The Friends of Moorfields is a registered charity supporting the patients and staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a world centre of excellence for the specialist treatment of eye diseases.
The Friends provide a range of services to support the work of the hospital, including managing the trust’s volunteer service, health information hub and hospital shop.
The Position
The Financial Administrator is an essential role, responsible for assisting the Finance and Operations Manager in the development, administration, and financial management of this c.£500,000 a year hospital-based charity.
The successful candidate will be an all-rounder; someone who is comfortable working on their own initiative, is well organised, numerate, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a small and friendly team. The successful candidate will be supported to grow and develop in this role, through an active approach to training and development, and through a positive and empowering working environment.

You’ll join a small, dynamic team of three and lead all media and PR activity linked to our policy, research, and influencing work. This is a pivotal role in our busy press office, building strong relationships with political and social affairs journalists to share compelling stories from one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities.

- Respond to varied media requests, from service visits to commentary on major Government announcements like the National Plan to End Homelessness.
- Create impactful, politically savvy press materials, press releases, opinion pieces, responses to breaking news and letters to editors.

About you

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

Our CEO, Daisy Srblin, has served since May 2022, and is expecting to take maternity leave from May 2026. We are looking for an excellent Interim CEO, to steward YCF in her 9-12 months away, lead our team and keep our charity on track.
2026/27 is set to be a busy period for Young Camden Foundation, as we navigate a complex ecosystem for the voluntary sector, embed new projects, and drive forward the objectives of our 2025-28 strategy. This is also a pivotal year for fundraising efforts, as is the case for many in our sector, and maintaining strong leadership on behalf of our dynamic and talented team will also be essential.
We are looking for an experienced Interim CEO, who brings particular proven expertise around fundraising, people and budget management, and reporting, as well as confidence in stakeholder relationships and proven leadership experience.
You will be responsible for a team of 7, reporting to a board of twelve, and managing a budget of around £1.3m. You will be responsible for the effective management and delegation of responsibilities throughout the team, via your three direct line reports. You will be responsible for reporting to funders on a regular basis, who fund everything from YCF’s core operations to our grants and onward projects. You will oversee YCF’s complex functions, including grant giving, membership and training, and youth engagement.
You will lead on YCF’s fundraising goals for 26/27 and beyond, helping to put YCF on a firm and confident footing as we look to the future. You will also lead external engagement work at the charity, ensuring YCF is represented and advocating in high-level spaces in Camden, whether with Camden Council, local Councillors, sector and member leaders, and local businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The job of a CEO is hard to define, especially in a small charity, so the list below is by no means exhaustive, or reflective of all the responsibilities you will undertake in post.
However, these summarise the key areas of responsibility and priority as Interim CEO in the 9-12 month period:
1. Fundraising on behalf of our objectives
2026 is a pivotal fundraising year for YCF, as with so many in the sector. You will lead on our fundraising efforts (including identifying and writing bids) for both core and project funding in this important year, to put YCF on the strongest financial footing possible in delivering our objectives to 2028.
2. Team management and leadership
The YCF team is a dynamic mix of individuals, ranging from longer-serving staff to newer staff. You will effectively lead our people (YCF’s key asset) driving performance by identifying development opportunities, and effectively delegating to get the most out of our team. You will also be called upon to make judgement calls on behalf of the team, when these come up.
3. Stewarding our finances
In our small organisation, the CEO is chiefly responsible for the effective stewardship of our finances. Working closely with our Finance Manager, you will set our 27/28 budget and steward and monitor our performance across both financial years (including around fundraising targets). You will oversee an effective audit process in 2026, and ensure records and invoicing are meticulous and kept up to date.
4. Supporting project management and delivery
While staff members hold responsibility for their work streams, YCF is a small team, and you will have overall responsibility and oversight for all delivery, including two sizeable projects in the 26/27 year (the delivery of the UK Government’s Holiday Food and Activities programme, (HAF) on behalf of the Borough of Camden, and YCF’s new cross-borough programme tackling Serious Youth Violence). You will ensure strong delivery across each workstream, identifying opportunities for development throughout, and stepping in where needed.
5. Ensuring effective communication
YCF has a wide range of stakeholders, including members, funders, partners and many others from our cross section of voluntary, public and private sector partnerships. You will be an effective communicator (verbally and in written form) and able to represent YCF in the spaces needed, including with prospective partners, on strategic boards, and with high-level stakeholders. You will lead the team in our written reporting to funders, guiding the team to harness our data to communicate our impact.
6. Oversee governance
Bringing experience with Board accountability, you will report to the board quarterly, and work closely with the Chair to ensure progress is being driven forward on YCF’s strategic objectives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for the following essential experience in our prospective Interim CEO candidate:
- Successful fundraising experience: You will have proven experience in fundraising in a VCS context, including from Trusts & Foundations, corporate sources, and Local Authorities. You will have direct experience in writing applications, making pitches and so on.
- Proven finance experience: As a proven sector leader, you will have experience managing complex and large organisational budgets. You will be able to demonstrate how you have set and managed budgets in the past, including stewarding budgets to effective use.
- Leadership and team management: You will have experience of leading teams, including in contexts without an internal HR function where these are held by the CEO. You will be well versed in all aspects of team leadership, including managing performance, supporting morale and maintaining YCF’s positive team culture. You will have held the position of Director or CEO before, and have experience reporting to a Board of Trustees, and knowledge of governance arrangements that support a healthy charity.
- Exceptional communication: You will demonstrate proven exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be well versed in compiling strong reporting to funders and stakeholders, as well as producing high quality reports for Trustees. You will also be an exceptional verbal communicator, representing YCF and the needs of our members in advocacy spaces.
- Project start up and management: While YCF has senior leaders to oversee work delivery, you will bring your own experience in project management, to help support existing and new projects at YCF, namely the Tackling Serious Youth Violence Project, which will begin in 2026.
- A positive attitude: Working in a small charity is tremendously rewarding, but it can be tough to lead a small organisation. You will demonstrate proven maturity in navigating those challenges, while bringing an optimism and positive attitude to your work, including all of the (many) responsibilities that fall outside of the ‘usual’ CEO job description, in a small charity.
We would also ideally be looking for some of the following desirable areas of expertise and experience:
- Working in a youth setting: Our Interim CEO will need to share our passion for a stronger Camden for all children and young people. Ideally you will also bring experience of working in a youth setting or for a youth focused charity in the past, and be familiar with some of the challenges facing children and young people
- Grant making: Our Interim CEO will steward a significant grant-making budget of around £1m per year. Our ideal candidate would bring knowledge of hyper-local grant giving for community led organisations
- Working with and for community groups: Our team works predominantly (though not exclusively) with members who are micro, small and medium sized. Ideally you will be well versed in the unique challenges facing grassroots community VCS organisations. You may bring experience leading a small charity yourself, proving your understanding of the unique leadership challenges in doing so
- Understanding Camden: YCF’s work is unapologetically rooted in our borough, with all its challenges and opportunities. Our ideal candidate brings an understanding of the challenges of living within inner London, particularly for communities facing disadvantage.

About this role
The Philanthropy Manager will own an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at five to six figure level and act as the day-to-day relationship manager within that portfolio.
The role plans and delivers cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity to agreed KPIs, makes timely operational decisions within scope, and escalates risks/opportunities early.
The post holder contributes evidence and insight into team planning, supports senior colleagues on major/strategic accounts, and collaborates across teams to ensure high quality, inclusive delivery.
Key responsibilities

The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Individual Giving Officer (including Digital) to help grow and develop our Individual Giving and Legacy income streams.
You will plan, deliver and evaluate inspiring fundraising activity, build long‑term relationships with supporters, and provide excellent donor stewardship. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how supporters engage with — and feel connected to — the Orpheus Centre.
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging individual giving digitalappeals across multiple channels
- Develop and manage regular giving and donor stewardship journeys to increase loyalty and lifetime value
- Lead on all aspects of legacy fundraising, including promoting gifts in wills and administering legacy cases

About you

Role Summary:

About the role
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic delivery of strong marcomms campaigns and content creation that help meet programme targets, raise the profile of our work and drive increased targeted engagement with our programmes and services.
Your main focus will be on programmes to engage our schools audiences, including teachers, careers leaders and young people. You will also drive engagement with organisations that run STEM outreach activities to help make all schools outreach more impactful.
In your role you will manage recruitment campaigns and marcomms for EUK Education (our schools-facing brand) and associated programmes such as Big Bang. You will also manage social channels, web editing and some design elements, as well as supporting on wider marketing communications to our corporate audiences.

We are a large-scale restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 766-acre island. In 2026 we will become a Scottish charity - The Tanera Project – with core purposes spanning rural regeneration, resilience building in our public services via the provision of respite breaks, and ecosystem restoration.
We are looking for a Team Lead to take on the coordination of our Land and Estates Team across our island and mainland properties, totalling 6,500 acres of grounds, in-bye land, woodland and hill. The team has a wide remit, including grasskeeping, landscaping, regenerative agriculture on a crofting-scale, livestock, stalking, fishing, horses, guest activities, and supporting our gardens, ecology and path teams with extra hands when needed. The team is five strong, supported by seasonal hands, volunteers and staff from other teams working multifunctionally.
Our land management approach balances production, nature, and heritage, with an emphasis on using the land to build communities. We share everything we do with guests and volunteers so planning for and delivering shared activities is a core part of the role. We deliver our activities with an impeccable aesthetic centred round heritage, industry and creativity, requiring a real eye for detail. The Land and Estates Team covers several core functions in the charity and has a diverse remit with competing priorities so this role will appeal to proven leaders, able to deliver both on the ground and in terms of planning and organisation. It will involve turning a hand to many different tasks and many hours out and about in our challenging West Coast environment.
Regeneration
We are looking for an excellent coordinator with demonstrable experience in leading a team with a wide remit and proficiency in at least two of the team focus areas: grounds-keeping, agriculture, estate work, horses and working with guests and volunteers in an outdoor environment. The right candidate will be an experienced, creative, resourceful and flexible professional. They will have an interest in landscape scale regeneration that is attentive to heritage, productivity (food and more) and ecosystems. The salary for this role will be £40-50kpa, depending on experience.
Resilience
Our team comes from across the country and further afield. We have our own growing island community of staff, guests and volunteers, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. The work of the Land and Estates team is wide-ranging and there are also opportunities to work with different teams and on different projects, sail heritage boats, work with our horses, host guests, school groups and volunteers, and generally get involved with island life. We will be happy to discuss flexible shift patterns and accommodation options with the right candidate.
Restoration
The project is delivering stunning, sympathetic builds and charitable hospitality in an area of outstanding natural and cultural heritage. You will be working amid a range of unique Northwest Highland marine and terrestrial ecosystems, which we are striving to conserve and extend. We foster a culture of care, attention to detail, and creativity in everything we deliver for The Tanera Project charity, from looking after our guests, workforce, volunteers and local communities to growing and sourcing our food to restoring buildings and landscapes.

About the Role
As Programme Coordinator for Money Heroes, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship primary programme, helping children develop financial capability.
You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:
- Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery
- Support marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns
- Coordinate content development and website updates
- Help monitor and evaluate programme impact
- Provide high-level customer service to teachers, educators, and YE colleagues

- Keep track of programme activities using databases and spreadsheets, including teacher and parent sign-ups and training or mentoring events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and Programme Manager to support the growth and visibility of the programme, including contributing to marketing communications and coordinating activity to maintain engagement.

- This is a hybrid role based in London or Oxford, with a minimum of 8 office days per month
- The contract runs until December 2027
