Job description

Over the last few years we have increased investment in our membership offer, developed improved systems to manage membership information and processes, and strengthened our capacity building portfolio for members. Our forthcoming 2020-23 organisational strategy will ensure we build on this work, and this new fixed-term Membership Development Manager role will ensure we provide two critical factors to our overall success.

Firstly, the post-holder will lead on growing appropriate place-based support to grow provision for young people living in outer London. In particular, there are a number of ‘cold spots’ in outer London where community youth organisations need particular support

Secondly, the Membership Development Manager will lead the review of our existing quality assurance package and roll out new frameworks that are robust, relevant and easily accessible for our members.

We’re ideally looking for someone with a strong background in quality assurance and a good understanding of youth work in London. Project management skills are essential, as is the ability to engage senior decision makers and implement new ways of working within a team.
