Felstead Street is a CQC registered care home, which has a heavy focus on supporting customers with enduring mental health care and elderly needs. We provide 24hr high support to 24 customers both female and male. Our building is a purpose-built home on two floors, offering customers individual bedrooms and the use of shared communal facilities and gardens. The service is commissioned by East London Foundation Trust with the care contribution from London Borough of Hackney.
As a Support Worker at Felstead Street you will play an integral role in supporting our customers to making their lives interesting and enabling to manage their social, physical and emotional well being. You will support our customers with a range of activities and health support throughout the day and to live in a safe living environment. You will be part of a team which is very supportive of one another.
The successful candidate must be able to work some weekends and bank holidays as allocated. This role involves working 5 days a week. Each shift is 8 hours, 8am-4pm or 2.30pm-10.30pm, as allocated on the rota. You must be able to work 9am-5pm for 2 weeks every several weeks as required by the rota.

What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere in the home.
- Following lone working protocols and maintaining high levels of awareness to health and safety for self, colleagues and customers.
- Supporting customers to maintain a healthy and clean living environment, where appropriate, provide assistance to maintain their living areas are clean and safe from hazards.
- Providing support and assistance to customers during the day who may be experiencing difficulties with their own mental health and seeking appropriate support.
- Providing support with daily living activities including practical assistance to customers who may require this.
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
- Support customers actively in the community and engage with the local area.

A daily lunch service is at the heart of our day-centre delivery for young people experiencing homelessness. For many of our young people, lunch is their only hot, nutritious meal of the day. We are looking for a passionate Chef to work independently in our kitchen to deliver a daily meal for up to 100 young people, staff and volunteers. You will have responsibility for planning, preparing and serving food that makes a real difference to people's lives. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. You will be a self-motivating team player, organised, efficient and have a compassionate mind-set.
The role will work closely with the other person in post as Client Services Administrator and jointly manage the workload. The role also includes assistance and general facilities support to the Senior Operations and HR Coordinator.

East London Apartments provides 24-hour accommodation based support for up to 31 individuals with complex histories, multiple traumas, complex personality disorder(s) and a varied, disrupted housing history with experience of homelessness as well as individuals who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health conditions who are under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).

Summary of role: Our Green Doctors deliver home visits and telephone consultations across Slough, Maidenhead & Windsor & the surrounding areas. Consultations are a mix of advice, installation of small practical energy-saving measures such as low energy light bulbs and draft proofing and referring on to other health and wellbeing services. We aim to reduce our client’s energy bills and save them money in a variety of ways including providing a bill switching service.
You will be a practical, people-person with a passion for helping vulnerable people. You must have either knowledge or experience in energy efficiency to provide tailored energy saving advice, and the ability to adapt your approach to suit our client’s varying needs.
You must be comfortable with lone working and in managing your own workload.
A qualification as Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), NVQ Level 3 (6049-03) Provide Energy Efficiency Services, or City and Guilds Energy Awareness (6281-01) is desirable, but relevant experience within the field or a willingness to take the qualification will be considered. (20 paid study hours).
A full clean driving license is required.

Context of the role.
The successful candidate will be guided by the Communications & Fundraising Officer to communicate the experiences of refugees and asylum seekers and demonstrate the impact of Upbeat Communities to our supporters and followers, as well as to new audiences. The Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL) is one of the largest immigration and asylum advice charities in the UK, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to access justice. Purpose of the role:

Specific Responsibilities
Case management

Person Specification
Education/qualifications
- Ideally candidates must be Solicitors with IAAS Level 2 with at least 1-year immigration experience or OISC level 2/3 qualified
- If OISC level 1, the candidate will be expected to initially work under supervision completing level 2 work and qualifying at level 2 within 6 months. (Training is provided and study leave is accommodated.) Upon obtaining a higher level of accreditation, the candidate’s salary will increase in line with RAMFEL pay scales.

As Community Fundraising Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for people fundraising in their community for Diabetes UK. Teresa House and Hamlets Way are two supported housing accommodations for adults with enduring mental health issues. Both services provide a high level of support to 16 customers on each service. Teresa House is a fast stream service where customers are supported up to two years while Hamlets Way is a slow stream service where customers can expect support for a minimum of two to a maximum of 4 years.
The service is under Look Ahead management since April 2015 and the buildings are owed by Notting Hill Genesis.
