In this role you will be:

Identifying, developing and maintaining effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.

Proactively promoting suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

Equipping a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.

Delivering training and raising awareness of products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.

Contributing to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.

Contributing to and promoting campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience

Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience

Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme or area of work

The ability to travel to different locations across the Yorkshire area to attend meetings, events and deliver training.
Salary: £29,269 per annum (NALC SCP 18) progressing by increments to £32,076 per annum (NALC SCP 23)

Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced professional to manage it’s fundraising from a portfolio of statutory (government and multilateral) donors, such as Defra, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service etc.
You will support colleagues and partners to develop high-quality proposal packages for priority donors, and ensure their timely submission. You will coordinate proposals and reporting internally, and ensure all documents produced for donors meet their criteria, as well as follow Fauna & Flora approval and submission procedures. There is a strong capacity development element to this work, and you will share knowledge, learning and resources across Fauna & Flora to maximise success rate and promote best practice in grant management and donor stewardship. You may also develop and deliver training packages, in Cambridge and potentially overseas. You will monitor Fauna & Flora’s activities in statutory fundraising and fund management within your portfolio, and support internal decision-making and strategy development by sharing this learning.
Experience of working with government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing restricted funding from government sources, and a strong understanding of how statutory donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities. Weston Hospicecare is seeking a passionate and experienced fundraiser to lead our Individual Giving programmes. The Individual Giving & Lottery Manager will play a crucial role in maximising funding for Weston Hospicecare through individual giving, inspiring new donors and maximising opportunities with existing ones. You will lead on all campaigns and appeals and bring the incredible work of Weston Hospicecare to life using your fantastic story telling skills and using research and analysis to drive decision making.
We are seeking someone who can also maximise income through our mature lottery, working closely with our third-party Lottery company, and bring their existing skill set to this exciting area of growth. Experience in this area is welcome, as is someone who would relish the opportunity to expand upon their individual giving expertise and utilise their existing analytical skills to develop our lottery strategy.

About the role
Our Surrey Volunteer Recruitment Manager (VRM) works closely with VRMs in Herts and London and our marketing team to promote the MCR programme to organisations and individuals. The purpose is to recruit committed volunteers who will mentor a young person in their school for one hour a week during term time.
