The Cross Services Project Manager is a flexible, operational role, designed to provide capacity across multiple services, with a particular focus on Access to Work funded Employment Support and Community Connections, our Outreach and Day Opportunities services.

The role will support key operational functions, including Access to Work coordination and funding processes, while also contributing to delivery across services where demand is highest.

This position is intentionally designed to be adaptable in response to organisational priorities and changes in funding, ensuring Generate can maintain high-quality delivery while remaining responsive to external pressures.

The role of Interim Head of Fundraising

This is an exciting interim (9-12 month) opportunity for a strategic and people focused leader to head up our Fundraising team and help drive meaningful change for people affected by digestive conditions.

This role is primarily focused on strengthening and scaling voluntary income and leading our fundraising team and activities.  The postholder will also shape the future fundraising operating model and support a smooth transition to a permanent fundraising lead.

​You’ll be responsible for leading our small and growing fundraising team delivering exceptional supporter care, ensuring high quality service and operational delivery.  With our Chief Executive, you'll develop and implement strategies to support fundraising growth, team performance, and supporter engagement and satisfaction.  You'll work collaboratively across the charity. 

This is a hands-on role suited to a highly experienced fundraising lead who enjoys working with a growing and developing charity.

Hours & Salary range

We are looking for someone to work full-time, or a minimum of 4 days (or 30 hrs) per week. We will consider self-employed candidates for the role but this is subject to appropriate experience. Please stipulate clearly in your covering letter if you are applying on this basis.

Salary range is £65 - £68k (+£2k London weighting) to be calculated pro-rata for anyone looking to work reduced hours. Salary offers will be based on experience. 

Location

We have offices in London and Huddersfield, both of which are easily accessible by public transport or road. We support hybrid working but attendance in the chosen office is required for a minimum of 1 day per week.

Reporting into the Director of Finance and Operations, the Senior Finance Manager will join a small and dynamic team, focussing on general finance processes, internal controls and systems. The successful candidate will be an experienced finance generalist with strong experience of a wide variety of finance processes. You will be well versed in leading on aspects of the year-end process and/or the annual audit, including producing year-end schedules, accounts and liaising with the auditors. You will bring demonstrable experience of having improved financial controls and processes and using technology or automation to improve efficiencies. You will also have some team management experience having supported finance staff previously.

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances 

• Have experience working with people affected by substance misuse 

• Have lived experience of hepatitis C, or experience supporting someone who has

Dementia UK has a fantastic new opportunity to join our Challenge Events Team where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation.

As the team are expanding and taking on a new portfolio of events, you will manage three international marathons – Dublin, Athens and Valencia and two UK based events – Hackney Half Marathon and Manchester Marathon. As a Challenge Events Executive, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of these events using project management tools and techniques. You will coordinate the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers. You’ll nurture relationships with key stakeholder both internally and externally to ensure the best possible event delivery. You will stay up to date with trends in the challenge events market, identifying opportunities and making recommendations to expand and diversity the programme.

We are looking for you to have a good base of project management skills and have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns on mass. Relationship building and management skills are key to this role as these are new events to us with new partnerships and key stakeholders.
