The Administration and Operations Officer provides administrative support to the Birth Companions staff team across all aspects of our work, especially service delivery in the community. The postholder will have regular contact with the women we support, as well as with our volunteers and members of the public.

A key aspect of the role will be supporting, maintaining and helping to improve the systems, processes and records that underpin our day-to-day operations, ensuring they are accurate, well organised and used effectively across the organisation. The role involves regular attendance at our community groups, and meetings in London; occasional support at evening and weekend meetings and events will also be required, by arrangement.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities and projects across the organisation - ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to build a career in the charity sector, with the support and development to build skills and knowledge.
