There are currently 2.9 million people in the world living with MS and currently there is no cure. But, Overcoming MS provides hope through lifestyle changes which are backed by scientific research and which enables sufferers to lead a full and healthy life with MS.
Reporting to the CEO and managing a small team of two, we are looking for support to create long-term and sustainable income streams that allow us to plan for strategic growth. This is likely to involve building a pipeline of corporate partners, major donors, and legacy pledgers to grow income over the medium to longer term as well as managing and developing relationships with prospective high value donors.
The appointed candidate is likely to bring demonstrable experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies, regularly reviewing them and monitoring against KPIs. Your Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience in trusts and foundations fundraising.
- Proven success in securing grants at the five-figure level.
- Sound understanding of trusts and foundations interests and methods.
- Strong IT skills, including fundraising databases and MS Office packages.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team.
