  Providing support where appropriate.
• To contribute to the coordination of events with the support of Comms including maintaining positive relationships with Comms.
• To support the programme manager in efficiently collecting, relevant data to inform decision-making and enhance project outcomes.
• The Programme Assistant will utilize appropriate tools and techniques to collate data from various project stakeholders, teams, and relevant sources.  Establish a structured approach to capture both qualitative and quantitative data to assess project progress and performance under the instruction of the Programme Manager or Hub Lead.
• Support the Programme Manager in preparing regular and ad-hoc reports. 
• Support the Programme Manager to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of data collection methods, analysis techniques, and results for project audit and future reference. 
• Adhere to relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies related to data privacy, confidentiality, and security.Handle sensitive project data with the utmost integrity and take necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• To support or manage volunteers and interns. 
• To carry out additional work for the programme as and when required by hub lead.

About the role:

We are seeking additional staff to join our experienced and committed teams within our Complex Needs Service in Westminster.  You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs, relating to mental health, multiple physical health needs, poly-substance use and offending.

As a Project / Support Worker Complex Needs, your role will be to provide support to clients to enable them to understand their support needs and to manage these effectively.  You will hold a caseload of clients and be responsible for helping them to identify short term objectives, meet their goals and complete risk assessments. You will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop and manage relationships, build social networks and to access various services.

About you:

• Previous experience of working in the health and social care, supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with complex mental health, physical health or substance use support needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. Support the CFO and Deputy Director of Finance and senior leadership team to set up the Financial Centre of Excellence dedicated to supporting Black and racially Minoritised community groups.

B. Provide bespoke financial management capacity-building support to Black and racialized organisations in 8 London boroughs, including supporting groups to:

1. Conducting financial health checks and developing and implementing action plans.

2. Provide training, and guidance to groups supported on ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory and funder requirements governing the sector, employer responsibilities training, and governance.

About the role

This role is all about developing a welcoming and supportive support group community for kinship carers wherever they live. Building belonging, resilience and empowerment for support group leaders and kinship carers.

Funded by the Department for Education, our national Peer Support Service is creating a sustainable and life-changing legacy for kinship carers across England.

This is a game-changing service for kinship carers and builds on Kinship’s 10 years’ experience of developing peer support groups, and two years delivering a national service which has set up 145 new groups. 

As a Peer Support Officer, you’ll make sure we deliver an exceptional and consistent peer support service for kinship carers.  

You’ll set-up and develop new in-person groups in areas of high need, as well as supporting existing groups to thrive, developing a resilient and powerful peer support community.

Purpose of the role

Taking responsibility for the North West of England, you will reach out and work directly in local communities to develop sustainable kinship peer support groups.

You’ll need to think strategically – mapping areas and utilising resources to be effective and efficient in managing your time and building local connections.

Using community engagement techniques like coffee mornings, community events and linking with our training and support service, you’ll build local connections and relationships.

As you develop a group and recruit support group leaders, you’ll provide standardised training and help the group to navigate forming and storming – providing reassurance and support to empower the group.

Once the group is stable, you’ll transition the support group leader/s over to the ‘Hub’ team to build confidence and knowledge to run their group independently.  You’ll also support online groups and special interest groups to transition to independence. 

You’ll ensure targets are met and that kinship carers receive a good experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• In person (face-to-face) strategic outreach into local and regional communities including setting up and attending local engagement events.

• Set up and develop at least six new sustainable in person peer support groups annually, attending up to six sessions in person (if needed) before transition to self-sufficiency.

• Recruit and retain support group leaders to develop their peer support groups.

• Deliver standardised training to support group leaders (group roles and responsibilities, safeguarding, setting up, running and promoting a group).

Essential requirements include:

• Proven experience in reaching and establishing strong relationships with hidden or underserved communities in person.

• Significant experience developing peer support communities.

• Proven experience of recruiting, managing, training and supporting volunteers in community settings with an emphasis on understanding and working with vulnerable volunteers. 

• Proven experience of ensuring outcomes and impacts of services are evidenced through high quality data collection.

The Regional Fundraisers role is to mobilise and maximise local fundraising activities in order to raise income to support the work of the charity.  Working to the Director of Fundraising and with other senior fundraising staff, develop and implement a comprehensive regional fundraising strategy to maximize income generation and donor engagement within the region.  You will be required to be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity as well as identify, cultivate, and grow relationships with community groups, schools, individuals, and corporate donors within the region, focusing on donor retention and growth.  You will also organise and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives within your region, including virtual and in-person events when applicable.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, patients can often go through their entire treatment and recovery without meeting another patient, so external support is vital.

Over the last 4 years, our Support & Information Service has seen significant growth, and developed to become a leading source of support for patients, family members, siblings and friends of patients.  Our Support & Information team provide enduring support and ensure that this can be accessed at any point in a primary bone cancer journey and by anyone affected.

Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service.  The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.

They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of  virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

 We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties

This is a new role, joining a small but growing Fundraising and Events Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will oversee most fundraising income generation activity.

The Fundraising Officer will build positive relationships to secure significant income and develop new relationships with groups, business and individuals, bringing in regular and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating fundraising campaigns and ‘asks’). Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief, and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we support. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Overview

1. Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Maximise the contributions and connections with local business and individuals.
3. Coordinate all appeals including The Big Walk across all income and media streams.
4. Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities such as Payroll Giving, Legacies (with help from The Legacy Officer), in Memory Giving and Online Giving.

Supporter Engagement and Stewardship

1. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to The Trust’s supporters.
2.  To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
3.  Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.
4.  Develop and implement Fundraising groups across the UK

Database Management

1. To ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
2.  Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
3.  Train other staff members to support general fundraising.
4.  Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.
5.  Reconcile fundraising income with the Finance Manager, including Gift Aid claims, missed, failed payments and Direct Debit cancellations.

 Individual Giving

1. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
2. Lead the growth of CT100 monthly giving.
3. Work with the Press and PR Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.

Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns

1. Work alongside teams and PR and Communications Manager to promote The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the PR and Communications Manager.
3. Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside PR and Communications Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses and individuals

Staff and Volunteers

1. Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropriate.
2.  Work closely with Head of Operations and PR and Communications Manager  to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.

Wider organisational responsibilities

1. Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
2. Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Operations.
3. Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of The Cinnamon Trust

About the team:

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

• creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;

• sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and

• providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.

This role will coordinate the ‘hub’ resources and content with a focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders.  Specifically, this role will manage an ‘online hub’ for support group leaders and provide an excellent ‘customer experience’ for all support group leaders. You will support the hub innovation.

Together with the Peer Support Hub Lead you’ll take a human centred approach to working with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources and activities (for in person and online).  You’ll build good relationships with support group leaders, building in their insight to develop resources and activities that will support them in their role.

You’ll help kinship carers to sustain their groups, working with colleagues across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), ensuring a joined-up user experience.

About the role:

The role of the Peer Hub Coordinator will provide operational delivery of the Peer Support Hub. With excellent marketing, communication and digital skills this role will work with the Peer Support Hub Lead to develop an ‘in person’ and online peer support community.

 In this context, your role supports the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. This will be building on and innovating the current Support Group Network.

 Your role will support group leaders to feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.

The type of person we're looking for:

Super organised, you are someone who uses their initiative, anticipates challenges and proactively provides seamless solutions. 

You’ll be comfortable with using digital technology and tools to build communities and develop resources. You’ll be curious about digital community tools, and you’ll want to work closely with our digital and content team to develop an amazing online experience.

You’ll also be a people person – understanding how building ‘in person’ relationships is key to unlocking community power for kinship carers.

You’ll be the right-hand person to the Peer Support Hub Lead making sure we deliver a really brilliant experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operational delivery, innovation and management of a dedicated online and in-person peer support ‘hub’.

• Building direct and positive relationships with support group leaders.

• Roll out mechanisms and tools to support groups to remain sustainable including but not limited to; informal buddy matches, online hub for support group leaders, monthly e-news, monthly speakers, themed specialist training (like setting up a safe Facebook group / promoting your group) and celebration events.

• Facilitation of regional network meetings.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience of developing jargon-free content for different audiences and channels.

• Experience of providing project support, delivering plans on time and evaluating outcomes.

• Experience of stakeholder communications and building relationships with stakeholders (e.g. beneficiaries and partners).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our PCN3 Care Co-ordinator team. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated people to take the role of Care Coordinator and join our fantastic PCN team. We will provide full training for the role. The Care Coordinator will be directed to undertake a key role in helping to drive improvements in health outcomes for patients through the delivery of early diagnosis and preventive work with a specific focus on improving the uptake of Health promotion & screening. The Care Coordinator role will support identified patients from all 7 practices across the PCN to navigate the NHS health care system and ensure that their care is coordinated.

CEASE is looking for an experienced policy officer with a passion for ending all forms of sexual exploitation. Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the role will entail political advocacy, relationship building across stakeholders, including Parliament and research and policy analysis.

Totleigh Barton, the first ever Arvon writing house, is a 16th-century manor house in one of the most peaceful and idyllic parts of Devon. The Director will ensure that all aspects of Totleigh Barton are managed to the highest possible standard, overseeing the smooth running of Arvon's courses and retreats, while also holding ultimate responsibility for the upkeep of the buildings and facilities. This role is key to providing a welcoming and hospitable environment for a regularly changing cohort of guests and school groups who arrive every week for up to 40 weeks per year. It is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, providing a uniquely creative environment in a national charity praised for its outstanding artistic programme. This is a three-day per week role.

• To take a leadership role in supporting the Stothard Supported Living mission.

• In discussion with the Project Manager, take direct responsibility for managing and delivering identified functions. Progressively increase the range of experience in supporting and leading staff, and liaising with external agencies.

• Liaising with the Finance Administrator to deliver administrative/financial support related to the Deputy role as it develops further.

• Provide service support and a secure and positive home for tenants whilst ensuring highest quality standards.

• Assist the Project Manager in line with direction from the Trustee Management Committee.

• Take an active role with the Project Manager in planning future developments.

• Deputise for the Project Manager where required.  Step up as Project Manager for an enhanced salary if the current Project Manager is unavailable for a significant period of time. There will need to be discussion about extending the part time role in these circumstances.
