The role
We’re looking for a Volunteer Development Officer to support us in the delivery and development of high quality volunteering across our organisation. You will champion and support volunteering in Citizens Advice and influence the position and profile of volunteering across the service. You’ll work closely with the Head of Volunteering to support the delivery of the new volunteering strategy, ensuring that stakeholders from across the organisation are engaged in its development. You’ll provide operational volunteer management direction and support and maintain high standards in volunteering through the provision of guidance, tools, information and training.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager and Trusts Executive, and be line managed by the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Lead.
Your key objective is to provide operational, administrative and analytical support to the team to grow income and enable War Child to deliver quality programmes. The Role
We are looking for someone to join the hugely successful and vibrant Fundraising team at NWAA. Duties will include:
- Developing and implementing a local fundraising plan to maximise income generation across Lancashire
- Researching, identifying and developing long term partnerships with appropriate groups and associations, individuals and volunteers
- Working closely with retail staff and volunteers to maximise synergies across Fundraising and Retail
- Acting as a positive ambassador for NWAA, promoting and raising awareness of its service and delivering engaging fundraising presentations to potential and existing local supporters.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Case Manager to deliver the Drive Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) programme. This role involves working one-on-one with perpetrators identified as high risk through MARAC and the Thames Valley Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel (DAPP). The aim is to secure engagement, influence behavioural change, and link perpetrators to complementary services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion organisational values of ambition, compassion, innovation, and integrity.
- Develop and implement strategic individual intervention plans in collaboration with existing agencies.
- Work closely with Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) to review risks, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes.
- Manage long-term outcomes by working with each service user for 3-12 months to achieve behaviour change.
- Engage proactively with multi-agency settings to ensure a coordinated response.
Essential Experience:
- Direct work with vulnerable service users.
- Experience in public protection/safeguarding multi-agency settings (e.g., Child Protection, MARAC, MAPPA).
